It has been about four years since Voldemort was defeated. Neville Longbottom has a comfortable life teaching at Hogwarts with all his friends, yet he is missing something in his life. Then he meets Aurora Hitchcock, owner of a Potions shop in Hogsmeade Village. Together they frantically work on an ancient potion for protection from a devastating spell, in the shadow of a rising threat. Before they can discover the unknown enemy, someone from Aurora’s past returns. What will happen when ancient Potions meet modern Herbology?

So what did Hermione need to tell Harry? Did I miss that? Wonderfully long chapter! I can't believe the wolfbane potion worked-YEAH! Fred & George are amazing! I love the way your chapters flow, especially the dialogue. I've been trying to do that in my own work and haven't been nearly as successful. But then again, I haven't written anything since high school and which is longer than I care to admit. I love your style of writing & I hope you don't mind if I take some pointers from it. Can't wait for the next chapter!
Author's Response: Chapter 15. She was trying to tell him that they had forgotten to alert the DA. Harry freaked out while talking with Molly. Luna came to the rescue, having already known that they would need their help. I\'m glad you liked the chapter. They came easily since they were light and happy. I am having writer\'s block on chapter 17, mostly in part due to the crisis my life has become, but also because it is much darker than these past few. Thank you for your compliments on my writing style. They mean a great deal since I got a rather pointed email a few days back that told me my writing style was awful and juvenile. It probably is a bit juvenile, as am I, despite my ripe old age. Please feel free to email me. The next chapter is in the queue already. Don\'t read it too fast! There may be a short break before I can get chapter 17 done.
