A/N: I came up with this idea a while ago. Only the first chapter has been beta read at the moment though (Thanks Dancingcarrot21 for going through this!), so it might be a while before another chapter is put online.

I know some of the information in this first chapter does not add up with the books, this is simply the way I wrote it. It's an AU story, so it wouldn't make any difference to the none AU series (not that it would anyway as this is fanfiction. Last time I looked, I wasn't JK Rowling).
