Hello! I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, and I'm guessing that if you're reading this you are too.

'my name is [...] and i like cheese, Harry Potter and long strolls on the beach.' (jk) (thanx marry_me_rupert)

FYI:
I'm in Hufflepuff (if you didn't already figure that out)

My HP crush is Fred Weasley (so don't even think about it!).

My favorite HP book is the Order of the Phoenix.

My favorite HP professor is Lupin.

My favorite teacher in real life is my 7th grade English teacher (hopefully you know who you are and thank you for being the best English and homeroom teacher ever! I miss you!).

Some of my favorite things to do (besides read and write) are to go to the beach, spend time with friends and family, and to catch (and then relese) lightning bugs.

My favorite non-Harry Potter movies are Shining Through, Connie and Carla, Meet the Parents, and Fun with Dick and Jane.

My favorite broadway show is Wicked (If you ever have a chance to see it you should!).

My favorite songs (at the moment) are "Bad Day" and "Walk Away" and "Gone".

My favorite tv shows are American Idol and the Amazing Race.

I play the flute! Band rocks!

I love to write!

I want to be a journalist or a novelist (or both) when I grow up. Hopefully someday I'll be on the bestseller list, but that not like my goal in lfe or anything. Maybe I'll just write book reviews that are published on the same page as the best seller list in the New York Times, that'd be cool too.

Well I kind of went all random on you there! Whatever!

Well... I hope you enjoy my stories (and my bio, actually)! Please, please, please review (my stories, not my bio, I don't need to know what you think of my favorite movies)!!!

Thanks!

Which HP Kid Are You?

Which Hogwarts house will you be sorted into?

Anyway . . . Thanks for reading all the wy to the end of my bio!

I just remembered that I forgot to tell you something!
My favorite animal is a flying monkey! If I were an anamangus (which, unfotunatly, I am not) I would totally be a flying monkey! They are not evil (like they say in the "Wizard of Oz"). They are just framed and misunderstood, just like the Wicked Witch of the West. (If you do not understand this it is becaus you haven't seen "Wicked", the best broadway show ever!) Hey, they arte kinda like Sirius Black, to put it into Harry Potter terms.

And now you most likely think I'm completely insane! In a good way, though, right?

I thought so.

Bye Bye, now! I'm off to go feed my happy clan of flying monkeys! I mean, erm, my cat.

A Single Act of Kindness by Sly Severus

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Petunia Dursley has a problem with the wizarding world, and an even bigger problem with her sister. It all started when Lily went away to Hogwarts. But that wasn't enough to completely tear the sisters apart. What finally ended their relationship forever was a single act of kindness.

I LOVED your story. That might sound strange because it was so sad, but I really liked it. It made perfect sence, too. We don't really know how James and Lily defied Voldemort the 2nd time or exactly why the Dursleys hated them (beside the fact that they were different). And Harry's grandparents are never mentioned. So your story makes perfect sence. Any way, I really liked the plot. Keep up the good work.

Author's Response: Thanks so much for the kind review. I\'m glad you enjoyed my story. It has always bothered me that there has never been any mention of any of Harry\'s grandparents. I thought he would have been asking questions.

One Step Closer by Vader

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: What has kept Harry Potter on his feet through all he has faced? Here is a short free verse poem with a thought on that.
Reviewer: hufflepuffgal Signed
Date: 06/19/06 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Wow! Good job. I like the was it was writen, the 4 line verses. I can't exactly picture Harry saying this, though. It seems like most of the time when he expresses emotions it's in an angry way. But, of course, this poem couldn't have been written about anyone else. Maybe if it had been wrutten in 3rd person, intead of 1st, it would have made more sence to me. But this is just a suggestion. I still really like it. I just can't picture Harry saying it, but I can picture someone else saying it, telling about Harry. Although that might mess up the flow of the poem, I don't know.
Anyway, that would be the only thing I would change, but you don't have to if you don't want to.
Keep up the good work.

