Well, I'm 20and I just was recently introduced to the wonderful world of fanfiction. I'm very canon on my ships....Remus/Tonks, James/Lily, Harry/Ginny, and Ron/Hermione. Love 'em all. Have to say though, Tonks is my favorite character. I wish I was a metamorphomagus....maybe I just like the amazing characterization of her that Kerichi does in the wonderful Lover's Moon series. Go read that if you havent checked it out

Alright, people have been a little confused as to who's who in the story. OK so here we go.
Meera Chanduramani: The daughter of Lord Voldemort (deceased in Second Wizarding War) and Dhara Chanduramani.
James Potter: Son of Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley.
William (Bill) Weasley: Son of Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.
Daniel (Dan) Thomas: Son of Dean Thomas and Lavender Brown
Emma Thomas: Daughter of Dean Thomas and Lavender Brown, twin sister of Dan.
Eleanor (Ellie) Longbottom: Daughter of Neville Longbottom and Luna Lovegood
Oedipus (Ed) Malfoy: Son of Draco Malfoy and Pansy Parkinson
Blanche Weasley: Daughter of Bill Weasley (deceased in Second Wizarding War) and Fleur Delacour.
Sirius Weasley: Son of Bill Weasley (deceased in Second Wizarding War) and Fleur Delacour, older brother of Blanche Weasley
Brian Finnigan: Son of Seamus Finnigan and Romilda Vane.
Mallory Finnigan: Daughter of Seamus Finnigan and Romilda Vane, twin sister of Brian.
Katrina Wood: Daughter of Oliver Wood.
Theodore (Teddy) Lupin: Son of Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks.
Everybody else is either completely original characters, whose parents were not part of HP canon, or they are characters from canon that we know and love.

My muse is back! Thank the literature gods. College stress and other factors lead to extreme business for quite some time, and when I got back to the story, my muse decided to go into hibernation. Sad times. But it's awake now and the next chapter is being typed up as I speak. Yay!!!!

Just out of curiosity though, is there a reason you incorporate so much of the Indian culture into your fics? I mean, Siva, Shankira's (I can totally see Tonks wearing Indian clothes, haha), the Patils that Remus worked for...it seems like you really like Indian stuff!
Author's Response: I\'ve read a lot of Rudyard Kipling? Seen a bunch old films set in India? Known some very nice Indian girls? It\'s all of the above. I think the people, clothes, food, stories are all fab! ^_^

OK first of all I'm a little late on this whole fanfiction bandwagon as I seriously (Siriusly, if you will) just started reading fanfic a month ago. Somehow your series was one I managed to pick up first and I read every last bit of it...all the the way from Once in a Blue Moon until now and its AMAZING. I love your writing and I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who thought the HBP fight was only over marriage and they had been dating already. :D
Anyways, this chapter was great! I loved the McGonagall transformation scene....I was literally crying from laughing so hard....and wow, Scrimgeour...he's actually somewhat charming in this scene! I guess he had to have some semblance of people skills to be Minister, huh? Anyways, keep up the good work! I can't wait for the next chapter!

I'm not gonna cry...I'm not gonna cry...I'm not gonna...WEAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! This was so sad!!! Right after Sirius gets his namesake, too! How depressing...I love how you got the news to Tonks though. The wonky dreams make sense after having a concussion or something. This was so depressing though...
Author's Response: Tonks learning about lucid dreaming/controlling her dreams when it came to being with Remus seemed the right way for her to learn about and start to deal with Sirius\' death. From Bellatrix\'s words, she knew her \"Auntie\" was going to try to kill him, dreamt in emotional self-defense, but couldn\'t block out Remus, or the truth. Sigh.

Aw! The Christmas decoration inventory with Sirius scene was cute! I used to love helping my neighbors decorate their tree...we didn't have one because we're Hindu, so the house gets decorated and presents are exchanged at Diwali, not Christmas.
Anyways, moving on from stories of my childhood, the whole Legilimency thing. I don't think it was Scrimgeour. I bet you that there was a Death Eater or something trying to get in on Tonks's mind and see what was going on. Or even worse, Fudge was doing it. Son of a bitchin' (pardon my language) pervert. Wouldn't put it past him!

Author's Response: I\'m glad you\'ve helped decorate a tree. I have a South African reader who doesn\'t put one up in 110 degree summer weather and couldn\'t get a mental image of the decorations and I thought that was sad.
As for Scrimgeour, he was the only one in the corridor with Tonks, so it was definitely him, but it was also an honest \'slip\' and won\'t happen again.

Well, I must say thank you for not making the story a Harry-Saved-The-Day story. I LOVED that Ginny came back as the strong character that we all know and love instead of the weak shell the had become with the Captivus Mens potion. Man, seeing Ginny embarass Dick at the altar like that and ending it on her terms...and that punch that was thrown in? Priceless, absolutely priceless.
I also love the random little twists in here that have me cracking up. Examples: Lily complaining about different sized feet, "I'm Sirius, silly!", the fact that Fred named his son after Peeves, and the fight over black nail polish. Which reminds me, I actually had a fight with my dad about me wearing black nail polish. Funny how these things happen, huh?
And yes, my heart did literally stop for a minute when I got to the second killing curse. I was like "DON'T LET IT BE LILY, DEAR GOD DON'T LET IT BE LILY!" But it wasn't...and it was Malfoy. You did a great job of writing Malfoy's character by the way. The torn feelings of what to do are totally believable.
I don't see the need for a sequel, per se, because this story is perfect on its own. But I looked through other reviews and I saw people suggesting that you do a one-shot about Lily at Hogwarts or something. I like that idea...especially if it would involve an all Weasley/Potter Quidditch team.
I do have to say, my overall favorite moment of this story has to be when Harry punches Dick after finding a bruise on Molly's neck, Sirius yells "Oh, I can SO die happy now!" That is quite possibly my favorite line in any fanfiction that I have read. It's so perfect for the moment.
I'm quite sad this story is over, really. It's kinda depressing. Oh well, I have The Pursuit to look forward to, along with Someone to Watch Over Me, and When Darkness Did Surround Us, right? Did I mention you're one of my three favorite authors? I love your writing...
