I loved this! This has gone straight to my favorite stories list!!! YAY!!! But... am I totally missing something here, or far too innocent or something of the like... I totally don't get the thing with the hat! I'm terrible! Like my friend Ghita, lol, who didn't get the *cough* "reference" in Shakespeare, even after we discussed it in class... we laughed at her for days.

Oh wow, this was so amazing! So sad, too, with the Percy element. I would have been heartbroken if JKR had killed Percy off in DH without the chance to redeem himself, or get forgiveness. Another thing I like in your story is the ending part-- did you intend it this way, but in my mind it's not clear whether or not Harry made it through. I also like the Through the Looking Glass element. Honestly, that and Alice and Wonderland were my favorite childhood books.

So, I spoofed the entire album "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" by the Beatles, to be performed by your favourite Dark Lord and choice Death Eaters in the style of a rock opera. Eat your lonely hearts out!
I don't recommend this fic to those who are not at all familiar with the Beatles.

Yes!!! :) As a Beatles devotee, I loved this! So, when I read what this was about, of course I had to get out my headphones. However, I'm a little weird, so instead of putting on the right CD, I put on "Love", which is this new collection of Beatles remastered by George Martin, which is quite excellent but totally random. So I'm afraid I was listening to things like "Baby You Can Drive My Car" during "Good Morning"....Er... However, at times I did mute the CD and sing aloud to the songs, and they totally worked! So good job! My favourite was Narcissa appealing to Snape, as well as Epilogue/A Day in the Life. :)
Author's Response: Thanks very much! I always love getting reviews on my spoofs, because I worked harder on them than any of my other fics except Potter\'s Pentagon (because those are so darn long).
I have that CD, too! And... my favourite was also the \"She\'s Begging Snape\" one! And, weirdly, the \"Mr. Kite,\" song, which my beta hated.

With Filch serving as The Dark Lord Snoogerblossom, the position of Hogwarts caretaker/janitor is open. Seeing as Voldemort wants his magical powers back, he and his extremely attractive new sidekick, Mungo Phelps, go undercover at Hogwarts, with Mungo posing as a transfer student and Voldemort posing as the new janitor. Wacky high-jinks ensue.
Join Voldemort as he tries to get back his magic, kill Harry Potter, steal Gryffindor's sword to make a shiny new Horcrux, romance Minerva McGonagall, discover Sirius's secret to becoming a chick magnet, and swallow a teaspoon of his pride to mop up spills the Muggle way and wear an unflattering uniform! WARNING: Extremely silly and very out-of-character.

:) :) :) :) :) Nice job. I especially like how well you did keeping everyone in-character. I've read quite a few Marauder fanfics recently that are so off-character; it's so annoying to read something, all the while be thinking to yourself, "nah, James would NEVER do that!" and so on. There were lots of other positive things about this story, but that's just one that stood out for me.

Yay! This is so cute! James and Lily find out about Harry! :) Just a tiny thing, I'm not sure if it was intentional or not: when the healer calls Lily in, she calls her "Evans, Lily", but when she addresses her she calls her "Mrs. Potter". Such a nitpicky detail...

Wow, I was grinning at the whole thing with the wand pregnancy test turning blue... I couldn't help think about Muggle pregnancy tests, which also turn blue. Was that a coincidence? Lol. :) Nice!
