I am in the process of adding my stories back onto the site! I have done a little editing and some won't make it back here, but what does... and what I write from now on hopefully will pass your high standards!

I have done some tweaking to the chapters of Fawkes' Gifts and am now having to have them beta'd again. Please bear with me as this takes time between postings.

If you need to contact me, try PMing me on the forum.

Oh, I was astonished to find out that Hedwig's Tale was Podcasted! How cool is that? Thank you so much mudbloodproud for the nomination and thank you so much to Wendy/kiley the Mermuggle who read it so wonderfully.

Rated:Past Featured Story
Summary: Giving high school essays a Marauder twist, this fiction is centered around the idea that some seniors in high school are require to write a letter to incoming freshman before they graduate. At Hogwarts, Seventh Years are given an assignment to write such a letter for the new First Years. Sirius decides to actually take an assignment, well seriously...sort of. He decides to look back on his entire Hogwarts years and write down his list of things not to do at Hogwarts.

Opening conversation between James and Sirius, has a few ‘modern’ phrases. Not precisely the way I expected them to talk. The rest of this chapter was really good though, and I like the fact that you have them using the Room of Requirement for homework. I like the song Moony was singing, and it was really funny for him to do that. I never really thought he would ‘make fun’ of his ‘furry little problem’ in that way. The list Sirius is writing just keeps getting better. See you at ch-3.

Still doing great, but there were still some ‘modern’ references. I wonder what McGonagall would do if someone really did come to her with that excuse for wanting to sleep in the girls dorm. Very entertaining. On to ch-4.

Still enjoying this and even with the ‘modernisms’ I think it works really well. I know you wrote this quite a while ago but I would like to say how glad I am to have started reading it. I am just glad I don’t have to wait for updates on it.

I liked the interaction with Bella, and hope there is more to come. This excerpt from the list was hilarious. I was laughing the entire time I was reading that part. Great job, and I know you must be tired of hearing it, especially since it was written so long ago, I will not be calling attention to the modern phrases any more. I did want to comment on you’re A/N, Gary Oldman who is one of my all time favorite actor, and who does play an exceptional bad guy, was absolutely perfect for the part of Sirius. Even before the part was cast, I was picturing him as the character when I read it. But to each their own. On to ch-6.

I actually didn’t mind the Yoda reference, which sounds kinda funny since I have had issues with the more modern phrases. Strange huh? Anyway that potion was really great and I liked the effects of it. I too loved the movie referenced and thought it hysterical that you could use it for inspiration for a potion in the magical world. Great job.

Just out of curiosity, what are you saying is Sirius’ middle name? Dumbledore was great in this chapter. I really do think he would react to something like this with calm questions and amusement. The list is getting better and better. Sirius is getting a little sappy and slightly OOC though. Great job and see you at the next one.

Now I have the answer to the question I asked you last chapter. The candy was absolutely brilliant. And the list just keeps getting better. Great job. Oh and just as a side note, I wrote all of these reviews and then cut and pasted, that's why no time difference between them. I still have a few more chapters to r/r so I will do them shortly. See you at the next chapter.

Truth or dare is a muggle game that has been used in quite a few fanfics, and I have to say you did a really good job on Sirius’ dare. Dumbledore really is pretty cool about it. The list is still getting better. See you at the next chapter.

I can definitely see them wanting to skip the truth questions if they have something to hide. Such as the ‘furry little problem’ and what all of the nicknames mean. Great dare for Remus by the way. It was really funny. And apparently I’m not the only one who thinks Dumbledore and McGonagall had something going on behind the scenes. Great additions to the list and see you at the next one. Oh by the way, I wrote these reviews after each chapter and saved them to post after I was finished. I hope you don’t mind, and that you don’t think I’m a speed-reader. Less than one minute to read ten chapters is faster than most computers could upload the pages.

From the A/N at the beginning, I really was expecting crap. But you did pretty well with this one, I am just wondering what Raven and Remus talk about so earnestly. Oh well maybe you will tell us. McGonagall finally figured out detention wouldn’t ave any effect especially that close to the end of school, wonderful. Not bad additions to the list either. See you at the next one.

The redecorating of the Slytherin common room and what they did to the dorms and the occupants was so funny, I was laughing hard enough to make me have to re-read twice before I could really get all they had done. Wow, long convoluted sentence there. Sorry. Anyway, I am loving this and it seems to get better as I read. The list is going great and I can’t wait to see what you call the best. See at the next one.

An end of the year costume ball with lots of muggle costumes. Huh, never would’ve thought of that. Absolutely brilliant. I loved it, and Dumbledore as Clouseau, hysterical. Having Polyjuice potion and using it would be quite against school rules, but then again it is Sirius and the last night. Great job, and the end of the list was really funny. See you at the last one.

This last chapter was really really really great! I adored it. I am so glad you worked it in that Harry could feel better after Sirius fell in the DoM. I really liked the things they were talking about adding. I have to agree with you, I love Sirius, and wish he were still around. He was the reason I cried for the first time in the HP series. I made it all the way to the fifth book and then wham. Any way, I have really enjoyed your story and I am planning to read the other two you have posted. I only hope you will continue to update them, because I have noticed it’s been a while. Great story and happy writing.

Draco, Draco, Draco. Can't say I'm surprised though. Most fan fic authors keep to HBP with him getting the matk.
What is a surprise though is you haven't folled canon after OotP. Still good though.

I am not sure I like you very much right now.
Did you have to do that? Both of them?

With seventy chapters here, I can only review every five or six chapters. The chapters are too short for me to have much to say at the end of each one.

The first five were really funny, and I hope you are not going to have Hermione/Harry. Because if you do I will have to stop reading this. That is the only pairing I cannot stand. Any way so far very funny.

Still not happy with you. Katie lived but you had to kill Ginny.
Overall a very good story. And one I liked very much.

Okay, I can breathe again. She was only trying to make Ron jealous. What a relief.
The progression is fairly fluid, but I still wish the chapters were longer.

Oh I just love this! It is so cute. I usually prefer the canon pairings, but this is good.
Definitely a scary game of truth. Veriteserum has a way of making sure everyone is embarassed. Hilarious!
