I like this story. It's funny. I can't wait to see what happens during the fateful art classes.

Author's Response: I have an odd sense of humor, so I\'m glad that someone else thinks I\'m funny. Thanks! Cheers, Mollie

That was so funny! Great job! I was laughing really hard!

Author's Response: Thank you! I\'m glad you liked it. <3

The First Letter by GWeaz

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Everyone knows that Lily hated James. That is, until a special bottle worked its magic on them. When Lily is distraught from the death of her parents she can't imagine life without them. She finds a letter in a bottle that gives her strength to go on. Who was this boy that wrote to her? Could there possibly be someone out there that loved her so deeply?

This is the prequel to my other story, Message in a Bottle. It isn't essential that you read that one first, but it might be helpful.

I loved this chapter! It was perfect! I love the cheeky Lily turnaround, and Sirius is so funny. It was great!

Author's Response: Thanks for the review!!! I\'m glad that you think Sirius is funny, sometime I think that the comical characters are the hardest to write, so I am glad that it paid off.

Good chapter. A bit short, but cute. I liked how Lily was on the list for so long. It makes me wonder though...

Author's Response: Yes, it was short, sorry. I really didn\'t have any idea what I was going to do with that chapter. I pretty much dug myself a hole with the sorting hat and had to climb my way out. As to Lily being on the list for so long, I like that you thought that was a good idea, I guess we will both have to wait and see what happens with that.

Love, Werewolves, and Animagi by Mistletoe

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Hullo! I'm Lily Evans, and I'm starting my seventh year at Hogwarts soon. I'm Head Girl with James Potter, which I'm secretly thrilled about, emphasis on the secretly. Seriously secretly, like even to me, kind of. Well, I must be off!

Hey! Lily! Oh, sorry, so rude of me, I'm Anna, Anna Boothe. Lily's uh, hold on let me grab my trunk, it's just slipped out of my fingers. Where was I? Oh yes, Lily's best friend. We're inseperable, really. Like two peas in a pod and whatnot. Where is she, anyway? Er, well it was nice meeting you, I've got to go catch the train!

Oi! Did you just see Evans? I've been looking for her and I thought I just saw her here. I'm rather excited about being Head Boy with her; it'll give me a chance to show her the real James Pot--

What are you going on about, Prongs? Why are you even listening to this nutter? We've got to catch the train. Probably talking to you about Evans, am I right? He would talk to a tree about Evans if he could. Moony, Wormtail, help me get this starry-eyed git onto the train before it leaves without us...

You two are helpless, don't you think, Pete?

More helpless than two Grindylows out of water...

-----

This is Lily and Anna's final year at Hogwart's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Lily is hiding her secrets from everyone, even herself. Anna is as noncommittal as ever. James is getting his act together. Peter is thinning out. And unbeknownst to everyone, Remus and Sirius are gallivanting off to unseen parts of the castle. Amidst all said frolicking, Lily notices something very strange about the single days that Remus Lupin is missing and all tranquility goes awry.

This is a really good beginning. I like how it's told from Lily's POV. It's refreshing. Keep going?

Author's Response: Of course I will keep going! Thanks for the review.

The Laws of Attraction by Dragon Rider

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: James is mad over Lily Evans. He can’t get her out of his thoughts, out of his heart. He tried to win her over many times and every single time he was turned down. Still, he continues to pursue her with a half-crazed obsession. Lily swore never to have anything to do with James Potter and his conceited ways. The laws of attraction are confusing and dangerous though and without her consent she begins to fall for him over the last two years of school.

Fifth Chapter, Padfoot or Evans? is being written. I'd like a few more reviews before I submit it, but it isn't a requirement, of course. Just a wish by me. As for those who have already reviewed - thank you so much! I'm glad to have you all! *hugs* Never fear, for chapter five is drawing near!

I loved it! I hope Lily doesn't like Sirius though. Maybe it's just to make James annoyed or something. I love how you went from Lily to James to Sirius. Usually one doesn't get Sirius' POV. Maybe one of Lily's friends or something? I can't wait for the next chapter. Great one!

Author's Response: Thanks! *hugs* As for Lily liking Sirius... I can\'t really say since that would ruin the next chapter! And I really did enjoy doing Sirius\' POV. He\'s a good guy though a little arrogant (okay, maybe more than a little) and looking at the world thorugh his eyes was a blast! As for the next chapter\'s POV, you\'re right. It\'s going to be Holly Willis\' POV. But anyway again - thanks for the review!

