Alright, It's about time for me to update this profile a little bit. I was getting bored with myself...

Name Origins: 'wicked angel' is a combination of two of my favorite things: the musical Wicked (delicious!) and, well, angels in general, but specifically Angel (the star of the TV show spin off of Buffy, also delicious). I also like that 'wicked' is associated with magic and 'angel' is associated with faith...I enjoy learning more about both.

Birthdate: March 2 (just turned 26, which rounds up to thirty, but I'm trying to remain positive)

Location: Northeastern Oklahoma. It's almost as boring as everything you've heard. Yes, we have running water. No, there aren't Native American teepees all over. Really, it's a pretty cool part of the world with lots of genuinely nice people.

Family: I am married to my high school/college sweetheart, and we live in the suburbs with 2 dogs that we spoil like children. Sickeningly sweet, huh?

My HP story: A good friend and coworker was mildly addicted to Mugglenet and showed me some of the fun stuff going on there. This is about the time that CoS was coming out on DVD. I hadn't seen or read anything yet, but after watching the first two movies, I went and bought the first two books, which I read in like two days. A week later, I'd read PoA and GoF, and was hungry for more. I started going to midnight book releases, and the premier of PoA the movie was actually the day of my wedding rehearsal (yes, most of my wedding party and I left the dinner early to go see the movie. good times).
Now, I'm the Mugglenet addict, and a fanfiction writer to boot!

HP Fanfiction: Let me just say, I love this world. I love the freedom and the fun and the community of avid readers and writers. I'm probably too old to get such a kick out of it, but I do! I've been a writer for a long time, but my problem writing shorter stories was that I would get hung up in character description (I still sometimes do). But here in this world, we know the characters, so I can spend more time giving you plot and drama...so much fun!!
I write just about anything, and am willing to give any ship a chance, but I have a bit of an obsession with Draco. Okay, I have a bit of an obsession with Tom Felton as Draco... You'll see the sadder, more vulnerable part of DM in some of my stories.

My OTP: To read: Remus/Sirius (I can't help it!!) To write: D/Hr (should be easy, but not so much)

What I hope you'll get from my work: I mostly just hope that I made you think about something. You don't have to agree with my theories or my pairings, I just want to make you pause for a second and go "hmm," or "i never would have thought of that."

Alright enough rambling!

Wow. Exceptionally well written. Deliciously wordy and hard to walk away from. I'm glad I got to read it all in one go. I would have probably had a fit waiting for the next installment. Nice work!

Author's Response: Thanks! I guess we share a taste for words. ^^. Yes, everybody\'s happier when the story\'s done and nobody\'s kept waiting!

Also, welcome to the website! Cheers!

i just stumbled across this, and i absolutely adore it! it was everything i was hoping it would be when i read the summary. times ten! i haven't really spared Tonks much literary thought before this, but you capture her beautifully. and don't get me started on Snape! i love him and hate him and mostly just want about 10 minutes alone with him after reading that. sad and touching, really beautiful! the world, both the one we live in and the one we lose ourselves in long enough to write about, they are both quite tragic at times...you spelled this out quite well. nicely done!

The Dark Lord's Blog by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: What does Lord Voldemort do in his spare time? Well, that's an excellent question. Who would have known that the Dark Lord has a blog? (He also has a loyal following of readers, most of whom are Death Eaters and who post their comments.) Voldemort dispenses advice on everything from murder methods to germ protection to Power Rangers to shoes, and gives an account of the life of an evil overlord. But is he posting too much personal information online? And will Harry read it and find out more about the Dark Lord than Voldemort ever intended? Read and see.

WARNING: Extremely OOC behaviour from almost all.

RUNNER-UP in the 2007 Quicksilver Quills Awards for Best Humour fic! Also nominated like 21 times, because apparently my readers are as insane as I am!

this is the funniest thing i think i've ever read. i'm having one of those "why didn't i think of that???" moments over here. please, please don't say it's really over. i need more!!

Author's Response: Thanks so much! This particular story is over, but there will probably be some sort of sequel. I\'d love some feedback as to what would go into it.

