Heya! I'm Hanni!
My interests include (but are not limited to): Reading, Writing, Singing, Track, and Volleyball.
I belong to the forums and all that fun stuff. I am a Gamma in the BA, and I am also in the SBBC! I LOVE being a Gryffindor! *huggles Gryffies*
I have a couple things I'd lurve to share with you.
Alise-This one is going great! I am currently writing the chappies and they will be up shortly.
Angel - FIN! WOOT! It was really only three chapters, but I finished it!
I'll be around!

You're talking to a girl (or reading her review, anyway) that is in love with this fic!
You've got the characterizations down pat! Lily isn't completely for going out with James, but she isn't completely against it, and that's always how I imagined her in her seventh year.
And I love James characterization too! He's (of course) chasing after Lily, and it seems to be working. =)
I also love the humor you put into the story! I can just see Lily shielding her eyes as she walks into a bedroom where her friend and Sirius have...well..you know. =) It makes it all that much more enjoyable!
The plot is also very original, as well. I like the idea of Harry going through his parents' things. There aren't enough fics where he learns about his parents, and I believe that you have captured this wonderfully!
I can't wait for the next update!

Author's Response: I\'m particularly glad you commented on the fic being original, I really worked hard to do something that I\'ve never read or heard about. Also I\'m rubbish with developing plots and sub-plots, so it\'s like lots of different oneshots in the wrong order. :P
I\'ve always wondered what his parents did to defy U-No-Poo three times, so I\'ll try and work some more of that in, too.
Thanks for the review, xxxxxxxxxxxx
OMG, I am a huge fan of the story that came before this and am elated that you are writing a sequel! *supersquee*
--Hanni
I was giggling the whole entire time. Really.

Author's Response: Thanks, I\'m glad you enjoyed it!
I had the honor of being assigned to read your fic as part of the QSQ Commitee that chose your fic. (We divided up the stories nominated amongst ourselves and then voted.)
Let me tell you, you thouroughly deserved this QSQ. Your characterization was impeccable and made me snort up Mountain Dew all the way through. =)
Congratulations on your award!

How awesome was that?!
This is an absolutely horribly good, tear-jerkingly awesome fic. The way in which you display emotion is wonderful. It's amazing how much of a grip you have on human nature.
It's so true; we're all human in the end. And you don't really realize it until you're in this great tradgedy, and you miss comfort. Draco deserved a comforting hand as he died, like everyone else on that battlefield who was dying and missed their loved ones.
This is an amazing story, and it's changed my perspective on the value of life and how I treat others.
Thank you for such a wonderful insight!
--Hanni
Author's Response: What a wonderful review, thank you so much! I\'m giddy with joy that you caught the emotion perfectly and managed to catch the point of the story - more than just about Draco, it\'s about all each and every one of US. Thanks again!
I love this fic so far! I herby say that I am going to be your most devoted reader. =)
You have amazing talent, and the emotions you convey through your writing are just mindblowing!
Your characterization is wonderful here!
But, if Harry died, how did Lily survive? What about the prophecy? How is Voldy going to die? I really hope you continue this fic. I can't wait for chapters to come up!

This is a wonderful fic!

Author's Response: Thank you!
I am in love with this fic!! Teehee. Remus/Tonks is my new OTP. I love Tonks, she is my favorite character! =)
Are you planning to incorporate DH events into this?
--Hanni
Author's Response: Thanks for the review!!!!!
I am planning to incorporate DH events in this, although with the rate the queue is progressing to get chapter 2 accepted, it may take some time. Hopefully chapter 2 will be accepted and I can submit chapter 3 before going to camp tomorrow, but at this rate it doesn\'t seem very likely....
anyway, thanks for the review!!!!1

Um, Megan? You've reached the epitome of genius, here. (I mean, besides Chris Crutcher...O_O)
Your imagery was awesome. The opening paragraph was the most amazing thing I've ever read. You could give Tolkien a run for his money.
I love your characterisation of Sirius. It was horribly in-character. You could always tell that he was hiding a bit behind what he did, but you never read a fic where it's displayed. His family issues seem to really mean more to him than meets the eye here, and I like it. He isn't just a reckless prankster with no sense.
This is a true masterpiece. One of my favorite characters (and lovers :P) is Sirius, and it's so hard to find someone to write him in an in-character setting.
Thanks for writing this, Megan!
--Hanni
heylo!
I'm just reviewing to say that I have made a banner for this fic, for a BA challenge, because I loved it so much! If you want, I can email it to you or what ever, but in the meantime, your fic was great!
--Hanni
Author's Response: Hanni, I\'m touched. I\'d love to see the banner you made. ~Ken
I am loving this fic so much at the moment! I can't wait for the next update!

