Well, I'm 20and I just was recently introduced to the wonderful world of fanfiction. I'm very canon on my ships....Remus/Tonks, James/Lily, Harry/Ginny, and Ron/Hermione. Love 'em all. Have to say though, Tonks is my favorite character. I wish I was a metamorphomagus....maybe I just like the amazing characterization of her that Kerichi does in the wonderful Lover's Moon series. Go read that if you havent checked it out

My first story is now up! Please read and review Cutting Down His Shadow. I will love you forever if you do!

Alright, people have been a little confused as to who's who in the story. OK so here we go.

Meera Chanduramani: The daughter of Lord Voldemort (deceased in Second Wizarding War) and Dhara Chanduramani.

James Potter: Son of Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley.

William (Bill) Weasley: Son of Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.

Daniel (Dan) Thomas: Son of Dean Thomas and Lavender Brown

Emma Thomas: Daughter of Dean Thomas and Lavender Brown, twin sister of Dan.

Eleanor (Ellie) Longbottom: Daughter of Neville Longbottom and Luna Lovegood

Oedipus (Ed) Malfoy: Son of Draco Malfoy and Pansy Parkinson

Blanche Weasley: Daughter of Bill Weasley (deceased in Second Wizarding War) and Fleur Delacour.

Sirius Weasley: Son of Bill Weasley (deceased in Second Wizarding War) and Fleur Delacour, older brother of Blanche Weasley

Brian Finnigan: Son of Seamus Finnigan and Romilda Vane.

Mallory Finnigan: Daughter of Seamus Finnigan and Romilda Vane, twin sister of Brian.

Katrina Wood: Daughter of Oliver Wood.

Theodore (Teddy) Lupin: Son of Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks.

Everybody else is either completely original characters, whose parents were not part of HP canon, or they are characters from canon that we know and love.

As of 3/22/2009
My muse is back! Thank the literature gods. College stress and other factors lead to extreme business for quite some time, and when I got back to the story, my muse decided to go into hibernation. Sad times. But it's awake now and the next chapter is being typed up as I speak. Yay!!!!

The Pursuit by MagEd

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Harry and Ginny are happily married with a baby on the way. When they manipulate Ron and Hermione into both meeting them for lunch, the last thing anyone expected was for Harry and Ginny to be kidnapped.

Suddenly Ron and Hermione are left with nothing more than a note and the realization it’s up to them to follow the clues and rescue the couple they both love and adore. If only the clues weren't nonsense. If only they knew who could possibly have taken Harry and Ginny. If only they didn’t hate each other. If only they hadn’t once loved each other.

Life just got a whole lot more complicated for Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.

*Completed*

"Harry was right: there was no such thing as understanding girls, no matter how old a bloke got."

Ooh, goodness, what happened between Ron and Hermione initially? Can't wait to find out. And that riddle is beyond weird, I must say. Hope Harry and Ginny are okay! I can't wait for more!

Author's Response: The riddle is weird isn\'t it? It took me a little while to put it all together. Thanks for the review!

That was....amazing. Utterly confusing and complicated and now I have no idea who's who or who did what, but still. It all adds to the wonderful magic of this story so well!

One eentsy weentsy tiny error:

“Let me see if I’ve got this straight,” Bernard taunted, “I’m standing and you’re sitting. I’ve got my wand and both your wands,” he displayed each of them with a wave before pocketing them both with a kind of grace Hermione had never seen him display before now. “I’ve got your brother-in-law tied up and at my disposable and you’ve got absolutely zero control over anything that concerns me. Remind me again why I’m going to lose and you’re going to triumph?”

Shouldn't that be disposal? :) (That was a wonderfully cruel villanous speech, by the way)

Overall, cannot wait for another update!!! :)

Author's Response: That should be disposal, you're right! Ah, typos will be the death of me! (Thanks for point it out!) I'm glad you like the story, and that the confusion isn't throwing you off too much. Thanks for the review!

Haha, you really do have a knack for making hateable characters. First Dick, now Bernard. Although, Dick is evil. Bernard is a skeazy condesceding jerk, but I don't think he's putting a potion in Hermione's food or anything :D.

Ok, random funny fact that you may or may not know, Richard Griffiths (Uncle Vernon) was in a TV show called Pie in the Sky...funny coincidence?

Author's Response: I guess I do have a knack . . . now is that good or bad . . . ? ;) Was he really? Ha, I didn\'t know that, that\'s fun! Thanks for the review.

Wish Upon a Dog Star by Kerichi

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary:

She was stuck with limp, mousey brown hair.

