It has been about four years since Voldemort was defeated. Neville Longbottom has a comfortable life teaching at Hogwarts with all his friends, yet he is missing something in his life. Then he meets Aurora Hitchcock, owner of a Potions shop in Hogsmeade Village. Together they frantically work on an ancient potion for protection from a devastating spell, in the shadow of a rising threat. Before they can discover the unknown enemy, someone from Aurora’s past returns. What will happen when ancient Potions meet modern Herbology?

Harry Potter and the Dynasty of the Wand by Lady Snuffles
Rated: 3rd-5th Years •Summary: The fact that opposites attract might be one reason for Ron and Hermione’s new endearment towards each other. By the time the Hogwarts Express pulls into Hogsmeade Station for another year at Hogwarts, every witch and wizard on the train knew something had changed drastically between the two friends. Harry and Ginny on the other hand decide to keep their relationship a secret because of a “dream” Harry has about ‘You Know Who.’ If their secret love is discovered by the wrong people it could possibly cost Harry and Ginny their lives.

Date: 01/23/07 Title: Chapter 15: Charlie's Challenge
Poor Harry! For some reason I think Charlie is going to take it a lot better than Harry thinks he will. Maybe a lecture, detension, but I think his life is safe. Ginny and Hermione are very lucky girls. Who would have thought Ron could be so romantic. I think it's in all men, but some are too daft to ever figure it out. :) Great chapter. I can't wait to see what happens next.
Author's Response: Thanks for the great review. Yeah, you were all lucky with this chapter because I was in a very sappy mood while writing this which of course make the fluff so much fluffier.

Oh no! Poor Lupin and Bill. What a horrible dream/vision/whatever it was. Both Harry and Ginny had to experience that, so very sad. Very exciting chapter, can't wait for more.

Wow that was great! Yeah, I'm so happy that Ginny is okay, she has a long way to go, but she's alive! Cool ending to this story, great opening for the sequel. As for the numbers, I really have no clue. On a phone the numbers spell out the color 'grey', but other than that, I can't figure it out. I'll have to think about it some more. We have a lot to look forward to this summer, don't we?! I'm sad that it's over too, but so very happy we get a sequel. Wonderful story!

The proposal was beautiful! Very well done. I;'m surprised at Fred and George's reactions though. They've always liked Harry and I can see them thinking that only he's good enough for their little sister, but that's just my opinion. I'm surprised that Hermione allowed Ron to watch Harry propse to Ginny! I would be tempted to watch too though. :) That pillow was a nice gift. It will be hard for Harry and Ginny to be apart. Great chapter! I loved it. Can't wait for more.

Personally my point of view from Fred and George is that NO ONE is good enough for Ginny so ANYONE that tries is on their hit list. They want Ginny to grow up an old unmarried woman with fifteen cats and only secret desires for men in any way shape or form.

Tonks and Lupin engaged! How wonderful! I loved how Harry found out and how he yelled at Lupin. The letter from Lily was very touching. Love this chapter. I am so excited for more, please update quickly!

I didn't think Charlie could have been too mad if he didn't kill Harry on the spot. Light detention, but it was for show. Charlie sure knows McGonagall well; he was right, she would have found out someway. I really liked how Harry took care of Ginny, bringing her food and threatening to take away her books if she didn't eat. Very sweet. I was really touched by that. It's one of those small things that people do that don't seem like anything, but really shows how much they care. Great chapter. :)
Author's Response: I\'ve always loved that about some of my friends. They make me eat because otherwise they tell me that I\'m too skinny, I\'m going to get sick, and not having enough body fat will make me cold. lol

But, there's is something much worse. Will she stay by him faithfully or will it be too much?
Excerpt: Harry still could not believe that Dumbledore was dead. Every time the thought came to his mind, Harry always tried to think of something else. But then his mind would normally shift to Ginny and he’d rather think about Dumbledore than ponder his feelings on her again. Why does everything have to be so complicated? Harry thought as he tried hard to fall back asleep.

I promise the story gets much better. I set the category at romance R/H and H/G because its general but has LOTS of shipping moments.