Author's Response: Yeah, that\'s fair. I don\'t know if he would say these things out loud either. Maybe they\'re just thoughts. Thanks for the review, I appreciate you taking the time to tell me what you thought.

Talking To My Head About It by HermioneG

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: I didn’t do that, I didn’t do that, I didn’t do that, I didn’t do that, I didn’t do that, I didn’t! It didn’t happen. It’s never happened. I didn’t do it, I didn’t do it, I didn’t do it, I didn’t do it, I didn’t- OH, GOD, I DID! A slightly amusing one-shot about Lily Evans.

I enjoyed your story. I don't think you needed the cursing, though. Also in one part you didn't capitalize Miss before Lily Evans. But other than that good job. I found your story very amusing.

Author's Response: Thank you for pointing that out!

Would You Belive Me? by Ravenclawchik6

Summary: A little poem about GInny's thoughts on Harry

Wow1 I really liked this. i liked the rythem of having a sentance and then a question. keep up the good work. I just have 1 question. What is the P.S. supposed to mean?

Author's Response: this is a poem from the letter sent to Harry while he is on the hunt. so basically they never really sorted things out when he was there for the wedding.....so this is her way of saying that she is waiting and misses him the PS is just clearing that up the poem itself are all the feelings she has and her take on the break up.

So near, yet so far by Blossomlily

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Towards the end of the war, Hermione is blinded. In this poem, she expresses how much she misses the thing she loved most when she had the sight.

Wow! I really liked this poem. It makes so much sense. I just don't understand the "but now I am happy" line. What is that supposed to mean. Is there something I am missing, not understanding.

Author's Response: The line essentially means that she is trying to content herself with what she has left, and not sinking into the depths of her misery. I did try to make it sound more like the optimistic Hermione we know, but it came out rather confusing, I suppose. Thanks for reviewing, I\'m glad you liked it! :)

Those of whom we speak by Foxy Wolf

This was an interesting idea for a poem. I liked it, but it seemed short.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review and I might as well admit it; I specialize in short poetry ;-)

I liked this. I loved how you used "Not prim or polished, but perfect" repetitivly. That was my fav. line in your oem. Good job.

Author's Response: Thanks for your review!!! I\'m usually not good at writing poetry, but in English, we were made to write a love poem that focused on the inperfections of people, and this idea came into my head. There is a challenge that I wrote to write a story or poem based on the same guidelines if you are interested!!! x x x long live the fairies x x x

I love it! I am a fan of the Weasley twins. I like the rythemand rhyme of your poem. Good job.

Author's Response: thanks! I love the twins too, and I can never seem to write a poem without rhyming. Dear me. lol. =) GG

Today Was A Day Just Like Any Other by faithfulchild

Say the Right Thing by Bianwen

Reviewer: hufflepuffgal Signed

I like this poem very much. It goes very well with your other poem, Hermione's Revenge. Good job keep up the good work. You might consider writing more poems in this style, but about other characters, like Remus and Tonks or something like that. i don't know. Just an idea.

Author's Response: er...revenge? i believe it was dilemma :)

The Way We Were by Periwinkle

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Ginny reflects on her broken relationship with Draco.
Reviewer: hufflepuffgal Signed
Date: 07/07/06 Title: Chapter 1: The Way We Were

I liked this poem. It was very short. When I read your summary I was wondering exactly what this poem would be like. I thought it was going to tell a story. I wish it had, although I do like this too. It's just that I don't know anything about this "relationship". I was sort off hoping this poem would explain more. I liked your poem, it's just that it didn't answer my questions.

Author's Response: Thank you. However, it did tell a story in a way. In the beginning, their relationship was going perfectly. Everything about it. They were happy. They were satisfied. But then something horrible happened. A trick or rumor, perhaps. Draco didn\'t trust Ginny anymore. The rest of the poem tells how their relationship deteriorated. Hope that clears things up! Thanks for the review!

