Like most people on this site, I am obsessed with Harry Potter. I began reading the books in 2008 (yes, I know, fairly late), and they instantly became favourites.

I love Next-Gen, because it allows you to do anything with the characters without making O.C.'s, which is really neat. Stories I have ideas for are mostly Next-Gen. I also love Fred and George, Tonks, and Hermione.

My Stories:

Right up thr Road: This was the first fanfiction story I ever wrote, and it was written about a year ago. I only have three chapters up, but I have more written. The problem is that I can see that it lacks a lot of plot. For now, it is on hiatus, until I can come up with a better plot line. If not, then, it may be deleted.

It's All You Need: First one-shot and songfic. I hope you enjoyed this as much as I did!

Stop Signs: Found the analogy in a book I was reading, and I fell in love with it. Based around the death of Fred, this is such a cute, fluffy tale.

So, for now, I am sticking with one-shots on this site. I have so many one-shot ideas bouncing around, and I just submitted one that I'm very excited about. If you wish to read a chaptered fic of mine, or other one-shots that I may post on MNFF soon, visit my profile on fanfiction.net. My penname over there is Unspeakable53.

Thank you, and have an amazing day!

"I tried a few simple spells just for practice and it's all worked for me."

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone

My answer to an early plot hole that has always bugged me in this story.

Date: 05/07/10 Title: Chapter 1: Hermione's in Trouble

this was a very cute story except for one thing... witches and wizards who are not yet at Hogwarts are allowed to do magic! it says so in the Deathly Hallows. (Lily and Snape) The ministry only keeps track once your at hogwarts! fred and george tried to perform the unbreakable vow on Ron when he was 5.. fred and george must have been about 7. or when they turned his teddy bear into a spider at the age of 3.. fred and george were only 5 at the time. but good story!~!

Author's Response: Well, now I has more things to think about. If wizarding children really have this small window of oppurtunity where they can use magic without punishment, can't you see kids from wizarding families taking complete and total advantage of this. Even the older siblings could pay their siblings to use spells for them. I feel like the Ministry of Magic would have figured this out by the time of the Harry Potter books. Maybe there is some sort of temporary tracking spell just to keep track of the wand before the actual Hogwarts tracker is placed. Maybe the wands themselves have tracking spells placed on them when eleven-year-olds buy them that wear off by September 1st, when the real Ministry tracker takes hold. This plot hole is a lot more complicated than previously thought.

A Moment, A Love by jenny b

A dream, aloud, a kiss, a cry …

Pregnant at seventeen. I was not that kind of girl. My final year at Hogwarts was supposed to be the best yet – filled with Quidditch matches, parties with my best friends and Outstandings in all my NEWTs. But now I was facing morning sickness, young mothers’ group and irate teachers, all whilst trying to hold my relationship with Lysander together.

What on earth was I going to do?

I think this Lily is alot different from the ones that are usually written. She's alittle more of a rebel, she's alittle reckless, and no one would ever expect to read Lily Potter portrayed that way, but I love it. Great job :)

Date: 06/30/10 Title: Chapter 1: Forget Me Not

This is such a cute story. I think that people often overshadow minor characters, and when authors like you write stories about them, it just makes the series (HP)seem more rounded, you know?

You captured setting really well! The whole time I was reading this, I was thinking about that scene in OoTP. You gave a scene that really just seemed like a touching action with a mother and son, and made it into a symbolic and emotional(er) one.

And I think the best part of this story was seeing the way you captured Alice and Frank. In most fan fics, she's shy and timid, and Frank is the perfect student. They just seem more rounded characters in this story. I really like the way you portrayed Alice-she has spunk!

I found this a very light and touching story, and what happens to Frank and Alice in the future makes it that much better.

It was so good, and i hope you keep writing! :)

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I really love minor character the best, because I think there is so much more to explore with them. They have the stories we always subconsciously wondered about. I'm so happy to hear others are interested in them, too. OotP Is my FAVORITE of the series. Love, love, love! And that part is one that always stuck out in my mind because it was so sad and beautiful at the same time. I've always wondered about the story behind it. I hadn't read any Alice/Franks before I wrote this, so I think that helped a lot. Also, when I think of the name Alice, I can't help but think of Lewis Carroll's spunky Alice, and I feel like Neville had to get the feisty side of him that comes out in DH from somewhere. So happy you liked them! I really just sort of split up some of Neville's traits and gave some to each of them without making either parent seem like a Neville clone. So happy that worked out well! I really appreciate that you took the time to read it and give me such a lovely and thorough review! Many thanks! (:

Wow that was really well thought out. I love the way two of them find healing together, you made it very believeable. Alot of people try the concept of one of the trio dying, but I haven't read one yet like this that really shows the emotional pain, and the journey to healing. Nice job :)!

Author's Response: Thank you for the lovely review! I've often considered what it would be like if one of the trio had died. Throughout all the books it is a very real possibility (and not just for Harry but for all three) and it's almost a miracle that none of them died. I really wanted to explore the emotions of what it would be like to lose such an integral part of their friendship. This has been in the works for a long time so I'm glad you found it emotionally plausible and well-thought out. Again, thanks for the great review.

Amazing job on this. The secnes were well done, and you captured the emotions so well. I think this has to be one of my favourites. Except for the end part, which was really depressing. But still amazing! ;) Nice work.

WOOT! that was the best chapter so far! i really liked the conversation between Hermione and Ginny.. thanks a million!

Author's Response:

Thanks for reviewing, and I'm glad you liked it. I think, by this point, Ginny is really distraught and wanted to pick a fight with someone. She probably would have preferred to have a go at Harry, but seeing how he wasn't there, Hermione became her primary target.

Take care and happy reading!

Nice cliffie Jess.... I'm a little mad at you for that, but you make up for it with your fantastic chapters! Nice work :)

Author's Response: Hehe, I'm a fiend for cliffie endings for chapters. I just feel like, since there's always a wait for the next installment, I want to keep people wanting to read. I'm glad you like the story, and an update will come next week. Thanks for the review, as always! ~Jess

Oh, you almost made me cry hun... my goodness. That scene right before Harry leaves was done really nicely.

Great chapter as usual!

Author's Response:

If Harry knows anyone well, it's Hermione, so he had to have known that she would try something to keep him from leaving. He just one-upped her on that one, lol. Seriously, though, he cared about her too much to let her suffer through having to wait for him to go to his meeting with Yaxley, so he actually did her a favour in that respect.

Glad you liked the chapter, and thank you much for reviewing!

This was really well done, just like all the other 18 chapters. I love the way you have so many different perspectives; for instance, Lavender's parents :) I don't think I've ever come across a fanfic (or one-shot) based around them. Nice work!

Author's Response: Thanks for the review. I put a lot of work into Lavender's parents when I was writing Moon. But in the final version, they didn't even appear, so I decided to use some of the stuff here. I'm glad that you're enjoying this story. It is coming to a close. -N-

This was very well written, and I liked reading it alot. It had alot of practicallity to it, although I think you should have added alitte more emotion after James and Lily's death. Good job! :)

Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I understand what you mean about it lacking emotion - I was intending it to be too much of a shock for him to feel emotional, but I'll definitely have a look at it and see if I can put that in better. Thanks for taking the time to review, I really appreciate it!

This story is very well written, and I most definetly look forward to more! But I was just wonderng if you were a Christian? The charatacters of the parents seem very strict, and unloving, completely opposite of how a child of God should. The way you portray the religion in this house seems very strict, with alot of rules.I am in no way offended!! I was just wondering if that was intentional. :) Keep writing
