The Depths of a Darkened Mind by Ron x Hermione
Rated: 6th-7th Years •Summary: Draco Malfoy is alone, wanted by Death Eaters, and yearning for sheer love. His cold eyes wander the Daily Prophet, smirking in an attempt to accept that fact he was a convicted Death Eater and wanted dead by both sides for betrayal. He seeks refuge in a chocolate frog instead of a bitter wheat cereal, his teeth savouring the sweet taste as he chewed, thinking only of dark things.
But upon staring at the prize that comes with the candy, a Wizard card, he finds himself whisked away to a dangerous place, the air filled to the brim with death, now feeling as if he will retch if he doesn’t escape. But he soon finds that he can’t. Running into giants, more cards, and a secret passageway that will ultimately determine his fate, Draco Malfoy will ultimately find his way home, whether it's the kind of home he wishes for, or one he must choose.
