Stories

Broom Cupboard Confessions by cto10121

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Harry Potter learns how his parents got together...in the most unexpected way. Can't say anymore for fear of giving too much away. A bit of AU, ( all right, I'll admit it, a lot) and the sexual situations warnings for a little bit of kissing. The rating is for sexual innuendos. R&R!!

The Horcrux by nerd2006

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Post-HBP. Prequel to 'Recovery'. Harry takes a chance and finds one of the Horcruxes.

Midnight by Everlasting

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: It's midnight, and neither Remus nor Sirius can get the faintest bit of sleep. Everyone else in their dorm is sound asleep though, and the sky outside is beautiful. So what do they do on this perfect midnight? Slightly fluffy. One-shot. Slash SB/RL. My first real HP fanfic.

Take What You Can Get by Gin_Drinka

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Voldemort is dead, and the Death Eaters are fleeing. Severus Snape runs from an ending. And to escape he must bring back a face he buried a long time ago.

She had looked just like a little girl. He knew she didn't understand. But he would take what he could get.

I'm Gin_Drinka of Hufflepuff writing for the June one-shot Challenge.

Both Sides of the Story by phoenix_fire

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: “How could I explain? You would not want to hear.
You wouldn’t listen if I talked anyway,
For you were too weighed down by your own fear.”
Sarah McLachlan, Home

Ever wonder how Bellatrix Lestrange earned her hatred for Muggles, or why Severus Snape is so nasty all the time? Here is a chance to see one humble readers imaginings of the whys behind the baddies of Harry Potter.

As with everything in life, one perspective is not enough. We always need to hear both sides of every story.

The House by Ronsgrl95

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Harry is forced to remember his past when he approaches a very familiar house.

H/G Romance and Angst

Last Moments of Insanity by Hermione_Rocks

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: They’re coming for me. I know they are; I know they’re sending them for me right now. I’ve gotten used to the things after all those years in Azkaban, but at least in Azkaban the walls of my cell protected me from them. Now there is nothing protecting me, now there is no barrier between us, now nothing is stopping those dementors from swooping down upon me and sucking away my soul in less than a blink of an eye.

Barty Crouch Jr. is bound to the floor, waiting for the dementors to come. Struggling to remain concious, he tries to fight off the dementors, wildly summoning a memory from his youth. . . . Slightly AU because Crouch was actually unconcious in GoF, when the dementors came for him. Mental Disorders warning just to be safe.

Written originally for the June One-Shot challenge.

In Adversity We Know Our Friends by Wise Owl

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: This story is about Harry's struggle...his struggle to obey his mind when his heart is screaming out in protest .

It's about Ginny's secrets, her aching heart, and where her loyalty lies.
Mainly, this story is about friends, those you can trust and those who can't trust you.

Reviews are fun and easy! So don't shy away from stating your opinion...trust me, it feeds the fire so I'm not left out in the cold! ;)

Harry Potter and the Last Resort by hermioneronharry

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •

Dark Humor.

Twitters in the Night by Hermione_Rocks

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Her spine curled against the base of the tree, she watched the bird perched on a branch above her head carefully. Its bright yellow feathers seemed to glow slightly in the dark, its small beak opening and closing in endless chatter.

“Silencio,” she whispered, aiming her wand at the little creature. The bird’s twitters quieted, its beak parting in silence now. She needed the thing muted for the next step, the more important one, otherwise neighbors may come intrude. And that was the last thing she wanted.

“Crucio.”

Stop Me From Trying by the fetal positon

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Sirius was always right, no matter what. This time shouldn't have been any different; but a memory, just one memory, was enough to stop him from reaching the land across from the treacherous island of Azkaban.

A Warning Unheeded by Phia Phoenix

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Have you ever wondered about the history of the Gaunts? Or about Sybill Trelawney's great-grandmother Cassandra? Or that, possibly, the two families were once interlinked? No, I thought not.

But they were.

And though the story has been lost in the mists of time, one Seer's voice can still be heard, for those who choose to listen, as she tells of the beginning of the evil, and a warning unheeded.

Recklessness by Hypatia

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •

Absence is Constant by forsakenphoenix

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •

So That the Other May Live by evanesco123

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: It's not always something happy and easy, love, but rather, can often times be terrifying and dangerous. The stolen kisses and whispered words are all well and good, but to be willing to set aside such a precious and fragile thing as one's own life just for the smallest sliver of hope that the other may survive to live another day... ah, well now, therein lies the true magic of love.

Muggle Studies--The Muggle Way by I_LUV_MOONY

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: The Marauders are in third year Muggle Studies, with their latest class project sneaking up on them: ballroom. "Who cares?" they think, "Hardly any Muggles even dance; they don't even like it that much. Why should we have to deal with it?" Professor Richardt has other ideas.

I recently read back through this and cringed at how poorly written it was. I'm going to finish the sequel, and then this story is getting completely revamped. Thanks to all who put up with the poor writing and complimented it!

Like His Brother by megan_lupin

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: “One man could be seen still walking along the rough streets, his shoulders hunched and head bowed against the weather, though other than these slight actions, the tall, black-haired man gave no evidence that he felt the storm.”

A storm, a long-locked room, and memories help a young man come to a decision.
