I'm 30 years old, married and an avid reader.
I love Fantasy books. Some of my favorite Authors include JKR, David Eddings, Tad Williams, Marion Zimmer Bradley, Elizabeth Hayden, and Robert Jordan.
I have a twin sister that betas for me. We have always been best friends and I hope we will stay that way.
I have found a great fondness for taking Hapkido. I'm currently a purple belt, and really having fun since I have gotten my twin, Step-sister, and husband to start coming to class with me. I also have a few other massage therapists from my office that come.
My favorite Animals are penguins. I also have a thing for cats, which led to me writing my first story, Switched.
My first Child was born in June. She is totally amazing, and I can't wait until she is old enough to share Harry with.

The Severed Souls by Magical Maeve
Rated: 3rd-5th Years •Summary: Summary : The sequel to Daughter of Light. Maeve has a very bad end to her honeymoon as things come to light about Severus that astound her. Why is her husband so keen to keep Draco Malfoy alive at all costs and can she really get over her loathing of Narcissa Malfoy to work together to save both Severus and Draco from the fate that Voldemort would like to inflict on them? Why is Harry so furtive and will Neville save the day when Maeve’s necklace is returned to her by her father. Oh, and our favourite bad-boy Auror is back!
There has been rather a long break in the writing of the story due to work commitments, but I'm back on the case and hoping to get it finished - if there's anyone left still reading!! :-)

Wow. I think we are on the trail of the missing Horcrux that Snape can't find! I like that the Sorting Hat is playing a role also. Lucius appearing dead, and Narcissa and Draco missing form where they were being protected, very interesting!!! I can't wait to see where you take that part of the story line!

Lots of things are happening. I like how Roderick is still playing the protector. I wish that Harry would have found some closure in visiting Godric's Hollow. I do like that old man though. It was nice for Harry to have found someone that knew his mom. I think Draco is going to get himself into some trouble. SIGH. OH well. That is his problem! hehe I look forward to more!!!

Wow. Roderick is as unpredictable as ever! I truly didn't expect him at the end of that chapter. It is also interesting to see Maeve on her last nerve. She is usually more collected then that. Great chapter!! Cyns
Author's Response: *nods* Maeve is definately starting to fray a little. poor woman. And Roderick. The only thing predictable about Roderick is that he is completely unpredictable. ;-) Thanks for sticking with this story, despite the big gaps in updating. Hopefully I\'m back on track with it now.

Wow. A lot is going on. I can't wait to learn more about Gryps. I see a lot of story coming from him. I hope Maeve or Severus finds Draco before any other Death Eater can! Severus is definitely playing with fire, and I know he has been burned before. I hope he doesn't get burned too badly again! I actually like him in your story. The 1st one I have ever liked! :)

That was another great chapter! I loved the boggart with Maeve and Narcissa! It is interesting to see their different reactions to seeing their husbands. Very interesting indeed. It was also fun having Rampton figure out that Snape and Filch are up to something!! Griffindors heir, hmmm, that should add something interesting to the story. I like how Dumbledore's picture awakens to tell a small piece of information, and then goes back to sleep. It is a very fun idea! I look forward to the next chapter!

A lot is happening! I hope that Narcissa's information can help Maeve. I'm still very fond of Roderick. We never totally know what he is up to, but he helps Maeve everytime she needs it! Poor Remus. He always ends up not getting his way! I look forward to reading what happens next!!!

