I'm 30 years old, married and an avid reader.
I love Fantasy books. Some of my favorite Authors include JKR, David Eddings, Tad Williams, Marion Zimmer Bradley, Elizabeth Hayden, and Robert Jordan.
I have a twin sister that betas for me. We have always been best friends and I hope we will stay that way.
I have found a great fondness for taking Hapkido. I'm currently a purple belt, and really having fun since I have gotten my twin, Step-sister, and husband to start coming to class with me. I also have a few other massage therapists from my office that come.
My favorite Animals are penguins. I also have a thing for cats, which led to me writing my first story, Switched.
My first Child was born in June. She is totally amazing, and I can't wait until she is old enough to share Harry with.

The Severed Souls by Magical Maeve
Rated: 3rd-5th Years •Summary: Summary : The sequel to Daughter of Light. Maeve has a very bad end to her honeymoon as things come to light about Severus that astound her. Why is her husband so keen to keep Draco Malfoy alive at all costs and can she really get over her loathing of Narcissa Malfoy to work together to save both Severus and Draco from the fate that Voldemort would like to inflict on them? Why is Harry so furtive and will Neville save the day when Maeve’s necklace is returned to her by her father. Oh, and our favourite bad-boy Auror is back!
There has been rather a long break in the writing of the story due to work commitments, but I'm back on the case and hoping to get it finished - if there's anyone left still reading!! :-)

I noticed that nothing very exciting happened, and it was a transition, but lots of it really seems important to the story. :) I wait anxiously for more!! :)
Author's Response: Thanks for the review, Cheslin... You have to bear with me on some of these transition chapters. I have a lot of people in a lot of locations and pulling them altogether can be time consuming.

Things are really starting to happen. I hope that Remus and Felicia stay happy. I hope that Remus makes it safely back to Hogwarts! That was a really nasty cliff hanger at the end though! I hope we find out what happens to Maeve real soon!!!!

It is really cool to see everyone getting together. I'm glad that Remus was able to lead Neville to Harry and Maeve. I am wondering if anyone is going to treat his snake bite. He had seemed in kinda serious condition, but when he got to Snape and Maeve it got ignored! It was very cool seeing Lugh again. He always shows up at the most interesting times! :) I look forward to see what happens next.

That was another great chapter. Poor Albert. I hope that he gets to meet his grandson and his wife before he gets too sick. That was a very interesting twist. I love that Maeve had an answer to that question for Severus. Poor Harry having everyone think he is dead. That must really be hard on him. I hope that he can come to believe in Severus enough to follow the plan, at least mostly. I can understand why he wants Ginny told. I still hold to the fact that people that know Maeve would know she would never let Harry die. (I'm leaning most toward Remus, Ron and Hermione though) Poor Draco. Nothing ever goes his way. I can't figure Rampton out. There seems to be two of him or something. I can understand when he helped Jenny, but him collecting Draco seems weird to me. Oh well. I don't have him totally figured out yet anyhow.

Another great chapter!!! I was really trying hard to figure out who was following Harry and the girls. I wouldn't have guessed that it was Nagini! I hope that Snape is able to help Harry. I have a lot of things running through my mind, especially about what the empty grave could have meant. I look forward to the next chapter!!

I'm glad that Hermione is doing ok. I was a little worried about her. Mrs. Weasley finding out about things will be very interesting. She does need to find out though. I'm glad Ron isn't taking things out on Ginny, and Hermione isn't either. Ginny is just in a really tight spot and will hopefully forgive herself too. I look forward to the next chapter.

Woooo Hooooo!!! I knew he finally gave in, but the "I surrender" moment was GREAT!! Remus totally deserves to be happy, and I hope that JKR will let him stay that way for a little while! One of the Marauders deserves to live with a wife and raise his kids. Sirius and James didn't get to, and Wormtail doesn't count!!! I really hope that Remus is able to! You don't have any say in that, but I love your story! It is great having Tonks with the pink hair. I can't wait until Molly and everyone else gets to see them together. I'm thinking you also have to show some of the funeral. That was when JKR showed them together. I look forward to the next chapter!

This is a great story. It is a very original idea. We see so much from Harry's POV. It is nice getting it from some other POV. There is so much going on. I love getting to know your version of how Tonks fell in love with Remus. It is heartbreaking seeing her try to get him to admit his feelings, so she can at least know if she has a chance or not. I know I've been in tears a few times, and I don't cry that easy. Having her watch his transformation was great. It really shows just how much she really cares. I look forward to the next installment!
Author's Response: I'll admit, there was a purely selfish reason for writing this fanfic. I didn't care about points of view, I was simply infuriated with JKR for not giving us more R/T backstory. Thank you for such a wonderful story. Everything you wrote fits in perfectly with HBP. My favorite part of this chapter was when Ginny took strength in seeing how Tonks persevered and finally got what she wanted. It really does explain why she doesn't totally break down when Harry tells her they have to go separate ways. Thanks for a wonderful story!

You have definitely caught the essence of darkness in Bellatrix and Voldemort. When Voldemort cast the spell to strangle Malfoy, I really felt the power from Voldemort. Bellatrix's love of maiming and killing seems a bit much for a six year old, but if any child would have been so twisted, it would have been her.
Voldemort changing his mind about killing Bellatrix after invading her mind makes sense to me. A girl her age would be easy to twist to his goals, especially since she already shared some of his ruthlessness and obsession. This is a very interesting start to a what could be a very intersting story. Cyns

Wow. This is a very emotional chapter. It really show how two worlds that are very similar can be very different. Being a twin myself, I have seen how two people can see things in entirely different ways. I feel bad for both the twins. I love the way you show this very emotional time, and seeing how Padma shatters, is very sad. Thanks for adding to this story.