Tonks didn’t scream the way she once would have. Instead, she felt bleak satisfaction. This is what grief looks like, she thought. It isn’t pretty.

Tonks' trouble with her Metamorphosing? It's complicated.

Awww!!! This story was so depressing!!!!

And yes, you did do a great job of keeping us in tune with Tonks's emotions in third person just as well as you did in first person.

I hope so much that JKR brings Sirius back in her stories so you can make Cami happy in yours. :D

P.S. Random note, but Satellite Party was here in concert a few weeks ago and I went to go see them...and got to go backstage to meet them :D

Author's Response: To go Napoleon Dynamite...Lucky! :D

I don\'t think Jo will bring Sirius back, so it will be quite a challenge bringing Cami happiness...challenge is good!

Another challenge will be to keep the HBP story from being \"depressing\" LOL. There will be angsty moments, can\'t lie, but there will be romantic ones too, and some humorous ones (snarky in Snape\'s case, heh) to lighten the atmosphere!

Waiting for the Moon by Kerichi

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary:

Giant spiders, malevolent bats, wizard scouts...werewolves. Tonks finds life in Hogsmeade far from simple, while Remus discovers having a partner in touch with her inner wolf complicates his mission and his heart.

Wait, Hamish and Fiona are from Semi-Charmed life too, right??? I fell off my chair laughing when I read that Tonks had stunned a group of Wizard Scouts! My mom thought I had gone crazy...oh well. Great chapter again, mixing happiness, sadness, humor, and anger all in one. Love it!

Author's Response: You remembered! *sniffs happily* In this dimension, Fiona doesn\'t have a ghostly ex named Artie or a bookshop, but I think you\'ll like her, and so will Tonks! I\'m glad you like that mix, because it sums up the story very nicely! :)

Look, my first review that I left off of my pretty new Mac! Woohoo! Don't you feel special?

Uhm, yea, so, Will reminds me of my boyfriend, a lot. Well, my boyfriend isn't a magic deprived werewolf or anything, but like Will, he likes cracking similar sarcastic jokes with lots of sexual innuendos. RANDOM COMMENT ASIDE this was a great chapter, I LOVED the Importance of Being Earnest allusion, and Dawlish is really annoying. Can't wait for more!

Author's Response: Doesn\'t Dawlish make you look forward to Neville\'s Gran sending him to the hospital? :D

I don\'t know whether to be happy or worried for you about your boyfriend, lol. If you\'re like Lillie, able to keep a bad boy in line, then I\'m happy! ;)

YAY!!!! And so the HBP story begins! Me excited. Anyways, I feel horrible for Tonks. Enduring all the muttering about her "failing" relationship must suck. Poor her! And that sucks that Scrimgeour made the transfer early so that she didn't have time to say proper goodbyes and stuff. Ugh, stupid man.

As for Remus, first off, what on earth are Eggy Soldiers??? I've never heard of that before. Do the werewolves know that his "mate" is an Auror? Guess not, otherwise they wouldn't be so accomodating.

Loved it overall, can't wait for more!

Author's Response: Scrimgeour may have cared more for \'Lola\' than he had planned, but nothing gets in the way of his career or the good of the Ministry--ask poor Stan!

Getting \'he\'s trying to break it off and she won\'t get the hint\' looks can\'t be fun, but at least Tonks knows that isn\'t the case.

If you reread that part, you\'ll see that I explained that the toast, cut into rectangles to dip into the soft boiled eggs were the Eggy Soldiers. I could never eat it that way myself (wobbly egg whites, ick) but eggs over medium with toast.... :D

In chapter 28 of Moonlight, Will met \'Nym\' who to the pack will only be known as an enquiry agent, because you\'re right, they wouldn\'t be too friendly if they knew her \'real\' job!

HAHA! Lupin used Pettigrew's identity! I think that's hilarious! Sneaky little rat...

YES! Snape's going to teach Tonks how to make Wolfsbane! I think. YAY! I'm a little worried about what the "price" is going to be...

Author's Response: Remus might be the quiet type, but still waters run deep, heh.

I\'ve joked with a Snape-hater that he\'ll ask for sexual favors...kinky ones...but I only want you to worry enough to come back and read what happens next! ^_~

Beauty for Ashes by Kerichi

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary:

He stared down at the drying pool of blood on the floor and thought with grim satisfaction, I am not so easy to kill.

Severus Snape leaves his old life behind, taking with him the hope that one day Nymphadora will follow.

Nope, definitely not a story to read while hormonal. Now I'm crying hysterically. Man...this was such a good story! I love how you make Severus such a likeable character. On a different, yet semi-related note, are you going to do a DH-based Snape/Eris story?

