Padfoot Prohibited by Liveley

Rated:Past Featured Story
Summary: Giving high school essays a Marauder twist, this fiction is centered around the idea that some seniors in high school are require to write a letter to incoming freshman before they graduate. At Hogwarts, Seventh Years are given an assignment to write such a letter for the new First Years. Sirius decides to actually take an assignment, well seriously...sort of. He decides to look back on his entire Hogwarts years and write down his list of things not to do at Hogwarts.

The Upside of Being Down by Kimberley

Rated: Professors •
Summary: *COMPLETED!*What happens when you put a hopelessly "romantic" man-hussy and a girl with a soft spot for bedtime activities (not THOSE activities, silly!) together in a dark bedroom? Well, I don't happen to know either, so I suppose we'll find out together, won't we? Come with me, Tia C. Spencer, on a lovely ride through the countryside... er, lakeside... okay, so we won't actually be riding NEXT to anything, but it will be lovely, I promise you that. How can it not be, with me as your illustrious (and quite possibly mad) companion?

And no, contrary to beliefs very likely impressed upon you by this summary, I'm not a gormless prat.

Well... not entirely.

I have been an avid fan of this story for a few months now, scouring MNFF daily for updates to it. And now that I've finally decided to register here, I can review. (: I adore it all. Your writing style is absolutely fabulous, and I find myself laughing almost constantly. I think you have Sirius just right, the way you portray him is just as I have always pictured him to be like. And Tia is a wonderful OC character...I think you've done a fabulous job. It can be hard sometimes to introduce an OC as a main character without accidentally turning her/him into a Mary Sue, but you have managed to avoid that and for that I salute you. XD Great job!

Author's Response: Yay for registering! *happydance* Tia's elated to hear you don't think she's a fluttering twat (... er...) and thanks you very kindly for your willingness to give her a chance, despite her OCness. Woot for LadyBillywig! ^_^

Sirius...yummmm. *swoons* And to clear up any misunderstanding caused by my last review (even though I'm sure you probably don't care either way haha), I have absolutely no problem with OCs. ^_^ Just badly written ones, haha. It's rare that I find one in a fan fiction that I really really like, which is why this story is like a goldmine for me. XD I lurve Tia, she's awesome. And now I am done. ^_^

I am in love with this. The way you portray the Trio is very canon and realistic, and I love the whole thing with the cat. The whole feel of it is really good...mysterious, exciting, and sort of....keeps-you-on-the-edge-of-your-seat. I would really love to see what you could do with this if you chose to continue. Great job!
