Blind Weakness
The thick green mists of greed
Obscure all in sight,
Settling harshly onto
The creases of blind eyes,
Permeating, coursing
Into their very lost souls,
Coming to reign over every
Gentle, pleasing emotion.
His spirit- his essence-
Becomes tethered to the fools
He leads onward,
Their humanity succumbing to all
Glutton, false notions,
Littering traces of their
Sick and putrefying deeds.
Cowards.
Hypocrites.
They refuse to lift the filthy film
From their once innocent eyes,
For they fear his power,
Respect his evil...
They allow themselves
To be led astray
Into horrific abysses and ancient hells
That scorch their souls
And flame their conscience-
And then they can never return.
