Hi, I'm Valentinia, your typical Harry Potter obsessed teen.
I've read the HP books so many times that I've lost count, but I'm guessing most of you on MNFF have done the same!
Otherwise, I'm pretty boring.
My favorite band is Evanescence.
My favorite HP characters are Luna "Loony" Lovegood and Petunia Dursley.
My favorite HP book is PoA.
My favorite HP chapter is "Career Advice" from OotP.
My favorite HP film is probably OotP.
My favorite HP actor is Evanna Lynch. There're a lot of great ones though!
I'm an all-out Ron/Hermione, Luna/Harry and Ginny/Neville shipper. *Sigh*. I know, I know, Canon just sort of ruined those last two. Still, Harry/Ginny was okay. I guess.
I also love stories about Parvati, Padma and Lavender, because I think they deserve some character and depth and they're often deprived of it and made into girly non-humans.
And here some cool things from other people's profiles:
Weird is good, strange is bad, and odd is when you don't know which to call someone. Weird is the same as different, which is the same as unique,so weird is good. If you are weird and proud of it, copy this onto your profile!
92 percent of American teens would die if Abercombie and Fitch told them it was uncool to breathe. Copy this in your profile if you would be the 8 percent that would be laughing your head off.
If you're one of those people who get excited when you see just two reviews, paste this into your profile.
If you've been on the computer for hours on end, reading numerous fanfictions, copy this into your profile
If you don't watch Laguna Beach or the O.C. or The Hills religiously, never have, never will, and are proud of it, copy and paste this into your profile.
You know you live in 2007 when...
1. You go to a party, sit down and take MySpace pics.
2. You haven’t played solitaire with real cards in years.
3. The reason for not staying in touch with your friends is that they don't have AIM/LiveJournal/MySpace.
4. You'd rather look all over the house for the remote instead of just pushing the button on the TV.
6. Your evening activity is sitting at the computer.
7. You read this list, and keep nodding and smiling.
8. You think about how stupid you are for reading this.
9. You were too busy to notice number five.
10. You actually scrolled back up to check if there was a number five.
11. And now you're laughing at your stupidity.
12. Put this in your pro if you fell for it. You know you did.
Ninety-five percent of teenagers are concerned about being popular. And lastly, since every profile should have an HP quiz result! :)
Nooo!! Quite vague, but in a good way. I really like his feelings after Ginny refuses him; very real, as well as the bond between him and Ron and Hermione. Poor Harry...
Author's Response: Thank you! I\'m glad you liked it.
Poor Severus, having to watch Harry doing so much so similarly to how he did it, and getting the recognition that Severus should have gotten years ago. It must be so hard for him to keep the Vow and watch over Harry like he promised.
This fic was very well-written! It really showed Severus' regrets and feelings in a realistic and understandable way. His feelings on Quidditch are especially profound, as one way he is connected to Harry. Great fic, as usual!
Author's Response: Thanks! I think he may have spent the next few years\' matches safely in his study -- out of sight, out of mind. And no, that really can\'t be easy. Too bad Harry wasn\'t Sorted into Slytherin after all, eh? It would have made someone\'s life ever so much easier.
lol! love the part with the whiskey!
oooh... wonder what's going to happen next... good chapter, all though I'm not sure that dumbledore would really show every muggleborn's parents a tour of the castle... wlel, I guess he is dumbledore... and george is special... i just don't know how! :)
Cute. Ron/Draco isn't usually a ship I read, but this story was just... sweet, even though it had some adult aspects. Draco did seem a little occ at the beginning, but I guess we never really do see into his mind in the actual books. Ron, on the other hand... I dunno about him liking Draco so fast (R/Hr shipper here... :D). He wasn't terribly ooc, though, and I found this fic quite enjoyable.
Author's Response: I\'m glad to hear this could be sweet, even through adult aspects, to a R/Hr shipper! Trying to figure out how to keep an infatuated Draco IC was most of the fun part here; I tried to make him scheme and plot and sneak his way to what he wanted, but what he wanted was the real challenge. Poor Ron. He always seemed a little conflicted to me.
One-Shot (for now)
yet another great story! it's really good how you have a pretty plausible explaination for why everything happened and how drace isn't too ooc. i also like how you kind of have the roles switched, compared to a lot of fanfics where draco leaves hermione (or ginny) heartbroken. again, great job!
wow. i really hope that the book doesn't end like this... but this was still a cool idea!
Author's Response: Thank you!
Neville reflects on what has come to be, and what could have been.
