Well, I just spend a good twenty minutes revamping my profile for this, and as soon as I submit it, I am informed to log back in! So I lost everything! I am nearly distraught. But I'll try to recreate this as best I can.
Hello, Potter fans! Or, as the case may be, non-Potter fans. But I don't know what you're doing here if you're a non-Potter fan. Very strange. I got the urge to revamp my profile after noticing how terse and emo and blah it was. Here goes.
I am sixteen years old. Yes, that's a start. And I'm a girl. I look remarkably like Hermione, only without the buck teeth. And my guy friends (however loose the term "friends" is) have yet to realize that yes, I am a girl.
Anyway, general interests and info. I ADORE musicals, Rent being my all-time favorite, with Wicked, Les Mis, Spamalot, and Phantom of the Opera being right up there too. I am a big fan of emo music, particularly Taking Back Sunday, The Academy Is..., the Rocket Summer, and Panic! At the Disco. I listen to some pop and Celtic stuff as well. Favorite movies include Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, Corpse Bride, and Pride & Prejudice. I have three adorable kitties and I love them. I also have awesome friends, including MNFF's very own SiriuslyPadfoot12. Check out her stuff! Um, my other hobbies tend to include being a mall rat and playing pool and reading. And not much else, ha.
What else should I say? Hmm, well, my favorite character in the Potterverse and possibly any other 'verse is Remus Lupin, because he is such a beautiful, sad man and nearly breaks my heart with every sweet, sensitive thing he says or does. My least favorite in the Potterverse is probably Fenrir Greyback, because he was one creepy man. Favorite ship? Not Remus/Tonks…Remus/Me! Bahaha, I jest. Remus + Tonks = OTP, my friends.
Coming soon!An "Other Pairing" story starring a very average Muggle woman and a lad who is, if not a family favorite, at least a female favorite.
In Progress...well, I started them, anyway...A story written in the forms of two diaries by two sisters, Aine and Kate, as they embark on their delayed sixth and seventh years at Hogwarts. Set in the Marauder Era and may include a little Marauder romance, too!
Also, another Marauder story, set in their seventh year, from the POV of one Delilah "Lucky" Dinsmore, a 17-year-old petty thief and amateur witch who's saved from the law's wrath by Dumbledore...only to meet a different sort of wrath in the halls of Hogwarts.
Um. Yeah. That story was definitely on the verge of making me cry. Oh my gosh, my throat was all squeezed! I felt Remus's pain so much! *sobs hysterically* Write more! Please! *Lovely writing, by the way, excellent style.*
Oh my God. Just...oh my...Like someone else said, this story should have WAY more than 14 reviews and should be a Featured story. It just...plucks the heartstrings, if you will. This is such a wrenching pain for Remus to have to go through, but he's doing it for his friend. That sums up Remus Lupin. I...wow, I'm almost completely speechless. Well, here's a ten for you, and if I could give more, you would have it. Keep writing, please! (Oh, and that bit about the writer's block thing is sad. Writer's block = evil, doesn't it?)
That plot twist was an incredible work of genius! I love Ginny's hand in LE/JP romance. Keep up the excellent work! :D
Oh my gosh. I was seriously about to CRY reading that. I always get all sappy during that song, though... I don't understand why people say it needs to be expanded. I think it's perfectly fine the way it is. Beautiful!
*eats the story* Dohh I thought he was going to die! Don't scare me like that! Anyway...*koff* It was cute, though his 'Can I kiss you' thing was a bit unrealistic. But hey, who really cares? It was still beauteous!
Author's Response: hmm it doesn't seem unrealistic to me. but then again my reality is much different seeing as how I have developed a new improved daddy's gone Draco Malfoy.... oh you all shall see! its coming along quite nicley! *eBil grin*
This is a SPLENDIFEROUS story. I like the way you're easing into their relationship, rather than having them all of a sudden attracted to one another. It's wonderful this way. It's also extremely funny -- "Ron and Harry flinched at 'cramps', but said nothing." That line literally had me laughing out loud. Keep writing!!!
*teary eyes* That was BEAUTIFUL!!! I never knew I could ever feel such sympathy for Malfoy. Definitely going on my favorites list.
NO!!! I MUST FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENS!!! *begs on bended knee* Oh, that was a wrencher, that was. Brownie points for thee!
*is dead from cute* I can honestly find nothing wrong with that. It was so sweet, how he turned protector at the last minute. I laughed when she was talking at him and he didn't say anything, I thought that was funny. I'm SO glad you added this chapter, I've been waiting for it for awhile! Don't delay us as much waiting for the next chapter! ...I'm willing to beg!!
