Welcome to my Author's Page!

Salutations! Well, a little about myself. My name is Jordan, and I love to write fanfction, as well as my own fiction. Usually, I just compose short creative writing pieces, but this is my branch off into complete fiction.

I also feed off of constructive critisism. I think it influences the way I write something tremendously, and it inspires me so. If you are reading my story, please feel free to give me a few pointers! It is nice to just get the review of "Yeah, your story is great, update soon", and don't get me wrong. I greatly aprecciate them, but I feel that tips here and there are much more helpful.

Happy Readings!

Thank you to Forgotten Poems, QueenHal, Kitkat2010, and Fantasium!

Just Like That by tot_desidero

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Harry Potter has defeated the Dark Lord once and for all. He is expected to be celebrating with the rest of the wizarding world and he would be. If only he hadn't fallen for the one person he could never be with.

Well, truth be told, I do not like to read H/Hr fics because, to be blunt, I do not support that pairing at all. However, your story was very good, and I enjoyed it very much.

And, just to let you know, I did not feel like Harry was slipping into alchoholism. =] Yes, he did go a little overboard, but what would anybody else do if the person they loved dumped them for their best friend? I would probably get myself drunk sensless as well.

I thought you kept the characters well, in character. I thought that, like many other stories, Hermione was going to be some superwoman and Harry an incredibly romatic suave kind of bloke. However, they were none of those things, to which I was greatful.

The funny thing is, this story would go just as well in the R/Hr category because of the ending, but I think that the H/Hr title fits it better. Great job. You are a talented writer, and I hope you continue.

And for the record, I didn't think that the Hermione/Colin pairing to get Ron jealous was stupid.

Harry Potter and the Tale of the Red Knight by Tabletop_Joe

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: A wedding day... a day for celebrating life and love. Yet one guest feels only grief. Will an old friend and an old story be enough to bring him out of the depths?
Reviewer: greeneyes Signed
Date: 06/21/06 Title: Chapter 1: A Knight of Shadows

It seems like a nice story, but Harry and Ron seem pretty angsty to me!

Author's Response: Oh, yes, there is angst in the first chapter, but keep at it, the mood picks up in the next two chapters. All shall be revealed as fast as the mods can work.

Haha. The last line made me laugh. I've never read an Irma Pince/Filch story before, and I think I might want to read more once this is updated. Good luck!

And thank you so much for the Pluto avatar!

Forever on the Closed Ward by Aelan Greenleaf

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: "I'm Harry. Harry Potter," the man smiled as he reached out a welcoming hand, "and who are you?" "Brian. Brian Harrison," the boy lied. He could feel the sadness rise in him as they shook hands, as if meeting for the first time.
Reviewer: greeneyes Signed

This is so sweet! It's terribly sad and a defenite tearjerker, but I loved it! I feel so bad for Brian! It must have been hard for him.

And I feel so bad for Harry. It must have been frustrating to try and grasp something that was just out of his reach.

But, I think that this is a fantastic story. Good job!

Awww, that's so sad! But yet, it's very good as well. I loved the storytelling on Lily's part. T'was very creative, I think. Way to go!

Ooooh, this is sooo good! I remember helping you out with your plot/character for Minnie on the fanfiction forums. This is very good. I like it. =]

Author's Response: Aww, thanks! Thanks for the help, too. I\'m almost done with the first chapter of my story^^

Amor Non Mutuus by Dumbledore Prince

Rated: Professors •
Summary: “Amor Non Mutuus” is Latin for “Unrequited Love”.

This is the story of the tragic love life of Merope Gaunt, Voldemort’s mother. It is told in first person from Merope’s point of view. She has deep feelings for Tom Riddle Senior, the son of the village squire; and tries to make him fall in love with her. However, Merope learns the hard way that a “love” potion can create only a powerful obsession, not true love.

Additional warning: bad language.

Wow, this is amazing! But ha-ha! I got to read it before anybody else! Go me! Anywhoo, I liked how you portrayed Merope. I think her nervousness and determination were both correctly shone, but it wasn't too much. You know?

Nice work, and keep it up! Good job on getting it accepted.

Author's Response: Hi greeneyes! *waves at her loyal BETA* :D

Author's Response: Thanks for the nice comments!