There is so much going on, and all at once. I really find a lot of interesting things happening in this chapter. Harry is in for a big shock when he comes too. Percy is proving just how bad he has become. There is something there that I just can't seem to put my finger on. I hope that Neville is ok. I hope that someone figures out that Maeve would never let Harry actually die. Anyone that knows her should know that! I really look forward to the next chapte!
Author's Response: I can\'t believe so much suddenly happened in this chapter. it so wasn;t planned that way, but Severus had the bright idea of taking Harry so it just all went off. Next chapter is under way, and your commment about anyone realy knowing Maeve has been noted. ;-)
Date: 01/04/06 Title: Chapter 17: Restoration.
I'm glad that another Horcrux is gone. Wow. I missed that the necklace was a Horcrux. I hope that Harry is as able as Maeve to deal with the Horcrux's. I also hope he gives in and lets Ginny get close to him again. It was love that pulled Maeve through. I would think that Harry will need the same thing. I can't imagine what Wormtail was doing at the cemetary, but I'm sure it was something important. I look forward to the next installment!
Author's Response: You are not the only one to miss the necklace. :-) And you know..I don't know what Wormtail was doing at the cemetary yet...but no doubt he will let it slip in time. ;-) And you'll have to wait and see on the H/G front...fingers crossed!

An heir of Gryfindor, Albert's secrets, Sirius's portrait...ect. There are so many things that can come of all of that information. I really look forward to finding out what some of it is. The mysterious R. Black...I hope that Harry gets to talk to the portrait. It will be a nice thing for both Harry and the Sirius in the portrait! Poor Maeve. I hope that she finds something helpful to do soon. I can't see her just sitting in the house for a long time.

Ah!! I love the ending of that chapter. I can't believe that Hogwarts is falling. I hope that Ginny got out ok. I can see her being a leader in getting the other students out. It will be good to see Hermione and Ron's reaction to being reunited with Harry. I anxiously await the next chapter!

I have wondered for a while if Severus could somehow be Griffindore's heir. I had a feeling he was. I hope that he can somehow help Albert. Albert deserves better then to die a horrible and lonely death. At least he has found he has an heir. That is pretty cool. I'm glad that Remus has somehow come to the conclusion that Harry is still alive. I hope that everyone else sees it sometime soon too. I'm also glad that Harry and Severus have come to some understanding. I don't think they will ever like each other, or ever truly get along, but they should be able to work with each other. I look forward to the next chapter!!!

Wow!!! That was a great chapter. Snape was really able to prove his love, and Remus knows totally where he stands now. I'm glad that he knows now how much Snape really cares for Maeve, and I know he will do what he can for her when Snape can't be there. Harry probably won't take this too well, but I guess I'll have to wait and see. I look forward to what comes next. Once again....WOW!!
Author's Response: We're trying to keep Harry from finding out at the moment! LOL This was the perfect opportunity for Severus to prove himself with Maeve. She doesn't have doubts about his loyalties, but Remus did and this managed to shake them. When it comes down to it, Severus now has at least two allies on the 'good' side.

A lot always seems to happen in your chapters. I'm glad that Severus and Maeve finally had some time together. They really deserve it. I hope that Harry comes to his senses and starts taking some advice from SOMEONE. He doesn't want to hear what anyone has to say about anything. I'm soooo glad that Remus is finally finding some happiness also. I can't wait to see what all Felicia has to add to the story!

Everyone is really moving around! I hope that Draco doesn't cause too much trouble for everyone. I like Rampton more and more. He is definitely two sided, but it makes things very interesting. He is still very likable. Hedwig can find someone anywhere! LOL :)

A lot of transitional things happened in this chapter. Having Tonks be upset at Remus's wedding was very in line with the story. Snape getting rid of the necklace will hopefully help Maeve!! Narcissa joining Maeve makes for a very interesting twist. You have definitely given her a much bigger part to play. I look forward to see where you take that. I'm glad that Harry and Ginny are back together. I look forward to the next chapter!

Draco is sooooo stupid!! He doesn't realize the sacrifices that so many people have made for him. He is truly his Father's son! I hope that he gets a wake up call before it is too late. He doesn't even show his mother any respect! SIGH Oh well. I think you write him very well though. I'm glad that Maeve is going back to Grimauld Place. That way the Order can reach her if needed. My only question, is how will Severus be able to get there if Harry is secret keeper....Harry hasn't given him permission to be there. Only Maeve. It will be interesting to see how Snape gets Filch to help Harry. :) It is very interesting to see Snape help from the back ground, even though no one believes in him, except Maeve and Remus. I can't wait to see Remus when he resurfaces!!! That should be fun.
