City of Angels by FullofLife

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: When James Potter II's Uncle Zelder is killed in a tragic accident and James is suddenly and unexpectedly drafted into a war, there's seems only one thing to do: run away with his Uncle's latest invention and never return.

Of course, when said invention is a super-upgraded Time Turner and when one is blessed with a gaggle of siblings and cousins possessing excess determination, you can't expect things to go according to plan.

Before James knows what has happened he finds himself in a past that never should have existed - with Albus, Lily, Rose and Hugo along for the ride.

Next-Gen Fic. Rating for later chapters, and only as a cautionary measure at the moment.

The Unexplained Files by Ron x Hermione

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: After the last battle Ron and Hermione started a relationship. But Ron's love for being an Auror soon surpasses Hermione, and they break it off, both heartbroken and discouraged. Hermione’s love for books has obscured her mind, and she soon discovers a tiny shop on the outskirts of Muggle London to establish a bookstore, a place where she can wield her own adoration as well as assist others in theirs. She leaves the magical world and all of the friends she's made behind with it. She hides her wand in a box under bed, away from any harm or pretense to use it. Fairly soon, what had started out as a shop that many thought would go out of business in weeks had established itself as a very worthwhile enterprise. Mark, Hermione's boyfriend, is constantly toying with her nerves, his abusive and whiny persona taking its toll on her life.

On a very important date in Muggle London, Mark proposes to Hermione under the oddest of circumstances, and Hermione glimpses Ron for the first time in nearly a year. Her love for him causes Mark to be outraged, and they leave the scene they have made in shambles.

Ron and Hermione are soon dating again, now that their lives have settled and their jobs are at ease. All is going well until Hermione begins to show signs of sickness. Bruises are forming on her body and she can't make out where they came from. She dismisses them and blames it on clumsiness, but the headaches become worse and worse until one day she finally collapses and is taken to St. Mungo's.

Hermione's illness turns out to be worse than anyone could have ever imagined. Will she be able to overcome it, and will true love prevail it all?

This is a new and improved, revamped version of this story. It has been rewritten halfway in compliance with DH. The older story, with all of its lovely reviews, have been regretfully deleted to make room for this version. Enjoy!

Pushit by MaiaMadness

Rated: Professors •
Summary:
“Saw that gap again today as you were begging me to stay. Managed to push myself away, and you as well, my dear. You still love me and you push it on me. And I’m slipping back into the gap again. I feel alive when you touch me. I feel alive when you hold me down. If, when I say I might fade like a sigh if I stay, you minimise my movement anyway, I must persuade you another way. Pushing and shoving and pushing me… There’s no love in fear!”

This wasn’t the way it was meant to be, staring at each other over pieces of broken glass, the air heavy with the echo of angry words and endless regret. This wasn’t how it was meant to be…

Rated: Professors •
Summary: You’re holding her heart in the palm of your hand. Squeeze it slightly, and you’re killing her; let it go, and she’s lost all hope.

For Sirius and Clarimonde, it wasn’t cliché the day they ran into each other, it was fate. What becomes more surprising is that Clarimonde is a Slytherin, something which Sirius has detested since his emergence in the world. But something kept them together, and it wasn’t just their hate for Regulus that bound them together, it was what they knew, and truly (and in a cliché sense), the love they felt for each other. But what happens when the Slytherin side of Clarimonde shows through? What happens when Sirius bashes everything her house stands for? What happens when Clarimonde is being taunted by demons that won’t let her go? Can their relationship last even when she thinks its cliché, and he thinks its fate, even though it has transpired into this crazy little thing called love?

Killing Me Softly by wewillmissyou

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Its hard to wait around for something that may never happen but it's even hard to give it up, especially when it's everything you've ever wanted.

*~*

Mary is in love with James. James is in love with Lily. Why do these two simple facts kill Mary inside? Maybe it's because James is her best mate or because he is the only one that really knows her. Or maybe it's just the fact that she isn't the girl for him when she is positive he is the guy for her.

I would like to thank butter_beer_drinker for the title, laceymoibella for the chapter title, ix3thehpseries for being my advanced reader, MistressOfTime for helping me in the Excerpts page, Mistletoe and xhalyleexblackx for help in the character clinic with Mary. And of course last but not least my lovely beta, who also helped in the character clinic, th_poet14, for whom without this story could not be possible.

Rating is for later chapters.

Excerpt From Chapter Two: Running
In my last class of the day, which was Ancient Runes, Amos Diggory took me aside after class and asked me to go on a walk with him.

Amos and I are mates with reservations. He sits next to me in most of my classes and he's a good for a laugh. We just aren't close. Mostly due to me. I may complain about having no friends, but I do it to myself. I think we all sabotage ourselves, in the end.

Anyways, hanging around with each other after class seemed like a violation of our timid relationship. I did want to, I guess. Nevertheless, I was nervous about accepting the invitation. What if it meant something more, than just a simple walk between friends? I'm not very fanicable so that most likely wasn't the case. Still, the chance for a misunderstanding to occur was one I wasn't willing to take.

I don't date. Mostly because I'm way too hung up on James to consider someone else in that way. Partly because I will never be able to trust a man I don't know inside and out. I'm not exactly worth chasing, either. Lily or Isabella merit chasing after. The two or three blokes that asked me out didn't really care that I said no. They weren't even close to being persistent. With good grace, they moved on.

While I was having this major internal dilemma in my head, Amos was patiently waiting for my reply.