I love the first chapter! It's a good opening to a story; it really sets things up. So many different things could happen, so it's exciting to see what you'll come up with!

You characterization is excellent; you don't have a CAPSLOCK!HARRY, or a supermodel!Hermione, even though she does have blonde hair with the Polyjuice Potion. I liked how she was shy in front of Harry. You brought out her sense of not wanting to be the center of attention. I liked that.

Can't wait to read the next chapter! =]

Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I\'m glad you liked my characterization, I try to keep it as realistic as possible. Hopefully you like the next chapter!

Revelation I:I by Ada Kensington

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: While on the hunt for the Ravenclaw Horcrux, in a secluded glade in the Forbidden Forest, Harry Potter has a chat with Death.
Reviewer: greeneyes Signed
Date: 10/17/06 Title: Chapter 1: Revelation I:I

You're right: I've never read a story quite like this before, but now I'm exceptionally glad that I have.

I liked the man...whoever he was. He was certainly quite a character.

You portrayed Harry quite well, also. He was indeed, "just Harry". I hope to see more written by you in the future. =]

Don't Wait Too Long by KASK

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Fleur was getting married. I never told her how I felt. I never told her I was in love with her. And now I didn't have the chance.

Told from the POV of Christian Beaumont, the boy who loved Fleur in school. It all begins when he receives an invitation to her wedding, and ends up changing his life.

Fleur/Bill, Fleur/OC and [minor] Harry/Ginny.

This story was so cute!

Well, for a most of it, it was positively heartbreaking, but the end was lovely!

I think you were very creative to invent this whole character and have him fit in so well with canon. I loved that.

Christian was unimaginably believable. He had all of the right qualities--loyalty, patience, curiousity, friendliness, etc, but I'm glad you gave him some undesirable ones too--slightly insecure, anxious, and a little bit dramatic, but that made the story more exciting.

Great job! You're an awesome writer!!

Author's Response: *hugs* Thank you, Jordan!!!

Lily Evans and the Golden Lyre by capella_black

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: At the start of Lily’s sixth year, something is stolen from Hogwarts--a powerful magical object, one Lord Voldemort would want. Can Lily unravel the object’s mysterious past and discover the thief’s identity in time to ‘once defy’ the Dark Lord?
Reviewer: greeneyes Signed
Date: 12/26/06 Title: Chapter 3: Chapter Three: Gray and Black

I like this a lot so far. It's quite humorous.

Though I'm not sure if I like Roger or not. That was very abrupt the way he left Lily in the pub. But who knows....only you!

Keep up the great work!

A Song for Johnny by Fantasium

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •

The older generations, especially of the pure-blood families, disapprove, but their children are becoming increasingly curious and open-minded. Anna! Your story is so good!

You've almost written your own fiction here! I love how you took things from real life and other things that are canon and had them flow together so smoothly.

I was very surpised at how good this way!

In the SBBC, we're discussing a Historical fic, and yours was chosen! Congratulations!

I've never read very much of Historical, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but if any of the other stories are like yours is, I'm hooked! :D

John's personality reminded me a bit of Arthur, Ron, and Bill blended together. I'm not sure if you did that on purpose, but it was certainly a very nice touch to the story.

So, on an ending note, congratulations (again) on an excellent job well done! If you ever think about writing John Weasley again in another fic, I say go for it! He seems very well-rounded and developed already, but I think you could turn him into something truly wonderful if you put your mind to it. :)

Have a nice day!

Haha, the sarcasm in this made me laugh. I have never read a story from Harry's POV, and this was nice. Great job!

Author's Response: I take it you meant a story NOT from Harry\'s POV ;) Yeah, this was different and fun, and I love writing Snape. I got to have fun with him because this is the Snape prior to HBP.

Bohemian Rhapsody by MaiaMadness

Rated: Professors •
Summary: “Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? Caught in a land slide, no escape from reality. Open your eyes, look up to the skies and see… Anywhere the wind blows doesn't really matter to me.”

Last story in my Night at the Opera series.

I don't usually read slash stories, this one is pretty good! Slash doesn't bother me, but I tend to stick to canon pairings. However, I like this set up, and I love the title! And the summary! It's great! =]

Author's Response: Thank you! I\'m glad you liked it, and thank you for reviewing! :)