"It's kind of fun to do the impossible." -- Walt Disney
wow. i personally think that AUs where neville was the "chosen one" are really cool and this one tops all the others i've read so far!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! That\'s really sweet. I\'ve always been facinated with Neville, so I thought getting into his mind would be fun, and I was right! I never liked Harry, so that\'s why I decided to make Neville the \"Chosen one\".
Interesting, very interesting! I like the characterization of Hermione (though I don't really think she'd be that quick to obliviate a fellow student - I'm sure that's majorly against the rules!) as well as your take on Zabini and his family. I never really stopped to consider what it must be like for him, knowing of his mother's reputation, but I think you've catptured his feelings and thoughts very well!
Author's Response: Hermione breaks some rules in the books. She\'s not beyond attempted murder and blackmail, so I didn\'t think this was a stretch for her at this point in the story after she\'s fixed the Quidditch try outs. Yeah, I really hope we learn more about Blaise in book 7. He\'s mysterious, but wow, I think his home life must be horrible.
Sad. Very sad. Poor Peter. Great story.
As others have said before me, I love how the papers and the ministry are shown just the way they are: trying to get a good story and make themselves look good. It's great how bits of "the truth" are mixed in with the news article, showing the contrast of feelings - whether "right" or "wrong" doesn't really matter, just that they are human - and inhumanity (is that a word?). The interview with Peter's mother is great. I really felt sorry for her! And for Remus, at the end. He's so observant... *sigh*
Oh, poor Hermione's mum! I like the very distictive style this story has, as well as the relationship between Hermione and her mother. I think there is a special sort of "battle" that all muggle-borns (especially Hermione who has such an important role in such an important war) that you have shown very well.
Author's Response: Mmm, thank you so much. I love how readers catch on to the right things, and you\'re dead-on. If there was a target, you\'d hit the bull\'s eye. Good reviewers rock!
this story is really funny! I especially LOVE filch... i mean cat-lover 212!!! hilarious!
Author's Response: Thanks!!
LOL!! Great story!! Bit wacky, but enjoyable. Voldemort is definately just misunderstood... :D
Author's Response: Thank you!
Lol. A bit ooc (Voldemort... need I say more?) but humourously so. Love the last letter. Poor Dumby. Maybe he should try being a bit more discreet? Which reminds me... he advice for Fudge worked out, right? :D
Author's Response: Yes, well, Voldemort is having a bit of a breakdown - so maybe it can be excused? No, I know, some of them are a bit OoC, but I\'ve tried to keep them in character as much as pos. At least it\'s humourously so, though! Yes, poor old Dumby! Unfortunately (for him!0, Fudge is very stubborn, and although he could find no button on the chair, he was too stubborn to admit that Muggles had out-witted him. And since he had no way of looking at the manual (not that it would have helped!) since he threw it away on Dumby\'s advice. So he\'s stuck sitting on a too-small chair, looking rather silly! Thanks for reviewing!
Oh no! Ginny has found her in an emergency situation of dire need. Harry lies before her and Ron and Hermione are long gone. Whatever shall she do? Well, it looks like Ginny is feeling a bit Dramatic.
Lol! Babbling Beverage... :D
Author's Response: ^^ Yup. I\'m surprised it hasn\'t been used more in fanfics.
It was hard acting jolly when he was in a bit of a nark, but George Weasley pulled it off...Without a date for Fred and Angelina's engagement party, George asks Alicia Spinnet and sees his old mate in a new light.
one word: cute!!!
Author's Response: Merci! ^_~
On her 21st birthday, Coach Johnson gets a Halloween treat from the Harpies...the chance to deal with a ghost from her past. Locked in a cellar with Fred and George, Angelina proves there's something about Fred that sets him apart. His kiss.
aww that was cute, like all of your stories!! i happy george got some attention in the end, though. poor guy... listening to your brother kissing some girl in the dark can't be fun.... lol
Author's Response: Thank you for enjoying my stories! If George had a girl, he wouldn't mind so much, hearing a little...er...background noise, but you're right, sitting there a captive audience "can't be fun"! :D
that was soooo sad... and soooo good.... i cried... you really are an excellent writer!
Author's Response: Hi Valentinia! Thanks a lot! I'm glad you found my story of your taste, and I hope you like the next chapters too :)
just as i manage to stop crying about ginny an harry... i start again... for charlie and thomas and molly and arthur.... this was even sadder than the first chapter
Author's Response: Hi again :D I'm happy that you could feel what I was trying to express. I think that that is what I seek in every chapter: to really make the reader to feel it. Thank you very much for your review, it makes me happy :)