True Love Lost by nuw255

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: ONE SHOT: A woman sits alone in a cell, her thoughts consumed by her pain and loss. Finally, she gets a chance to face the one who took the life of her one true love.

The dripping had been constant from the moment she had been locked away; she suspected that her captors had placed her in this specific cell in hopes that it would drive her mad.

They needn’t have bothered. The only man she had ever loved was dead. She was already mad.

This is definitely not my usual style, so I’d love to know what you think.

Well, friend, you got me. I thought I had it figured out and then *wham* there you go with 'unnaturally green eyes.' It knocked the wind out of me. I know this isn't your usual style, but I liked it mucho! it kept me engaged and twisted me up at the end, all you had intended it to do. Bravo!

Author's Response: Thanks very much. This story doesn\'t get near the attention that my other ones do, so it\'s always fun to get a review here. Surprisingly, the next story I have planned is going to be pretty dark (although not quite this dark -- this one freaks ME out). I\'m glad I was able to pull one over on you. Makes you think, doesn\'t it?

The Second by Slian Martreb

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Per Sirius: Until of course the first full moon after that in which the lot of us woke up at the crack of dawn sort of sprawled in our usual spots around the Shack, except for me and Remus, who had in fact ended up in a sort of tangle. I didn't kiss him until the wolf was entirely gone, you understand, but I don't think anyone had ever been that close when he came out of a moon and was back in his right mind and yeah. Bloody hell. Toes. Curled. James threw a shoe at my head and threatened the hose. Bah. He was just jealous.

wow! really neat! i sang along and it worked really well! i like the way you repeated the last line of each verse, and how you retained the theme of the original carol: "with peace on earth, goodwill to men" and added a twinge of sadness. just lovely!!

Author's Response: I always try to sing the songs and tunes with the parodies. I\'m so glad that you enjoyed this, I really had fun writing it. Cyns

A Smell of Sulfur - Part One of the Romulus and Remus Trilogy by The Webspinner

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Twenty years after the death of Voldemort. A murderer is on the loose, and he is using a powerful weapon - a creature known as the Atronach, a beast of fire that leaves traces of sulfur where it makes its kill.

Ron Weasley is the first to stumble across these murders, and Harry Potter arranges for the old trio, plus Ginny, to team up and face this threat. The mysterious orphaned teenage girl Amanda, whom Harry keeps as a foster child under nebulous circumstances, also offers her help.

However, underlying the case of the murders is a much deeper conspiracy, one involving the last true disciple of the Dark Lord, a man who operates in the shadows, a man who seems to be directing and predicting the every move of the trio and their quarry...a man who may be more powerful than Voldemort himself. Even though the threat of a sadistic murderer is high, it only conceals a far greater one. And in this story of love, deception, fear, hate, anger, betrayal, courage, and passion, the unanswered question is - when will this mysterious orchestrater tip his hand? Part One of a trilogy.

Okay, can I just say I.Love.This. I saw it in the most recent stories section and thought the title looked interesting...two hours later, I'm tapping my foot impatiently for the next chapter! Not only is the plot rather addictive, your descriptions are vivid and entirely believable. Your little snippets of thesaurus aptitude (ingress and egress--brilliant!) and your underlying humor has made this a really enjoyable read so far. I know you're in trouble with the law over your grades, and real life must come first, but (to be cliche) please update soon!!

Author's Response: Um...wow. This wasn\'t one of my better chapters, but this is quite possibly the most emphatically complimentary review I\'ve gotten. Thanks!

Reviewer: wicked angel Signed
Date: 02/24/07 Title: Chapter 1: One-shot

very, very nice! touching, engaging, and well written. my only suggestion has to do with the spacing on your paragraphs. the last story i submitted here did the same thing and added several break lines between each paragraph incorrectly. it's a pretty easy fix though, and it would make your story seem more connected. i really did enjoy this--good luck in the challenge!

Author's Response: Thanks very much, good luck to you too!