I like this story a lot. It was a great start! I love how Harry isn't there. It gives everyone else the chance to see Harry's parents. I can't wait to read more!

Author's Response: Yea, at first I wrote it with Harry there, but then I liked that only his friends were there. Thanks for the review!

And the Sky Was on Fire by Aelan Greenleaf

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: I held your cold body against mine, as I shivered from both shock and grief. You were gone, and I had never even known you. And the skies above us were on fire, on fire with the new dawn, the dawn you would never see. And I cried.

I love all of your stories. This one is so sad, you are a terrific author and have a talent for getting readers to really understand and picture what you are saying. It was great, as all are of your stories. You are a great writer.

His Hero by Witch Writer

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: James has never felt so miserable in his entire life. The man that he looked up to the most, his hero, is gone forever. Worse than that, the way it had happened left so many unanswered questions. But when his best friend comes to comfort him, he learns a little more about himself and the real meaning of 'hero'.

From a Different Angle by butterflykisses

Summary: This is a James/Lily one-shot inspired by an In-House challenge. It's the tale of when James asks Lily out for the very last time.
Reviewer: KASK Signed
Date: 08/31/06 Title: Chapter 1: One-Shot

That was very sweet. I really like how you gave Lily and James friendship first. It's usually James grows up, Lily all of a sudden notices and they're dating the next day. People usually ease into things, and that's what you showed. Good job! :)

Author's Response: Yes, I\'ve never seen LIly like that. I\'ve always seen her as a very patient person, who thinks through things before actually following through. I\'m glad you liked it! Thanks for the review!

This was a cute first chapter. It was a little strange how they just kept picking people up, to be honest. It was good though. Can't wait to read more.

Author's Response: i thought it would be strange. when I first wrote it, the random meetings had a sort of ironic feeling to it, which I took out after it got rejected. I\'m happy you like it, though!

That was great! Is there more, or is it just a one-shot? I loved the end with James' comments. I love James!

Author's Response: This is a one-shot. This story is my favorite, and I won\'t risk the chance of ruination with a sequel.

Harry Potter and Viva Las Vegas! by Scheherazade

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •

Seasons of Love by Slian Martreb

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary:
The Seasons of Sirius and Remus's love.

Prompted by this: “It was a still, warm day in early July. As one looked out over the flat Essex country, lying so green and peaceful under the afternoon sun, it seemed almost impossible to believe that, not so very far away, a great war was running its appointed course.” Obviously, I stretched it a bit....

I don't often read slash. But I stumbled along this story and I have to say, it's amazing.

The writing is so beautiful. It's just lyrical. The descriptions are wonderful -- you really capture the moments of life. You can feel their relationship spiraling downward as the seasons change.

I love the way you end it. I was able to really get the feel of the period of the Dark Lord -- the fear and the insecurities, the wondering. I also like the way you tied in Harry's growing up (and birth) to Sirius and Remus' relationship.

It is simply splendid.

Author's Response:
I hesitate to say \'go read more slash\' if that\'s something you aren\'t comfortable with, but I will say that there are certainly slashy stories which are written gen enough to be understand as a really deep, true friendship. You should try to hunt some of those down, if you can
My writing is lyrical? *loves all over you* But I don\'t see it as the \'relationship\' so much as...the trust, maybe? They still want to be that close to each other. Still want to have that trust, even. That\'s what\'s so heartrending to me

Thank you so much

L'Amour Commence by Pinkerton

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •

Ahh cliffie! Great first chapter. Made me smile! Keep going.

That was cute! I wasn't sure who it was at first. I thought it was Draco/Hermione at first, and then a Neville/Luna. I liked how it was kind of a mystery. Very well done!

Author's Response: Thanks so much for reading my story, and I\'m really glad that you liked it. I\'m also glad that you liked the fact the characters weren\'t revealed, keeps you guys wondering. :) I\'m going to start working on another story this week, and you\'re more than welcome to check back for updates to my work. Thanks again!

That was so cute. I really enjoyed reading it. It was very realistic; I could see something like that actually being the reason Lily didn't like James. It was very good. :)

Author's Response: thanks, i tried to make it as realistic as possible, while still making lily and james be likeable and in character. i\'m glad you liked it!