Draco's Destiny by Sly Severus

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Lucius and Narcissa discuss Draco's future as a Death Eater.
Reviewer: hufflepuffgal Signed
Date: 07/12/06 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Wow! This is amazing. I really enjoyed this. It's like you don't want to picture this side of the Malfoys yet it makes sence. It isn't in their normal charactor, but it still dosen't seem too out of charactor to me. The whole story I was wondering when this was supposed to be. Then at the end you tied it all together when you told where Lucius had to go. And he never would be back. How sad for her!

Anyway, great job! I'm adding this to my favorites list! :)

Author's Response: Thanks for the review. Glad you enjoyed it. It\'s also nice to hear your opinion on my characterization. I do a lot of stories about the Malfoys and the Blacks where they don\'t act the way they do in the books. It does make it a bit hard to keep their character the same. I also feel that we haven\'t seen much of their true character, as we\'ve really only seen how they interact with people they clearly have problems with, like Harry and the Weasleys.

As for the timeline, I had a little trouble with it. I had to think about where to put it, since Draco became a Death Eater after Lucius was arrested, but it seemed to fit good before the DOM escapade. I also considered not mentioning the timeline in the story, and simply explaining it in an author\'s note, but I decided it was better to include it at the end.

Thanks again, for the lovely review!

Summary: After the war, a warrior feels completely alone. Everyone is gone. Even the one whom she thought would never die.

Date: 07/12/06 Title: Chapter 1: She Walked: A Poem

Ok. This is an interesting poem. I can tell you have talent, although this poem was confusing to me. Is the only one that ever mattered Ron? Did she kill herself or was she mudered? I did like the kind of poem, the structure. It''s just that I didn't get it.

Author's Response: Thank you for the constructive criticism. No, Ron was the one that kind of tipped her all the way over. The straw that broke the camel\'s back.

You...Me. by Bianwen

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Ginny's POV poem about her love of Harry, and the joy of their first kiss.
Reviewer: hufflepuffgal Signed

I really liked this poem. I liked the pattern, long line, short line. That was cool. I just didn't like the last 4 lines. But besides that it was great.

Author's Response: really? the last 4 lines are my favorite! lol

My Scar by bacilo_lily

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Ginny is still in love with Harry even after he breaks up with her at the end of HBP. This poem shows how she feels about their break up.
Reviewer: hufflepuffgal Signed
Date: 07/19/06 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1

This was an interesting poem. I have a few suggestions, though. These are just an opinions, and I'm not saying my way is right. Here they are:

1) If I were you I would't have put so much space between the lines. I wouldn't have put any space between the lines, and only one blank line between each of the stanzas. But that's just me.

2) I have a question about one of the lines in your poem. It reads: I told him I wouldn’t. I was wondering if you ment to say I told him IT wouldn't. I enterpreted your meaning as she was saying she wouldn't break up with him. My way means that breaking up wouldn't protect her. Either way is fine, though.

3) Ok, last of all I'm just verifying. Her scar is a broken heart, correct?

Author's Response: thanks for the suggestions. when i wrote it there weren\'t that many spaces, i don\'t know what happend. Yeah, her scar is her broken heart.

This was a cool poem because it was so unique. I'm just curious What exactly is the definition of a Cinquains? They remind me, sort of, of diamonte poems that I was assigned to write n the 7th grade. I'm just wondering if there is a difference and what it is. I just want to learn something new.

Author's Response: Thank you so, so super duper mucho!!!! A Cinquain is a five line stanza poem. It starts out with the name, then it has two traits about them, then three gerunds (verb+ing) and then a sentence about them and the last line is one word basically of your choice, so i just chose the last name : ) Thank you for the review!

Author's Response: as for the diamonte poems, i\'m not exactly sure if there is much of a difference. sorry!

The Chessboard by Princess_Nagini

I really love this poem. Great job!

One question:

Who won??

Author's Response: Thanks! And that\'s the question. Even though Harry kills Voldemort, Voldemort has ruined Harrys\' life - so in a way, voldy won. Does this help? Ty!

I love the line:

That is a great ending.

Great Job!!

Keep up the good work!
