I love Harry Potter fan fiction, because it allows my imagination to run free!
I probably could be doing something more productive, but since I love to read and write, and hope to be an author one day, this doesn't seem like a whole waste of time!!!!
I love this site so much. It really let's me challenge my mind and see things in a whole new light.
Go fan fiction!!!!!

EDIT: I am a poetry nut! So watch out for all my poetry and you can even check some of my poetry out on Poetry Anyone? in the Beta Forums, if you are able to get an account. :) Also watch out if you write poetry, too! I am sure to review it, and possibly leave behind a critique!

The Snake and the Eagle by Alessandra_C

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: It's Harry Potter’s sixth school year and the world is under the impending menace of Lord Voldemort and his pitiless Death Eaters. A new teacher arrives to Hogwarts. Will it be another candidate for the DADA post? New friendships and love affairs sprang up under Albus Dumbledore’s benevolent gaze. A private Yule Ball. More bloody writing on the wall and a Muggle-born involved. Snape’s life is in great danger. The Second War begins. Who will be the winner?

Wow! I absolutely loved this, even of some parts were a bit fluffy (I think those were my favorite parts). :) I honestly hope I find a sequel to this... It was a grand adventure that I can't wait to read again!

The Long Wait by ancientgirl

Rated: Professors •
Summary: This story has been posted on several sites dedicated to the pairing of Hermione and Severus Snape. She is 22 in this story, and there was no relationship between the two while she was a student. If this pairing bothers you, please don't read.

I loved this story!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am totally hooked now on Hermione/Snape. I laughed, I cried, I was tense with anticipation, I jumped for joy... Perfect, perfect, perfect! :)

A Match Made in House-Elf Heaven by Loz

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: The Krinky Ship. The relationship between a pair of star-crossed lovers, namely Kreacher and Winky, is explored. Winky is happy leading a normal family life but Kreacher further plots to harm Harry Potter.

I laughed so hard! Just what I needed to get away from the gloomy stories I've been reading. :) great idea! I think this would be fun to expand (if you haven't already...)

Raindrops by Mary

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Rain leaves a trace of itself. It's rather like tears in that way. Short Oneshot, Adult!Hermione/Snape hinted at.

Date: 06/22/12 Title: Chapter 1: Raindrops

Oh rain. I love it personally. It means I can get cozy and read a book... Let my imagination run, and it's music to my ears, and quite relaxing.
I loved how the rain was a metaphor for troubled times, and also the last paragraph, when the rain reflected her tears. It was such a great way to get into the head of Hermione. Not sure how this was really a romance... But it was sweet still the same! :)

Traditional Socks by Angharad

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Why does Professor Dumbledore tell Harry that he sees himself holding a pair of socks in the Mirror of Erised?
Reviewer: Nagini Riddle Signed
Date: 07/04/12 Title: Chapter 1: Traditional Socks

Socks!!!!!!! A little of the way in, I totally realized where this was headed, an I laughed because I remembered that Mirror of Erised scene before it came up in this story. A pair of woolen socks... :) so cute! I had wondered for a time why neither Albus nor Minerva ever married. Now I know.
Great story!

The Professors' New Clothes by Angharad

Rated:
Summary: Minerva McGonagall and Albus Dumbledore each have a stylish new set of robes. Could it be that they are each trying to attract the attention of someone special?

Oh! I loved it! So funny! I like how you incorporated their clothing so well. Great job!

Time Moves Slowly by GwendolynJames

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: It’s a phenomenon that I will never understand. The one day in a woman’s life when she wants time to fly is the day when it decides to move as slowly as possible.
Reviewer: Nagini Riddle Signed
Date: 07/04/12 Title: Chapter 1: Time Moves Slowly

Wow! I'm starting to really enjoy these fics about Cissy. This was so sweet! Evn better when I know what their future holds- but their love really does seem to conquer...

~My Eternal Love~ by mrs_depp

Rated:
Summary: A rather dark SS/HG ff that will only be two chapters ... The first chapter isn't that bad, but then the second one will be worse ... set in the gang's seventh year, post-Last Battle. My first fic on here, please review, even if you don't like it ... I like getting criticisms ...
Reviewer: Nagini Riddle Signed
Date: 06/22/12 Title: Chapter 2: A fateful ten seconds

Hmm... I like the premise, but this story is very short. Perhaps you can extend it? It felt very rushed, especially at the end. Still, I find it funny that Snape was so quick to give up when Hermione said she didn't love him...

There they were by ancientgirl

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: This is my take on the Marriage challenge, at WIKTT. This takes place on Hermione and Severus' wedding night. This is a one shot, but part of a series of three.
Reviewer: Nagini Riddle Signed
Date: 06/22/12 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter one

How interesting! I would never think to put this pair together, but here it is.
First off, great job! I can imagine this was difficult, but you made it work. I loved your characterization of Hermione- bookish, but bold, and stubborn. I think Snape was slightly out of character, but considering that this was written before the Harry Potter series was completed, it's quite understandable, and it's still believable that Snape has a kind heart. :) I loved every minute of this fiction, though.

Simply Different by Powerful_Quill

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: On the last night of his seventh year, Neville does not sit and eat with his fellow graduates, but watches a girl. And it happened to be the strangest girl in Hogwarts. . .
Reviewer: Nagini Riddle Signed

Poor Neville! Luna is not afraid to speak her mind, is she? This was a fun read. :) I really enjoyed it. Great job!

The Truth About Cats by Mary

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Severus detests cats. Hermione happens to have one. And Dumbledore probably has a good laugh about it all, but he's not the subject of this story. Adult!Hermione/Snape, COMPLETE One-Shot
Reviewer: Nagini Riddle Signed
Date: 06/22/12 Title: Chapter 1: Truth

I had to laugh! Snape, afraid of cats? Squealing like a girl? *chuckles*
Wonderful short story!

A Simple Suggestion (With Dishonorable Intent) by Mary

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Hermione pitches an idea to a reluctant Severus, but her motivations aren’t completely innocent. He IS a tall, dark, and brooding Potions Master, after all. Prequel to Painfullly Obvious.
Reviewer: Nagini Riddle Signed
Date: 06/22/12 Title: Chapter 1: A Simple Suggestion

I loved how this was all a conversation!!!!!! What an ingenious idea! Sort of like Hemingway in that manner, but better. Maybe you will succeed in making me a Hermione/Snape shipper...

The Beginning by Bella

Rated:
Summary: This story contains Hermione/Snape. If this pairing bothers you, I would advise you not to read it. I would love to have your input so please review! One Shot.
Reviewer: Nagini Riddle Signed
Date: 06/22/12 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter One

As I make my way through this entire category of Hermione/Snape, I am slowly growing to like this pairing! Your fiction only helped. I would like to point out, though, that this fiction felt very short and fast. It feels like it needs some more- well, some more descriptions, battles with selves, and fillers. It would round out the story very nicely, and give it a more realistic feel.
I hope this helps! Still enjoyed the story. :)

There they were - In Love by ancientgirl

Awwwwwwwwww! So sweet and cute! I loved it! Especially when Hermione was surprised about her pregnancy. :) how naive some women can be... (I can say that, since I am a girl myself!)