Author's Response: You do?! *beams* Gosh. Thank you so much! I\'ve already submitted my next chapter to my beta, so expect something soon.
Stubby!
This is one heck of a poem; it made me tear up. =)
You don't see many things from Dumbledore's POV, especially poems, and this is really refreshing.
This characterisation of him is really well-done. He is so afraid to hurt those around him, and he feels so much remorse for everything he's done.
a train is coming
This is one of my favorite lines in the whole poem. It shows just how he is waiting to be forgiven, waiting for aburden to be lifted from his shoulders. It sent chills down my spine.
me wonder
if what i did was
right; everything
This made me tear up, because of COURSE he did it right. He's Dumbledore, but he just doesn't see himself in the same light everyone else does. I was happy when JKR made him more human and less godlike in DH, but it never changed my view of him.
I also love the way you set it up, and the way you wrote it. It makes it really effective, and makes it seem like his thoughts are scattered, which I'm sure they are.
And congrats on First Place for Infamous Words. *high fives* I can see why you won, dear. =)
--Hanni
Author's Response: *blush*\r\n\r\nAw, thanks, Hanni. When I wrote this I was fresh off DH and still in awe of/confused about the epic ending. \'King\'s Cross\' was then my favourite chapter, so I wanted to do something to explain Dumbledore\'s POV in poetry-form.\r\n\r\n*grins again*\r\n\r\nPlus, I just love getting reviews and lovely compliments.\r\n\r\nThanks again!\r\n\r\n-Stubby
Draco is apprehended by members of the Order and held for questioning. While Harry and Ron search for Horcruxes, Hermione has to stay behind and is asked to tend to their ‘guest’. After two months of confinement, a beaten down Draco and a frustrated Hermione start a tentative friendship, based entirely on loneliness. Draco is set free after agreeing to help the Order, but when Harry and Hermione are captured by Death Eaters, he has to decide whom he will betray, his master, or the girl he can’t stop thinking about.
I have made a few minor changes to chapter 9, I changed the direction of the end of the story so it was neccassary. Chapter 10 is in the que now.
"Friendship is the hardest thing in the world to explain. It's not something you learn in school. But if you haven't learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven't learned anything."
-Muhammad Ali
Kristy, this is such a wonderful start to this fic! It's got me hooked so far!
One of the wonderful things about this fic is that you don't just jump right into the plot. Some writers just take and make the second chapter the start of the plot, but you just ease into it, setting the scene slowly. This is really going to make for a better fic; keep it up!
Also, I love Hermione's parents. Wherever did you come up with the name Raleigh? I love that city in North Carolina, it's really pretty.
You have a wonderful writing style, and I've loved everything you've written. Keep it up, dear!
--Hanni
Author's Response: Thank you Hanni. I researched British names and just looked until I found one that I thought fit his character description that I had created. It was fun since there is no real description of her parents anywhere. I hope you read the rest of it and thank you for the review.
So sad.
Tonks is my all time favorite character, and it tore me apart when she died. I wore black for awhile. I was a depressed girl.
This story really puts it all in perspective, and I'm glad you wrote it; it was beautiful! Thank you!
--Hanni
Author's Response: Thanks a lot Hanni. I\'m glad I wrote it as well :D It was one of the many bouncing plot bunnies that hopped into my head after reading DH :)
~Nicole
Suzie! I red this fic when I made teh banner, and meant to review later!
This was really wonderful! Your word choice is wonderful!
--Hanni
Author's Response: thank you hon!! ily! :D
Aww please update soon!
Author's Response: Thank you and I\'ll be sure to!
I am now officially a Lily/Sirius shipper. You need to make this a chaptered fic. LOL
