Panacea by deanine

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: A post-Hogwarts oneshot with Harry and Luna in an established relationship. It's a little fluffy and a little funny. This is a guilty pleasure, that will leave you with a sweet taste in your mouth. Follows Disengaged.

Awww! (I know you get this one a lot, but I couldn't help it)
What can I possibly do to compel you to write more Harry/Luna?
I can write you a poem. Do you like poems?
It can be about anything you want.
And I mean -anything- , if you want a thriller told from the point of a brasilian four-eyes (amphibian, not near-sighted person) - just say the word and I'll do it.
I also draw, though drawing doesn't come quite as effortlessly as poems do,
just for you.. just this this once - I'll set out, I'll persevere and I'll surmount.
Name your price, I'll be waiting =)

Ghosts by Wings of the Morning

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Andromeda takes a walk through the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black after her husband dies, finding nothing more than dust, nostalgia, and a faded blue dress. And in the end, it all boils down to one question: Do you believe in ghosts? Oneshot.

Why oh why do I feel like crying?
I guess we all think of the loves we lost, the friends we no longer keep in toch with, the way we were as children or in our youth.
It's an amazing story, it really is - it should have won a contest of some sort or garnered applause from an enormous audience - I mean it.
It's quite a lot easier to cause your reader to laugh themselves silly or swoon in endearment, but to make them remember strange dreams from decades ago and people who will never be who they once were - as you did to me, is and entirely different can of worms.
Most writers are quick to describe Andromeda's animosity towards her sisters, but indeed, there could have been a part of her that simply remembered the way the were as kids, good or bad or neutral - as children tend to be, because no one really ever forgets their childhood.
Thank you.

Not Only a Granger by ferporcel

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: [WIP] Post-HBP. Eleven years after the end of the war, Hermione finds herself in a delicate situation when her only son leaves for Hogwarts and threatens her most guarded secret: that he’s not only a Granger, but also a Snape! SS/HG.

You know, I really like it! It's descriptive and.. endearing. And I'm a sucker for both details and cute things (namely, kiddies).
I will read on and I hope you finish the series sooner or later.
(that is, if you haven't yet)

You aren't being lied to - indeed, you're a very talented writer. Whether or not you're brasilian (brasilian people rule, brasilian female engineers rule even more) your grasp of english is incredible - save for a few grammatical slip-ups, but I'd love to help you with those. I volunteer to be your beta for the upcoming chapters as well as correcting the few missteps in completed chapters - if you so deem beneficial.

I can't wait for new chapters of your fic!

Emerald in the Fire by rita_skeeter

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Doubt thou the stars are fire,
doubt the sun doth move.
Doubt truth to be a liar,
but never doubt thy love. Hamlet, Shakespeare.

Lily Evans and Severus Snape lived in two different worlds; they had two separate lives. How is it then that they managed to find love in the dark?

Many students were still under it's effects, even after it should have worn off. Hogwarts' most famous pranksters should have know better than to mess with Hermione Granger. Dedicated to Poultrygeist who presented to me an unforgettable plot bunny.

Great story! You made me seriously loathe Ron Weasley just now.
And that's saying something - in the books, he's just a couple of good deeds' short of a Mary Sue and you quite belieavably pointed out how he, without acting OOC at all, could have hurt and belittled one of my favorite characters into tears and dejection.
bravo!

that is so sweet.. very colorable too!
Anyone to posess the cruelty, the hubris and the cowardice of Draco Malfoy and renounce it all earnestly and remorsefully years later is a sight to behold. One becoming sensitive and sweet to boot is a sight to behold even moreso.
Keep at it?

I like it.

Author's Response: You won\'t be sorry. There\'s some additional chapters earlier on, too, that you\'ll get to see.

Let sleeping wolves lie by Foxy Wolf

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: A poem of Remus Lupin's first love at Hogwarts. James and Sirius, being the true Marauders they are, tease him about his feelings. Remus ignores his friends and enjoys the secret rendevouzs but knows he'll always be doomed when it comes to loving someone else.

I am absolutely in love with this poem,
I write poetry too (I write far too much of it, actually), but I can sleep and dream that it would be even a smidgen as good as yours.
This poem deserves every honor it's ever been given and my pity goes to the honor givers, who hadn't the luck to know it exists.
Thank you,

Author's Response: Thank you very much for those kind words and that wonderful review :-)

this chapter is sad in a way..

but I'm really glad that Sirius is back and safe and every moment our newly minted couple walks trading one-liners is simply priceless.
Keep us posted? Please..?
And don't take my nitpicking the wrong way - I think you're a great writer and I don't want your gems to be tarnished by something as silly as erroneous grammar and spelling.

Author's Response: haha aw, no really thank you so much! i really really appreciated it! and i\'m so glad that you like the one-liners. those are definitely the most fun to write :D once again, thanks for being an active reader!
