It has been about four years since Voldemort was defeated. Neville Longbottom has a comfortable life teaching at Hogwarts with all his friends, yet he is missing something in his life. Then he meets Aurora Hitchcock, owner of a Potions shop in Hogsmeade Village. Together they frantically work on an ancient potion for protection from a devastating spell, in the shadow of a rising threat. Before they can discover the unknown enemy, someone from Aurora’s past returns. What will happen when ancient Potions meet modern Herbology?

This is the story of Harry J. Potter and Ginny M. Weasley, their lives, friendships, realtionships and everything in between. Life doesn't always take the road they expect or want, but they soon learn that no matter what they do or how hard they try, the world stops for no man and that simply put, Life Happens.
Primarily Harry/Ginny but with Ron/Hermione background. Picks up after the end of book 5 and continues into Post-Hogwarts.

Great chapter! I'm not surprised that Charlie was worried, I've always thought he was the most protective over Ginny. I think Harry is proving himself worthing to Charlie, little by little. Harry seems really happy and ready to start his life with Ginny by his side. Ginny seems happy too, but part of her is still scared. I can understand that. It's hard to believe that something you've wanted for so long is finally happening; there's always a little fear that it isn't real. If Harry keeps doing what he's doing and loving her like he does, she' finally believe it. Wonderful chapter! I can't wait for more!!!!
Author's Response: yeah, for some reason i always see Charlie as the one worrying the most....maybe because he has had the least contact with harry or i see him being the closest to Ginny...i dunno....

Absolutely fantastic chapter!!!! How terribly embarrassing to be caught almost in the act by family. They handled that with grace. Lots of fabulous announcements! Any details about that one-shot you're doing? Can't wait for more!!
Author's Response: well i actually have two oneshots going both songfics....one thats a missing moment from this story and the other is....not....its going to have a major byot warning....its very sad and very unlike my usual stuff but im really loving it so far so hopefully i\'ll get it done soon...

I LOVE the fluff, but a slight amount of angst would be ok. Not enough to break them apart, but maybe have a good row when they return to the 'real' world. I think Harry REALLY needs to know that this is real and maybe give him some incentive to buy a ring. Just my opinion. You have a fabulous story. I was so excited to see an update!

The antler and red nose part was hilarious! Oh, poor Harry, but he handled it like a man! harry really did a smart thing there. I know that I would really love to have a matching set of earrings, necklace, and bracelet; most women do. Now he can spread out the gifts. Great for him and more exciting for her. That was very clever on your part! After everything Harry's been through, he deserved his day to gloat over his cousin and uncle. I'm looking forward to seeing what Ginny's been working on for Harry. I do hope Ron finds a good gift for Hermione, especially since she's pregnant, it had better be good. A back massage every day until the baby is born would be a good start. Great chapter. Lots of fun. Looking forward to the next one.

I think the Probaur magia is a fantastic idea! They need away to tell who's lying. I also like the name Gurf for the kitten. It seems to fit him. Great chapter! Harry is becoming quite the romantic! The end of the chapter was perfect.
Author's Response: thank you for the compliments! I always hated the fact that so many got away. I did some research, and Probatur Magia sounded like a plausible developement. There will be more original spells in future chapters. I have 2 pages of Latin I am trying to fit in here and there.

Still sends shivers down my spine when I read that chapter! Like I said before, I have to read your chapters several times to catch everything & I still think I miss things-very intense stuff! I think the part about the penseive & grief & madness was beautifully written. Very emotional! I worry so much about Hermione writting the book about Harry's life-worried he won't be there at the end...sniff sniff. I liked seeing Neville's understanding side. Glad that Harry was able to exress to Dumbledore what he, his help, & love has meant to Harry before Dumbledore died. One thing I want to be sure that I am understanding correctly-technically Ginny is pregnant, but the pregnancy is in 'standby' until it's necessary? That's the part that really scares me. sniff sniff. I am very happy how quickly you get your chapters out! The anticipation for the next novel is building! Great job!

Yes- you are correct. Ginny IS pregnant right now, but \'standby\' is a good way of thinking on it. THe egg has been fertilized but will not begin to develop unless Harry is dead and gone. Should Harry not \'be gone\', there is another potion she can take to begin development whenever they decide they want to start having children. :-)