The Next Great Adventure by Gmariam

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: As a trio of students races against time to protect the Philosopher’s Stone from Lord Voldemort, Nicholas Flamel has a startling dream which reveals a bleak future should they fail. Faced with a grim decision, Nicholas returns to Hogwarts to speak with his old friend, Albus Dumbledore, and determine the fate of the Wizarding world.

Beautifully done, Gina! The maze was fantastic--I love how it reminded me partly of the 3rd task of the Triwizard Tournament, partly of obstacle course-filled chamber in SS, and still maintained a wonderful originality. Flamel's vision was chilling and actually made me tear up a bit when you talked about the Death Chamber. I wish you the BEST of luck in the challenge...this is my favorite entry in this category, I must say!

Author's Response: Hi Wicked Angel! Thank you so much for the amazing review!! You are too kind. *blushes* I\'m really glad you enjoyed this story. I\'m thrilled you picked up on the similarities between this maze and Harry\'s journey toward the Stone in SS/PS. I had a line in the second part where Dumbledore remarked on it as well but didn\'t think I needed to hit people over the head with it - and I was right! The vision is horrible, I certainly hope it doesn\'t happen that way! Thank you so much for reading this story. I really appreciate the wonderful review!! ~Gina :)

The E-Journal of an Evil Janitor by Schmerg_The_Impaler

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: It's the sequel to "The Dark Lord's Blog," guys! (And girls... and, I don't know, gender-neutral people and centaurs and walruses and parameciums and shrubs and stuff.)

Several months have passed since Filch came into possession of Voldemort's magical powers, and he has taken over Hogwarts.

With Filch serving as The Dark Lord Snoogerblossom, the position of Hogwarts caretaker/janitor is open. Seeing as Voldemort wants his magical powers back, he and his extremely attractive new sidekick, Mungo Phelps, go undercover at Hogwarts, with Mungo posing as a transfer student and Voldemort posing as the new janitor. Wacky high-jinks ensue.

Join Voldemort as he tries to get back his magic, kill Harry Potter, steal Gryffindor's sword to make a shiny new Horcrux, romance Minerva McGonagall, discover Sirius's secret to becoming a chick magnet, and swallow a teaspoon of his pride to mop up spills the Muggle way and wear an unflattering uniform! WARNING: Extremely silly and very out-of-character.

If you haven't read "The Dark Lord's Blog," well, what are you doing? GO READ IT NOW! Just click on my author name and you'll be directed to my chaotic author page, which lists all my wacky stories.

This is on hiatus, dudes. Ooh! But it was twice nominated by nice (and insane) people for the Best Humour Fic award in the Quicksilver Quills thingy!

Also, some wonderful loony nominated Mungo Phelps for Best Male OC, making him if possible even more conceited! (No one had the heart to tell Mungo that he was designed as an example of a terrible OC.)

hehe, Blokeco! I do hope I'm not the only one to get that. Clever and hilarious as usual, Schmergo! I can't wait for more, preferably more on the subject of spandex and the Malfoy men.

Author's Response: I hope you\'re not the only one who got that, too! If you\'re interested in the Malfoy men in spandex, wait and see the OotP film! LUCIUS WEARS FULL-BODY LEATHER! Oh, and I\'m honoured to receive a review from you, you winner of the Winter Challenge, you! Your story is like fillet mignon to my story\'s mangled squid intestines. (Ack! Analogies again.)

Black and Whites of Days Gone By by Slian Martreb

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: In which a surprising number of things which were shadowed become clear to Hermione
Reviewer: wicked angel Signed
Date: 04/08/07 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Hmm, an intriguing beginning to what is bound to be another lovely story; you do have an enthralling way with words. The title drew me in: Black and Whites (not Black and White, or Blacks and Whites). Is there one Black in particular we're going to hear more about soon? Well, before I ramble on or speculate, let me just say 'well done, looking forward to more soon!'

Author's Response:
Thank you

Actually, this being a follow-up to Come Hell or High Water, it is most unlikely that there will be a particular Black mentioned here, but then you\'re guess is as good as mine at this point. The Black and Whites actually referes to the photographs mentioned. The line comes from the song Ellsworth by Rascal Flatts and is a particular favorite of mine

Why not speculate? Speculation is awesome
