Warnings are fairly mild. Sexual Situations is mainly for infatuation, and Alternate Universe is simply for the fact that Hermione has gone back in time. :)

Disclaimer: I am not JKR. I am pretty sure she would not ship Tomione. :)

Do you think of me the same? by Nagini Riddle
Do you think of me the same?

I pace behind these walls, consumed
with shame and fear that spill upon my cheeks,
try as I might to count the passing weeks,
but the weeks only prophesy of coming doom.
Yet each time I behold your face--
perfection that seeks to draw my will--
I feel my pulse quicken, my heart thrill,
and I know I am trapped in this time and space.

Do you think of me the same?

You caught my gaze once--or was it thrice?--
as my treacherous eyes roamed the curve of your lips;
you lifted your glass in mock salute and took a customary sip,
but left me view of what I sought, left me to my own device.
And I, a fool, could only blush, lowering my sight,
wild thoughts unbidden rambling through my mind.
Inside I cry out, –What an awful fix! A demonic bind!”
But dreams creep from the fiery shadows during the night.

Do you think of me the same?

What would they say back home if ever word did reach:
–Screw your head on right! Look at what he’s done!
Look at all the hell he’s strewn! He’s the nameless one!”
Could I ever listen to such words that they would preach?
But even when all I see is your slender hand,
caution leaps joyfully into the winds, all else forgotten,
and I cannot see into your willful heart so rotten.
I ignore the other voice and his constant reprimands.

Do you think of me the same?

Is it too late to turn away, to somehow escape and run free?
Breath hitches in my throat at your own steely gaze--
you know what I am thinking, though to me you're just a maze,
and I am left to wonder at your integrity.
Still--Still!--you’re there both night and day,
and thoughts of returning home are distant memory.
All that’s left are dreams all fraught with you and me,
and there it is, I fear, that you will always stay.

Do you think of me the same?
End Notes:
I entertain any and all thoughts!
