Author's Notes:
First and foremost, thanks immensely to my two betas, Abby (abbs866) and Gina (Gmariam). I never knew a poem could improve so much! You guys worked wonders on this little rondeau, and I’m forever in debt to you because of it.

I’ve mentioned that this a rondeau. I’ll give you guys a quick explanation of it incase you’re not sure what it is. The rhyme scheme is:

The Refrain is the first four syllables of the first line. There are eight syllables in each line (except the refrain) and there is supposed to be a turn in the final verse. That’s the best I can do!

This was written for Lucius/Narcissa.

Few fill me up with true, pure joy,
Sheer bliss that I cannot destroy.
Through good and bad, he stays with me,
So that I’m always safe and free.
He’s magical, a wonder boy.

Love like this is hard to employ,
But once it’s mine, I do enjoy
The thrill this miracle can be.
Few fill me up.

You were false, a liar, decoy.
I soon found out it was a ploy,
Before I was forced to agree,
With your ludicrous decree,
That I would have to be your toy.
Few fill me up.


Author's Note: So, how did I do? What did you think of the "turn" in the final stanza? Do you think it fits Lucius/Narcissa?
