Something to Keep You Warm by Slian Martreb

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Different version of my ideal 'first kiss' scenario, which is part of the 'Legion of LSPM's joint fic. The puppies are out of school at this point, and living in Sirius's flat. And Sirius HATES to be cold. A/N: This was written as a gift for someone on LJ for being a faithful reader/reviewer. First chapter is the original version, no prose or narrative. Second chapter will be exactly the same, but with prose. I'll be curious to see which is preferred....

YAY!! Right on the favourites list. Great job! Interestingly done! I think I liked the plain dialogue best, because it leaves it up for the imagination, but the prose afterwards explained a bit. YAY!!

Snape's Folly by Dumbledore Prince

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Post-HBP one-shot. Only two days after Dumbledore’s murder, Severus Snape is sitting in Number Thirteen, Spinner’s End. He is thinking about what he has done, and what rewards he has got. Little does Snape know about the vicious trap he has walked into, and the price he has to pay in return …

Hmmm....this is interesting. Was this written pre-DH or did you choose to ignore DH? Oh well. I've always wondered about the dynamic between Snape and his mother.

Aww...this is good. I like that you incorporated all three girls. Nice.

A Furry Little Problem by Vindictus Viridian

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: The young and bored Sirius Black amuses himself with the top hat in his closet, inspired by the nefarious influence of Muggle television. **Warning -- natural rabbit behaviour within**

YAY!! This was hilarious!! What an original plot bunny, tee hee. I love Sirius and I thought he was perfectly in character here, which is really nice. Plus, the writing was impeccable. Excellent!

My Sister's Eyes by RhondaWeasley

A Few Moments Granted by cor_leonis

Rated: Professors •
Summary: Before Voldemort ripped them apart and banished their friendship to be something merely relived through pensieve, Sirius and James had shared a special bond. And sometimes, that sort of bond runs deeper than it seems. SB/JP slash

Wow, I loved this!!! To start, Sirius/James is my OTP, but I've only ever seen three other fics with this pairing (one of which was written on my request). It always makes me smile when I get to read it. :) What I love especially about this fic is the perfect characterization and original plot (James in heat? What a great idea!!!). James and Sirius were right down to canon, and their interactions were spot-on, which made me want to hug you, because so often they're misconstrued, and it makes me sad when they are. The last two lines are so sweet, a perfect ending, and the right sentiment. Requited love is one of the worst things in the world... poor Sirius. And on top of everything, your writing was excellent! I loved your stunning descriptions of the Black Forest in autumn; they painted such a beautiful portrait in my mind. Your writing was just polished and touching--perfect. What a gem!

His Eyes Were Black by SiriuslyMental

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Was he always evil? A little something I wrote in my spare time about Severus Snape.
Reviewer: Rhi for HP Signed
Date: 02/27/08 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Wow, this was great!!!!!! It has been so long that I've read a fic where Snape is 100% in-character, and it's so refreshing!! Thank you!! Right to the favourites!!

It Matches Your Eyes by bittersweet_lullaby

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: I met her on the train ride to Hogwarts. We both got sorted into Hufflepuff, we take all the same classes, and we're best friends. But I've started to feel a little more for Hannah Abbott.

Two friends, both female. One life-changing infatuation that quickly turns to the greatest thing in the world: love. Susan Bones reflects on her life and explores the what-ifs of her relationship with Hannah Abbott.

Oh...this is cute. A very sweet (if bittersweet) little one-shot. Good work!

Friendship, Love, and Pranks: The Story of the Marauders by Padfoot is MINE

Rated: Professors •
Summary: Chapter Thirty-Eight in Queue!

They say someday your life will flash before your eyes...

The Marauders. The name alone strikes fear into the hearts of teachers and makes girls swoon. Watch as Sirius, who has always kept his emotions locked up in a box, finally finds the girl that has its key; as James masterminds everything, except how to win over the girl of his dreams; as Remus finds love, but learns it's just as hard to keep it going, and as Peter tries to prove he's just as good as the other four, no matter what he has to do. They're unstoppable, and it's safe to say that once they're gone, Hogwarts will never be the same again.