Wow... That was cah-razy! Celeste kicks @$$ beyond belief. She's one of my favorite fanfic characters as of now. The Lupin thing kind of weirded me out though. No offense...I mean I can see where it came from...but it's still kinda strange. Odd mental images, eh?
This was the very first story I read here, and I believe the one of the very best so far. Sweet, whimsical, and a VERY intriguing summary. I think it was the invisible feet that got me. And the crowning touch was that the cat (Piddyfoot, was it?) just HAD to have kittens on Ginny's jumper.
Again, bravissima!
Author's Response: Thanks so much for the review! Just between you and me, I felt very sorry for Ginny when she lost her jumper that way. Ewwww.....
Oh, come on then...give us some more! *wink* I want to know who they go on dates with!
Author's Response: Sorry, I would've told you this sooner but anyway... For some reason, the second chapter to this fic was rejected. I don't know why, so I don't know what to do different if I sent it again. I'm too busy with other things to bother trying again anyway. There is somewhere else you can find it, though: www.moonromance.net. It's still in the "New Stories" section, so when you get to the main page, click on that. Scroll down until you get to the section labelled "Harry Potter" and it's there.
That. Is. Genius.
Granted, kinda weird, but in a good way!! Wow! I am impressed! And you kept them delightfully in-character too! Props!
Author's Response: Thank you very much! :)
All right, here goes. Awhile ago, I started your story and -- I'M SORRY-- I didn't like it. *cringes* So I, er, stopped. Seeing it as a featured story, I thought, "Well, you know, I'll try it again." And I'm actually pretty glad I did, because I liked it a lot better this time around. Enough to put it on my favorites and give it a 10, anyway. *wink* I won't take off a point for it, but occasionally Remus seems a bit OOC (flirting? Oh, goodness gracious me...), and I don't always get Isabelle, and at one point I think you used the word 'surpass' wrong, although I could be mistaken as to what your intent was. But overall, you have a really lovely writing style, and it's a great story with an interesting storyline. Very original stuff in there, the Raining Draught and all. I'm intrigued, I am. Let's see some more of this story, then, shall we?
Author's Response: Well, Isabelle quite a mystery as it is, so it's okay that at some points people may not understand her. As the story goes on, her character will slowly unravel and everything she's now will be better understood. Anyway, thank you for the kind review. I'm glad you gave my story another try and enjoyed the second time around. :)
Oh my LORD! That was a riot! The lists were stupendous, simply hysterical, and they made Hermione seem so completely human, instead of a perfect little priss. The zhibkhit amused me: "There is a large, suspicious-looking bug nearby...I was lost track of the large, suspicious-looking bug..." *chuckles* Also, "THE MAN SPEAKS CAT!" And of course, the end was Cute, with a captial c. Tres bien, and a ten for you!
Author's Response: *is happy* Yay! Reviews make me so happy, even for stories that are already completed! Glad you thought it was funny, it's good to know that I'm not just sitting here at my computer, cracking myself up.
*blinks*
*twice*
I never thought I'd ever feel this bad for Snape. Ever.
*watery eyes*
It was very nice...even if the pairing kind of odds me out...but there wasn't any severe (ha ha...a pun...severe...Severus...oh i'm funny...) HG/SS-ness, so it's all good. :)
Author's Response: I'm so glad I made you so sad... wait, that came out wrong... let's try that again... I'm so glad I evoked the emotions within you that I hoped to evoke... ok that was kinda book-ish, but w/e... you ARE very funny... *severe...* ha ha ha... *laughs oddly to herself...* the pairing odds many out, but that was another thing I tried to do... I'm thinking outside of the box... next thing you know, I'll be writing slash... but I write really crap slash, I'm much better at reading it... hahaha... that was supposed to be funny... *sniff* I think I'm funny...
Lurve,
Cassandra
Two words: wicked cool. ;-) *happy sigh* I LOVE L/J.
GEMMIKA I HATE YOU FOR MAKING ME CRY!!!!! No, kidding. But I was sitting through the chapter, wiping my face and going, "No, stop it, stop crying, STOP IT!" *le sigh* After that, I can give you nothing but a 10. Enjoy. ;)
*wants a James for her own* Your writing style is wonderful -- I feel as if I'm there with them. And I was about to cry, reading about James crying, and Remus -- oh, be still my heart -- being all nice and Remus-ey. I get emotional like that. Keep up the outstanding work!
*gasp* I am intrigued! This story has got a lot of wicked cool potential! And I want to find out who Snape's love interest will be...*nudge nudge wink wink*
Author's Response: Awe! Thanks a bunch. I can't wait to introduce you to the girl, but that gonna be a few chapters from now. I hope you keep reading
