Story Notes:
This poem is inspired by the Tritina form of poetry, but I don't think it actually is a Tritina, as it has four lines in each stanza, rather than three.

Thank you to Minna (minnabird) and BB! (saiynswiftfoot) for their help with my durned commas.

1. I Fall by hogwartsbookworm

I Fall by hogwartsbookworm
Pounding heart and gasping breath,
I run for safety from the spells.
A long dark cloak, a hooded head --
Before his gaze, my cheeks go pale.

I raise my wand, my fingers pale;
Scared, all lessons flee my head.
He laughs and then he casts his spell.
I jump aside; take in a breath.

Stupefy!” with shaking breath,
I say, and watch his face, death-pale.
He sends a new curse toward my head,
and blocks the jet with his own spell.

The world goes pale as he steals my breath; no longer in my own head, I fall to his spell.
End Notes:
You could leave a review. I really wouldn't mind. In fact, I'd be rather pleased.
