hey, y'all--guess what? i added a new story, AND i've finished another one i'll add when the new one gets accepted. Excited?? i am!!!
UPDATE: ok, so i tried to add a new story. and, i admit, in retrospect, that it was complete rubbish--like the stuff in the beginning of my HP notebook when i first start fooling around. ok--it wasn't THAT bad, but i didn't do a nice edit job--compare harry potter five to six. But, i just submited a story that i'm very proud of--it's long too. written out, it was eighteen pages, and about eight, typed in type twelve without any formatting. i just submitted, so watch out for it. cross your fingers that it makes it through...
UPDATE UPDATE: ok...so i submitted it, and it would've been accepted except for formatting probs...so as soon as i get it fixed, it'll be out.

I LOVE harry potter, quite obviously...why else would i be here? other favorites include:
Food--pizza, chicken, steak
Sports: swimming, horseback riding
Books: Harry potter, angus, thongs, and full frontal snogging, whole series after that, halfway through eragon which is really good, inkheart, pride and predjuice, LOTR, Northhanger Abby, Uglies, Pretties, anything by Sarah Dessen, a great and terrible beauty, rebel angels, etc., etc.
ships: Ron/Hermione, Harry/Ginny, james/lily--just got into this one but it turns out to be great. i didn't want to read it at first until i found out in the seventh book what really happened, but i really like it now...
No offense, but i don't like ones like ginny/draco, hermione/draco, hermione/snape.
Songs/bands: Nickelback--faraway, saving me, how you remind me,coldplay, all-american rejects, here without u, Kelly Clarkson, Norah Jones, lips of an angel, fall-out boy, and more...

Ok, peeps. Tired of reading Harry Potter over and over and over and over again? Go read Twilight! A girl falls in love with this incredibly handsome guy who turns out to be a Vampire. Chaos insues--how can they have a normal relationship? What happens when Bella is forced on a flight for her life? What to do? Romance, love, wanting, friendship, tears, and fights for their lives happens...GREAT book. Way up there with harry potter. Go buy it. NOW. One may also consider investing in the sequal, New Moon. Remember though that the next book in the series doesn't come out until August, so read VERY slowly. this involves some self-control, though--the books were so good that i read each in a day.

i just want to tell u how exciting it was to read a lily/james story that MADE SENSE!!! no stupid cliches, (though i do like SOME) they don't fall in love in an hour(ok, a night--but still, it actually makes sense and it isn't like the ones that JAmes asks her out and she's suddenly like, omgosh, i love him, let's get married!) and Sirius acts like Sirius. BTW, i really liked how u represented Sirius. it was good, it was normal, and it made sense. Thanks for some relief!

Author's Response: It\'s coming, I promise. Real life has gotten in the way in the past few months, but I am working on it. I\'m 3/4 of the way through. Very near the end....and then I\'ve just got to go back through a couple times for revisions. I\'m 6800 words in...with 2 new pages that I\'ve just written since last night, but haven\'t been typed up yet. I swear...I\'m not working on anything else (fanfic wise) until I get this last chapter finished. Hang in there with me...okay. Not much longer. After this one scene....I\'ve got one more to write. I expect this chapter might be close to 10,000 words.
wow. i always accidently restumble across this and every single time, i have to reread it. it's a definite tie for the best part between the very crecendo of Ron and hermione's argument and the very cute ending...i have already read epilogue one, and plan on getting around to the next one soon...i really enjoy this fic everytime i read it and i like the way you actually have correct grammer/spelling/spelling and can't write WELL so it reads more like J.K rowling...

hi...your story was really good, and i didn't know it was done, or i would have read it WEEKS ago. but, i'm really disappointed that your story is rated Professors, because i honestly can't read it. but, though i am disappointed, i'm glad i was able to read this far and am glad i found your story. :D
Author's Response: Well, I\'ll tell you the same thing I\'ve told everyone else. The professor rating is for violence, and it\'s a long story, and the bits that earn it its rating are relatively small, so I would still try and read the final part and if it gets to be too much, I\"m very sorry. I was just pointing out that it\'s really funny how many people have been writing H/G fanfics based on this song...either way, I never thought you\'d gotten the idea from me. i would be crying right now if my mom wasn't in the room. I HATE it when people kill of Harry, but u did pull it off quite well. if he had to die, i was glad u were the one writing about it. i just hope he doesn't actually die in the book if i get this emotional over something that hasn't officially happened in the books. Anyways--great job. you pulled it off well, and even though you killed Harry, i REALLY like the fic.
Author's Response: Thank you for the review! Yeah, i really don\'t want harry to die in the book, but this idea popped into my head and i just had to write it. I\'ve also written another oneshot with a different main character dying, i\'ll put that up soon (yeah, i\'m evil!)

i REALLY liked your story. i kind of feel bad for Ron, as he seems to be considered the "weakest" part of the trio. however, this story shows a great side of Ron. i had tears in my eyes at the end. i was glad i read this--it was bittersweet and i really enjoyed it. if j.k. rowling wrote from molly's perspective, i think it might sound like this. 10/10
Author's Response: I too have always thought that Ron is much stronger than he appears on the surface. I believe that his contribution in the 7th book will be essential. Comparing this story to Rowling-wow! I think you\'ve just given me the most amazing compliment I\'ve ever received.