...let's make ours worth watching.

Well, I never read the original first chapter but this is quite good! On to Chapter 1 now!

P.S. It's spelled Adriana. ;)

Author's Response: Heh, thanks. I know how it\'s spelled, though, I just like my way better.

Revelation I:I by Ada Kensington

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: While on the hunt for the Ravenclaw Horcrux, in a secluded glade in the Forbidden Forest, Harry Potter has a chat with Death.

Date: 05/11/08 Title: Chapter 1: Revelation I:I

This is a very unique and strange--but in a good way--fic. I love it. Right on the Favourites list. I really liked how you chose to portray Death, rather than the somewhat stereotypical grim reaper persona.

Harry Potter and The Process of writing Fan Fiction by Purplemage

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: A hilarious ride inside an author's head as he tries to write the best fic ever written by a fan. Unfortunatley, things don't go as planned and the author must get himself out of a sticky situation before he ruins the joy of writing Fan Fiction forever.

WARNING: Random and Bizarre humor ahead.

Wow, that was insane! Lol, though!!! LOL!!! OMG I can't breathe I'm dying with laughter....Please tell me you don't really go through that every time!!! lolll :)

P.S. Love the puns-- I'm known among my friends for saying way corny puns all the frickin time!

Brave Little Cabbage by Vindictus Viridian

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Simone Cheney has a moral dilemma to solve: explain the horrible mess, or betray her dearest friend?
Reviewer: Rhi for HP Signed
Date: 02/24/08 Title: Chapter 1: Peeves

This is an excellent little one-shot! First let me say, yay for the femmeslash, that seems to be the loneliest little category on Mugglenet. Second...this was nice! This is a very unusual story line, but fits in with canon perfectly! I can just see Minerva as a little hellraiser in her youth! :)
P.S. Loved the title. :)

Eggs and Soldiers by SiriuslyMental

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: No one could believe Oswel would be mental enough to go on an actual killing spree. No one could believe five people had died on one day. They're all busy sobbing and blaming themselves, but I'm clever enough to know it's Oswel's fault. It's Oswel's fault, and I don't care.

Date: 05/10/08 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1

*speechless* I really don't know what to say....it's just....wow....

But, maybe I'm just really daft (it's quite possible; it's four AM), but does Snape really not care? I honestly can't tell. I'm rather confused. But this piece was incredible. Right on the Favourites.

Author's Response: I'd like to think that Snape, as a young boy, would have put every ounce of mental strength he had into trying not to care. And a part of him achieves this effect; he has managed to force the majority of his mentality into mild annoyance and disdain for what has happened. By holding himself back from what, for most people, would be an automatic emotional response, he has made himself calm, cool and unaffected. He doesn't put much stock into displays of emotion and would consider them a weakness, so he is doing his best to try and not feel anything by continuously disdaining, insulting, and assuring that he feels nothing. Though, by the end, the events and his repression of his natural emotions have taken their toll on him, and he finds that he can't bear to remain in the hall, where emotions are so high. So, he finds an excuse and launches himself out of the situation.

Bohemian Rhapsody by MaiaMadness

Rated: Professors •
Summary: “Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? Caught in a land slide, no escape from reality. Open your eyes, look up to the skies and see… Anywhere the wind blows doesn't really matter to me.”

Draco Malfoy has killed a man – a fellow Death Eater. Running away from the Death Eaters who are sure to pursue him, he runs into a weary Harry Potter, and takes a risk which may prove fatal.

Last story in my Night at the Opera series.

Oh...so sad!!!!! This is really quite emotional. Puts a more serious side onto Chap. 1. Very nice. You really have to feel bad for Draco.

Author's Response: Yes, poor Draco... Learns to love, and then he dies. I really was always most comfortable with killing him off... But I do have a version where he survives, if you\'re interested. Too Much Love Will Kill You. It\'s a WIP. :) Thanks again for reviewing!

OMG!! I'm sorry, but this was hilarious! I'm glad I was home alone at the time, because I was laughing my head off the whole time. My favourite lines:

I show you mine, you show me yours.
(Oooh, innuendo, no?)

