A Death in the Family by GDPeg43

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Lily Potter has been confined to her Godric's Hollow home for months now with little contact to the outside world, so it comes as a great surprise to her when she learns of her Muggle mother's death. Lily's strong urge to go to the funeral and say good-bye to her mother would mean putting herself and family in danger in multiple ways - and possibly seeing her estranged sister Petunia.

We'll Be Young Forever by Proserpina

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary:

“You and I, we'll be young forever!” *

After a long, interesting, sweltering summer the Marauders are back for their sixth year, and they feel as though their teenage lives have only just begun.

James has been pursuing Lily for years, and he sure as hell isn't going to give up now. Sirius might actually be falling in love (though of course that can't be possible, can it?), and Remus is struggling with problems in his own family. Meanwhile, Peter has to decide how much worth he can put on friends who he will never live up to. And then there's Lily Evans, a girl who's starting to fall for the very man she swore not to. Diana McKinnon, her best friend, keeps finding herself staring at a certain grey-eyed Gryffindor, even though every piece of logic she has tells her that he's trouble.

But even though there's the looming danger of NEWTs, pranks, oily Slytherins, and physical education, a much bigger problem has presented itself. The Marauders' sixteen-year-old world isn't the safe place it used to be. There are rumors of danger and dark magic throughout the school, and of a powerful dark wizard named Voldemort. The Gryffindor sixth years have to decide where their true allegiances lie and how much they are willing to sacrifice for a war that seems impossible to win.

*Title and quote taken from the lyrics of Katy Perry's summer hit Teenage Dream.

Note 3/26: Ok guys so I know that I haven't updated in forever, but I promise I'll finish the story! I'm struggling with some stuff, but hang in there, I haven't forgotten.

Lots and lots and lots of love, Olivia

An Air that Kills by Sapphire at Dawn

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Into my heart an air that kills*...

Nine-year-old Lily Evans's world is singularly un-complicated. That is until a certain trip to the playground with her sister. Could the sallow, stringy boy be right? Could she really be a witch?

*denotes a line taken from A.E Housman's poem of the same name.

The Lions of Gryffindor by Equinox Chick

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: It is June 1976 and The Marauders are at the top of their game. From the outside they look to have everything. But appearances, as the saying goes, can be deceptive.

James is discovering that not everything in life is his for the taking. Sirius knows he will have to defy his formidable family. Remus lives in constant fear of his life beyond Hogwarts. As for Peter... Well, Peter is struggling to live up to his friends.

The ties of friendship are strong, but war is raging and with a dark power rising those ties will inevitably fray.

Added to the mix is an adversary called Severus Snape, some lost House Points, a prank or two and a whole lot of Lily.

This is a Marauder tale.

This is a story of what made them special.

This is a story of why it started to go wrong for The Lions of Gryffindor.

OH MY GOOD GODRIC! Lions of Gryffindor won the 2009 QSQ for Best Marauders' Era Story. Amazed and incredibly grateful to those who nominated, judged and have beta'd this fic. THANK YOU.

The Last Enemy That Shall Be Defeated Is Death by simply_enamored

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: What if, on that fateful October night, it was not Lily's sacrifice that saved Harry, but James' sacrifice that saved them both? What if Lily is left to pick up the broken pieces of her life after its been shattered into a million pieces? Who would be there to rescue her? Who would get her through the night? This is a story of loss, of pain, of hopelessness, and ultimately, of healing.

------------------------------

After much deliberation and input from all you guys who have read thus far, I have officially decided to continue this story. It was initially supposed to be a one-shot, but I've decided I already have too much of my heart invested in it to quit now. :) Second chapter in progress. Thanks, all! Advice and reviews are still very welcome!

I'm With You by TheSilverEagle

And that's only the beginning.

Just a Boy by ToBeOrNotToBeAGryffindor

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary:

Who we are is seldom who we were or who we will be, sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worse. Sometimes, in special circumstances, we choose one and hold onto it because the alternative simply is not an option.

And so it was for Adam Mulciber and Mary MacDonald.
