Hi there! I have fourteen stories up, and my favorites are Ripping at the Seams, At the Bus Stop, and Worms for Teeth. Thanks for stopping by!
Simpsons reference...Well, in the Simpsons, this character named Bart's catch phrase is "eat my shorts." In one episode, they do a spoof on Amadeus, that movie about Mozart's life, and in the Simpsons spoof Bart is Mozart. On his death bed, he says "eat my shorts" and then his head lolls back, much as George's does in this.
Author's Response: I LOOOOOOVE AMADEUS. That movie is adorable, and it stars Tom Hulce, who voiced Quasimodo in \"Hunchback of Notre Dame.\"
Okay, I had no idea that was from the Simpsons. I\'ve just always thought \"Eat my shorts\" was a funny line ever since I saw an Australian goblin say it in a weird flash movie spoof of \"Lord of the Rings\" that I saw when I was twelve, and I\'ve tried to use it as much as possible. THAT IS ONE MIGHTY STRANGE COINCIDENCE.
Y'know, I don't usually like rhyming poems, but this (and Shakespeare) are exceptions! Nice! I like it. The part about being a coward is kinda surprising in a cool way. What I'm interested in: it has a lyric quality--you should totally turn it into a SONG!! Yess!! That would be awesome. I'll hum something in the shower and get back to you on that one.
Author's Response: Thank you! I\'m extraordinarily honoured you\'d compare me to Shakespeare . . . though I personally don\'t think I\'m that good.
It\'s funny you should mention a song, because pretty much all of my poems begin as songs. This one was originally a song, but then I added the ending, and it became a poem. : )
This was really nice! The title is a great attention-getter, haha, but the rest of the story does not disappoint. I like how you manage to convey so much of Peter's character through such a short one-shot. Even if I despise that little *&%@! for what he did, I still feel a tendril of pity stirring in my heart.

Oh...this is excellent! I'm really interested to see more. And I have NEVER seen a Severus/Remus pairing before. Props for originality!
Author's Response: Thanks! Unfortunately, I\'ve recently been suffering from writer\'s block and a truckload of schoolwork, so I don\'t know when the first chapter will be finished. I\'ll try to make that as soon possible, though.
I have read tons of fanfic here at Mugglenet, but this is my first Hermione/Ron (strange, I know). I have to say...quite good! :) I love the whole opposites-attract thing (like Lily and James), and you're doing a good job with this. Keep it up!
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the comment! And it\'s not strange at all that this is your first Ron/Hermione fic. At first, all I read were Hermione/Draco fics, and I ended up writing this one. Thanks again! :D
What an interesting idea for a poem! Way to go! I never realized until just now that we never hear anything about what it's like for the Grangers with their daughter as the best friend of HARRY POTTER and caught in this war and everything and then moving to Australia and everything; they're kind of minor characters, though oddly so, since Hermione is so major. You have a very intriguing/pleasing/interesting/enjoyable/(fill in adjective of your choice) style of poetry.
Author's Response: Why, thanks. I recommend reading a fic called \'Australia\' (not sure who it\'s by; it\'s in my favourites) if you want more of a smimilar theme. It\'s the minor characters that are always fun to explore, I find.
Thank you!
Oh my God! I loved it!! I've read so many post-Fred stories about how George has to cope (all of which are unbelievably tragic, it goes without saying), but this is a cut above. I really really enjoyed it and am adding it to my favorite stories list. :)
Author's Response: Thank you, thank you, thank you! I\'ve read many of those fics, probably some of the same ones, and I was just so unsatisfied with some of them, I felt I should right my own. Although I highly recomend For Bitter or Worse by Kerichi, it\'s one of the best post-Fred stories about George out there.
Nice! Exceedingly well written, and you managed to make a very nice story out of a seemingly small incident. I like the frequent flashbacks; they seem natural, like when someone really is going through life and something reminds them of the past. Loved it!
Author's Response: Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you!
This was sad. Really, really sad. So um...good job? It would have sucked so much if Harry had died, most of all for Ginny. I would have gone into a depression! Are you going to continue this? It'll make me more sad, cuz Harry won't be coming back...! *weeps softly*
Author's Response: Thanks! For some reason, I really wanted Harry to die, so I tend to kill him off . . . a LOT.
I think I\'m just going to leave this as it stands, though, because I kind of like the way I ended it. But who knows? Maybe in the future I\'ll write a companion one-shot, or something. (Probably not, though.)
Oooh, so good! *wipes away tear that would undoubtably trickling down her cheek, were she not in a public area* Loved it! So sad! I never thought about James thinking about death, but of course he must have-- I mean, everyone does, and we aren't in mortal danger, but James and his family are being hunted by Voldemort, so of course it's on his mind most of the time. Well done.
Author's Response: Wow, you have been reviewing a lot of my stuff lately, haven\'t you? In any case, it certainly is appreciated.
James is human just like the rest of us. It seemed only fitting that it would have been on his mind.
Thanks again!

