I'm a Miss, no Mrs, that has always loved to write but never had the courage to do so. Muggle Net Fan Fiction gave me a bit of courage to finally actually write something. So please let me know what you think so my stories can grow.
My real name is Martine. I'm a 23 year old Cultural Studies student from the Netherlands. I hope to graduate soon but at the moment all I do is read and write fanfiction.
Besides reading and writing anything that has to do with the world of HP (believe me when I say that I don't shut up about it until you have at least read the books) I also love reading other stuff. Anything from SF like Dune (classic) to the Great Tragedies of Shakespeare (even more classics). From Kama Sutra (the original Indian texts) to Western fiction on Chinese women (hopefully the subject of my final thesis).
But I also have to breath in some fresh air now and again so twice a week I get up and go out to climb. Well actually I climb inside but whenever the weather allows you can find me hanging on the rocks. To top this love for climbing of I will also be on the board of the climbing association here in Maastricht for the next year.
Other than that it is movies, music, travelling, swimming, hanging out with friends, my boyfriend or family (not necessarily in that order) that keeps me going.
The stories that keep me going until HBP comes out, are mostly about Severus Snape. In the books my favorite character is Hermione (I simply adore intelligent people) but Alan Rickman has always been one of my favorite actors. And well Alan simply plays the ultimate Severus for me. I can't help it, that man simply oozes blackness and bad boy and the only thing I want to do is drown in it.
This doesn't mean I can't enjoy other stories, though I do tend to stick to the romance. I will also leave you a review, when I read something of yours and hopefully you will one when you read something of mine.
At the moment I only have one story online. A little fluff thing about Hermione and Snape (did you see that one coming?) I'm also writing a story about Draco and Hermione which is more angsty but has the potential to become a ship. Not sure on that one yet, but I'll probably start putting it online soon.

Harry Potter and the Unlocked Mind by Huskers

This is the year seven sequel to, Harry Potter and the Blood Traitor. Read that first, or you will have no clue what is going on in this. Now that HBP is out, and I have continued to post my story, Harry Potter and the Unlocked Mind, I thought I would take a second to say this. Unlocked Mind will not be modified in any way to accomodate any of the cannon from HBP. Unlocked Mind, while not posted, was essentially finished before the release of JKR's book. Any similarities that my version of year seven has that may tie it to JKR's version of year six are coincidence.

I have the same feeling sometimes, but I will not leave you feeling like this. Your story is beautiful simply because every aspect of a good story is there. This is actually the only R/H and H/G story that can keep my interest and it is one that I keep coming back to. I'm looking forward to more.

Author's Response: I would tell you the direction it is going but unfortunately I cant! It would take away from the surprizes and such, and i am all for keeping people in suspense. Thanks for reviewing! The third chapter is being re-edited because the mods rejected it for poor grammar (thank god for Huskers...) check out my favs!

Well, this is my story and my depiction of Snape in an obvious AU future. I cannot write canon because ONLY the creator of the characters can do that. As a fanfiction writer the whole point is to put these characters the author would not put them in. Why do I have to "be careful" as to how I depict him.