Author's Response: It took a long time to write this because I kept crying, so thank you for crying too! I prefer to think you\'re a sensitive soul. :) As for being likeable, It\'s how you look at him. Through Harry\'s eyes, Severus\' redeeming qualities are few, but the end of DH showed how wrong Harry was. If I ever wrote another Snape fic, it would be post DH, because I think he deserves to move on and find love.

OMG! Reading all those phrases made me feel like I was at my boyfriend's house. (He's even from Transylvania...hahaha) Darn those Romanians and their beautiful language! Where did you learn Romanian out of curiosity?

But yay for ANOTHER amazing storyline coming out of the wonderful mind of Kerichi!

Imi place cartea asta! (I love this book :) in Romanian. I asked le boyfriend)

Author's Response:

Yay for you having a cool Romanian boyfriend! I hope he appreciates how lucky he is to have you. ;)

I googled phrases, then used an online translator. One of my readers has a Romanian husband who suggested a 'more elegant' way to say "I hurt no one" so I immediately used it!

Hmmm....when I get the time to return to Romania, I hope you'll still have the boyfriend so I can ask for a couple of translations. (He's not the prankster type, is he? :D)

*bursts out laughing*

My boyfriend's name is Alexandru. Excuse me while I get over the fact that he's the evil dad in the story.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
ok i'm done

ANYWAYS I loved it. (I actually really loved that I got my own message telling me to come read this :) it made me feel so special!) Nadia's so human even though she's technically not a human.

By the way, I was chit chatting with boy and he said that the liquor is actually spelled ţuică

Enjoyed this installment and can't wait for more!

Author's Response:

"Father" isn't biological, so it will be interesting to see if the Alexandru in the story bears any resemblance to your boyfriend! (You've seen him in the daylight, right? ^_~)

I look so much stuff up, I forget where I get things from, but I know in the region I was researching for the dragon research centre, they spelled it with an s. I double checked and found...

Ţuică (in Romanian /'c8;uj.kə/, sometimes spelled tuica, tzuika, tsuika, tsuica, or tzuica)

Readers are special, and if a writer has a long gap between updates but is too proud to go cap in hand to the people kind enough to review before, they deserve to cry in their tsuica or tuica or however they want to spell it, LOL.

Thank you for enjoying it! ^_^

Dark Angel by Kerichi

Survival. Separation. Reunion. Death cannot stop true love; all it can do is delay it for a while.

OMG I don't know HOW I stopped reading your stories. I think this is my favorite one yet! It's addicting! AMAZING! I LOVE IT! AHHH!!!

ok now that I've calmed down some, let's talk about what I love about this story. First of all, I cried like a baby when Remus and Tonks died in DH so having this story makes me feel 954390 times better. Secondly I love that Tere is still TONKS. Like she still has her Tonksie moments. Remus, portrayed wonderfully, as usual.
The way Andromeda figured out that Tere was Tonks was kinda pushing it for me, you know she hears Terebellum and figures it all out....but I guess that the broom being gone and no one touching her room kinda helped her with that.
Overall, fantastic work. I love your stories. So so much. SO much. Can't wait for more!

Author's Response:

La Belle College sans merci hath thee in thrall...doesn't have quite the same poetic ring as Keats' La Belle Dame, but college (all those exams and papers to write, and hopefully an active social life, too) understandably takes over your life during the semester.

I'm just glad there are breaks!

Being Remus' pov we don't get to 'see' Andromeda brooding around the house for hours on end, mind racing because she knows Bellatrix is responsible, trying to figure out what her plan was and where she would have taken Dora. The clues did help, but mostly it was all the thinking about her sister that made the name ring a bell.

I'm hoping another chapter posts before Christmas. Thank you for making mine extra cheery! :)

The Twilight Before Christmas by Kerichi

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary:

Self-preservation was a Slytherin hallmark, yet so was ambition.  The night before Christmas holiday Severus enters the Forbidden Forest and finds more than potions ingredients.

I haven't been keeping up with your stories as much as I used to (that stupid thing called college got in the way) but now that it's Christmas, I can catch up on my Kerichi fix! And this was the perfect story to get me back in. Wonderful telling of the story, and I love how human Severus is here. Another winner!

Author's Response:

You've given me another reason to love Christmas! :) Life's like that, inconsiderately getting in the way of fan fiction, heh, but I'll always be grateful you get a break now and then to read.

From Harry's perspective in the books, until the end he was so consumed with viewing Snape as the enemy he couldn't see his humanity, but fan fic writers like me have always been happy to fill in the gap. :D

I hope you're having a wonderful holiday, and have a Happy New Year!
