Wow, I don't usually read slash, but this one was really good. I really like your writing style, by the way. Really easy to read, straight to the point, but all the while strung together like a good writer should.

Excellent.

Hahaha! Great, loved it. I liked how you used the suspense of Voldemort's arrival and death of Hermione in the beginning, making it seemingly a serious story, and then took it to the humor level with the cement truck killing Voldemort right at the end. :)

You are a great writer.

Author's Response:

Thanks for the review, Fenrir_Confringo; I'm glad you like the story! I do feel sorry for Hermione, since I only killed her off just to set a very dark mood - but her death was not in vain! It made Benjamin Dover's entrance into the story all the more gloriously absurd!

And remember, cement mixers solve all problems!

I Wish I'd Taken Muggle Studies by OliveOil_Med

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: A potion has been created that has the ability to strip a wizard of their powers: a potion the Ministry of Magic couldn't wait to get their hands on. After the Battle of Hogwarts, lesser convicted Death Eaters are given a choice: go to Azkaban, or spend the rest of their lives as Muggles. While many people refused such a degrading option as a matter of pride, one Draco Malfoy chose the potion. Now, cast into the city of London, Draco both struggles with, and eventually enjoys his adaptation into the Muggle way of life.

But what happens when the effects of the potion turn out to be not-so permanent?

Wow, I really enjoyed this! It was a fascinating story line--very original. That's the kind of fics I like to read :).

Keep writing! I love this story so far!

Author's Response: I'm glad you are enjoying. A lot of people seem to like it. Anyway, I'm hoping to have the next chapter up soon, but Draco has been fighting me the whole way. Unlike you, he doesn't particularily like where this storyline is going.

However, Dumbeldore sees her potential as a writer and enrols her in a simple writing course. Here, she meets the mysterious and terrifying Tom Riddle and they instantly get under one another's skin. She is drawn to his dark determination towards some unknown goal and he is fascinated by her, in every way. However, Tom's friends do not approve of Keedie and her unconventional ways and Keedie has many people trying to keep her away from the dark young man as well. Something inside tells Keedie that she can make him better, but even he assures her that this is an impossible task. But she's not one to give up easily...

Damn. That was a good chapter. Loved every minute of it. The last line made me laugh, hahah. I felt all of that pain because I've lost someone I loved that way, so it was a very personal chapter for me. You captured it well, so kudos for you (as always!). I'm sad to see this ending, but since it was such a long story I know I'll pop by every now and again and read it over :).

Author's Response: I'm sad it's ending to. I'm glad you found something to relate to in this chapter. I hope it hasn't opened any wounds thought! :( Glad you liked it. :)

Date: 09/10/09 Title: Chapter 28: The Epilogue--My Immortal

Awww, thanks for the mention! This seriously has been, by-freaking-far the best fanfiction that I have ever had the wonderful pleasure to read. There isn't enough room in this review for me to describe everything I love about this story. Damn. The Epilogue was my favorite. You had me crying, seriously, I had a few tears and at the end I got up to grab a tissue! I'm a sucker, so I expected it, but it was like reading the ending of DH all over again (I mean, the heartbreak I experienced when I realized that was it, no more HP back in '07) mixed with the agony that Tom felt about losing Keeds. The end--when her apparition appeared--that was sooo good, 'If she reached for him, Salazar save him, he would reach for her' that is the line that got me! I can't tell you enough how amazing you were at writing this. And another thing! I don't ever overanalyze anything I read so I don't spoil the ending, so when it turns out it was Tom who she was hearing (I had an inkling...) but I never expected it was through the gemstone and in the future! My Godric, that was very clever. Very well thought out. I love Lord Voldemort. Or maybe just Tom Riddle. Well, they're the same really, as we can clearly see haha. Thanks again, seriously, you're the best, and I'm most likely going to keep reviewing when I re-read it, so...:)

-Avery

Author's Response: Hey! Thank you so much for all your reviews, I've loved them. So glad you liked the epilogue. Do keep re-reading, I love it!! :D

I really like how you added the eating death part, it really shows that you took the time to add in the pre-Voldemort stage of his life. Same with the diary and the ring, although those are the parts most remembered about his time at Hogwarts.

I also really like your dialogue, especially in the first chapters (sorry to spot this so late!) when Tom and Keedie argued constantly and when she was with her girlfriends, too. It makes it that much more believable and gives it depth. :) Looking forward to the next chapters!

Author's Response: Thanks! I do miss the arguing! :)

I agree with Aras Potter, you'v changed my view of Tom Riddle, too, it's incredible. Never thought that would happen, hah. Ahhh, I'm reviewing this story an awful lot, hope you don't mind :)

Author's Response: I know! I used to loathe him. Of course I don't mind more reviews! The more the merrier! ;-)

Author's Response: It's one of my favourites, too.

Ahhh, yes the cliffhanger. A device well known to be used by you. Love it.

I was a bit disappointed about this chapter, I was expecting more to happen besides conversation, seeing as it is the second to last. I hope all of our questions will be answered by next chapter, because I'm on the edge of my seat still ;). It seems to me that Tom already knows about Keedie's pregnancy, but I don't see how he would...? There weren't any clues that I could spot, unless I just can't read between the lines on this one.

I can totally see somewhere in the finale having Voldemort and Harry at the Battle of Hogwarts and just before Voldemort shoots the Killing Curse at Harry, Keedie's face flashes in his mind, or he thinks of her as Dumbledore preaches about love...or something along those lines.

I can see this story being completely plausible with the series. Every bit of it makes sense. You did a fantastic job doing that, it's not an easy thing to accomplish. Kudos.

I did like the 'Dark Lord' part, and it's funny how Keedie seems to spark all of Tom's pseudonyms for his reign of terror. Also, I must mention that your incorporation of characters we read about when they're much older adults in the HP series is intriguing and a very wonderful idea. This goes with all chapters, not just with Fudge in this one.

All in all, best of luck with the QSQ!

(And I'm the 300th review! -confetti-)

A dedicated fan of your work,

Avery

Author's Response: It's not the second to last. There are two more chapters and then the epilogue, so hopefully things'll liven up. Thanks for the 300th review ;-)