“You’re in no state to rape anyone,” said Harry dryly. (LOL!!)

“Do you make a habit of kissing your enemies?” asked Harry.
“Only the good-looking ones,” Draco replied, his grey eyes shining in the semi-darkness. (Again, LOL!!)

“What the hell do you think you’re doing, Potter?” he growled as Harry began removing his trousers. “Don’t you know I’m always on top?” (Okay, this one made me like die, it was so hilarious!)

Still, the ending was sad. I like this story, though. It's good slash. And good slash is like an ice cream sundae. Yum. A very good little one-night stand. :)

Author's Response: Well, it\'s certainly an original reaction. I don\'t think anyone else has ever told me they laughed at this. Then again, the humour is in there intentionally, so it\'s nice to have someon pick up on it. I follow the principles of Shakespear. Always add some humour to your tragedies, or the audience will be most unhappy. :) Thanks for reviewing, and I\'m glad you liked it!

Last Day of My Life by Rhiannon

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Harry realizes that you can't be sure of what will happen tomorrow. Songfic to Phil Vasser's "Last Day of My Life".

Date: 01/20/08 Title: Chapter 1: Last Day of My Life

Hey! I loved it! Kinda sad...but hopeful. That's the best kind. Harry/Draco is definitely my favorite slash pairing, and one of my favorite pairings period. They just go so well together. :)

P.S. My name is Rhiannon. Just curious...why did you choose your pen name to be Rhiannon?

Pride vs. Prejudice by bittersweet_lullaby

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: I remember the first day I saw them together. It was sixth year, before Mum and Dad came and got Padma and me. I was walking up to the Shrieking Shack and I saw them, pressed up against a tree, kissing.

Two sisters; one too proud, one too prejudiced.

Parvati Patil reflects on her sister's girlfriend and how it affected not only her sister's life, but her own as well.

Date: 02/17/08 Title: Chapter 1: Pride vs. Prejudice

That was short and sweet. It's nice the two girls finally resolve their issues, though it's sad Padma's parents don't accept her-- though I guess that's reality in many sad cases.

The Dark Lord's Blog by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: What does Lord Voldemort do in his spare time? Well, that's an excellent question. Who would have known that the Dark Lord has a blog? (He also has a loyal following of readers, most of whom are Death Eaters and who post their comments.) Voldemort dispenses advice on everything from murder methods to germ protection to Power Rangers to shoes, and gives an account of the life of an evil overlord. But is he posting too much personal information online? And will Harry read it and find out more about the Dark Lord than Voldemort ever intended? Read and see.

WARNING: Extremely OOC behaviour from almost all.

So, really, we’re all men of our word, except for x_voldy_is_teh_hotness_x, who is, in fact, a woman.
OMG!!! *rolling on her back clutching her sides unable to breathe or think or function as she lets the unbelievable hilarity settle over her dying form* SO HILARIOUS!!!!!!!! I loved all the references, especially the last line, because that's my fav monty python sketch EVER!!!! "And here's Fred on the side of the house. And here's Fred on the back of the house. And here's Fred on the front of th house, and you can just barely see the side of the house. And here's Fred with the Spanish Inquisition!" "The Spanish Inquisiton?! I didn't expect them!" "NOBODY EXPECTS THE SPANISH INQUISITION!!!" Now I think I'm going to go put on some Beattles...

Author's Response: Hahahaha, thank you so much! And thanks you very, very much for posting the Monty Python quotes, because those always make my day. We seem to share quiiite a few interests, don\'t we?

E-Crucio!!! Lol!!! I love the "daddylusciouslocks" things, because my friend and i have this ongoing inside joke about "luscious" and his hair. :)

Author's Response: Fnee fnee fnee, thank you! (I don\'t know where that weird laugh of mine came from...) I love to call him \"Daddy Luscious Locks.\" I actually dressed up as him for the DH release, and I was absolutely THRILLED when a total stranger ran up to me shouting, \"DADDY LUSCIOUS LOCKS!\" (Yes, I\'m a girl... Lucius kinda looks like one, though, so I figured it was an ideal costume...)