Aww...this is so cute! Kudos for originality-- I have never ever seen this pairing. Also, OMG!! LOVED THE WICKED REFERENCE!! As a 100% Wicked fanatic, I saw the title and knew I had to read it.
GLINDA:"That's why...I couldn't be happier. Simply...couldn't be happier. Because happiness is what happens when all your dreams come true." I could go on and on... *jams iPod into her ears* You know, it kinda fits with the way the song goes, too. Because Glinda's kinda sad and so is Feiro, because they don't really want to marry each other, just like Lucius and Andromeda don't.
Author's Response: I\'m glad you enjoyed, this is my favorite pairing, hands down. :D And I love how this is attracting Wicked fans, LOL -- that truly wasn\'t my intention by having the title reference it. I just thought that that line fit perfectly for the title! Thank you for reviewing!
Loved it!!! Ooh you are devilish... that was just awesome. Creepy-licious! Freak-tastic! Insane-osity! Just one thing: If you are trying to be accurate with canon, he wouldn't be Peverell, because, as Hermione tells us in DH, that's a name that is "extinct in the male line." But sometimes canon's fun to break...
Author's Response: Ha, thanks. I love being called evil.
Well, if you didn\'t notice, this was set a while back. Probably 1870s or so. Which would mean that when Hermione was telling us, the Peverell line WAS extinct in the male line. It died with Nolan.

Hmmm... I'm a little confused... Does this mean Lily's going to be with him as a friend, or as MORE than a friend? She said "Potter" made her feel too perfect...is she ditching him in the afterlife? Sorry I'm just a little confused. Nice idea for a story, though. That chapter "The Prince's Tale" in DH made me cry. I always hope that somewhere outside of space and time Lily and Snape made amends. :)
Oh...how sad. I love the Severus/Lily relationship. It's just so heartbreaking. Well done. Well written, and I can totally imagine Sev hating Amortentia alone--salamander eyes, sulfur--fine; just don't bring up memories of the past and her. Oh so sad.......
Author's Response: Hah, yeah, this one is a bit sad. Poor Sev! Thanks for reviewing! =)
Loved it! Excellent. Snape's one of my favorite characters of all, maybe my all-time favorite, so I especially love Snape fanfics! :)
Ooh... this does raise a lot of questions! I think it'd be cute if the children from opposing families got together, made new ties... Why was Ron determined to set Rose against Scorpius from the get go? *glares at Ron*
Author's Response: *glares along with Rhi* XD
Thanks so much! (I\'ll take care to kick Ron in the upcoming chapters for you =D)
Wow!! You need to write more ASAP!! This is excellent! What a great idea! I like that Snape (Severn) gets more of a chance this time... personally I was really sad in "A Prince's Tale" when he gets sorted into Slytherin and watches the love of his life get sorted into the opposing house... I'm very excited to see what comes next!
Author's Response: Thank you! And I definitely agree about Snape/Severn getting a second chance with Lily/Lillian, because that\'s the saddest part about the whole series! It worked out nicely that the Sorting Hat could be \"wrong\" sometimes or be able to put people in different houses. I\'m hoping to have the next chapter in the queue soon! Thanks again Rhi! :) ~GG
OMGGGGGGG I think I actually cried when I read Sev's line. YESS!!!!! FINALLY!!!!! THANK YOU!!!! Sev deserves it soooo much. I can't believe it. I am so happy. I feel a bit sad for Jamie (he did get her the first time around, after all), but I don't know...no clear answers...My prediction: L&S are going to break up and Lillian will return to Jamie...? Meh, whatever happens, that kiss was the highlight of my day. :)
Author's Response: Aww. :) I agree with you -- Severus(Severn, w/e) has waited a long time for that!. It is pretty bittersweet though, as you pointed out, because of Jamie. Unforunately someone has to lose in order for the other two to win, so.... You\'ll just have to wait and find out what happens in the coming chapters. :) Thanks for reviewing, Rhi! ~GG
YAY!!! I'm so happy you updated sooo fast! Like all the preceding chapters, this was well-written and so good...and leaves me so dissatisfied and wanting more! I adore this story. :)
Author's Response: *beams* I was really surprised Julie modded this for me so quickly! I submitted it right after chapter 4 because I expected it to sit in the queue for 11 days like the last chapter! But lucky you. :) I\'m glad you liked it. This chapter was really easy for me to write actually because I just got so into it. The pace is really picking up now in the story as the three kids are delving more into this mystery of who they really are. I haven\'t written chapter 6 yet but I\'m hoping to start on it soon. Thanks for being this Second Chances\' biggest fan. hehe. Tata!
~Ashley
Oh. My. God. I literally shrieked when I saw you'd updated this. I love it so much! And this chapter was wonderful. Please update again soon! It's so great. This was my favourite chapter so far. :)
~Rhiannon
Author's Response: Wow -- I\'m surprised that anyone is still reading this story!! *hugs teh Rhiannon* lol it\'s just been such a long time since I updated I thought surely the few loyal readers I had would have moved on. Anyway thanks for sticking around! I\'m glad you like the chapter. :) It was like pulling teeth at first and went through some major revisions, so I\'m happy to hear that the hard work paid off. I\'m working on chapter 5 currently and hopefully it will be submitted sometime next week.
