my own fault
a trRain waits for me
at king's cross
i will not take
it
hurts to watch him
struggle; it is my
own fault. if i had
a chance to
speak i would
not: he cannot
arrive. he mustn't.
he must
come, meet the
End but
not shake hands with
it. i sit,
nothing surrounding,
but i listen
for everything
is My own
fault, his pain and life.
he arrives:
i speak Of
mistakes, i have many.
things he asks
make me
weep, make
me wonder
if what i did was
right; everything
is my own
fault. he:
asks me why
i say it
was foR
greater good, but
was it?
he leaves. i am
alone. and i
will Stay a bit
longer; i will
watch. but
then i will
leave.
a train is coming
to takE me from
my own
fault.
A/N: In case you didn't know, it's Dumbledore in the time span from when he dies to the chapter "King's Cross" in DH. Or just before the end of the latter. It doesn't really matter, heck, he could be waiting for an actual train and not just a metaphorical one. Tell me what you think.
Ooh, and if you pick up on something I like to do in poetry, tell me!
