Well, I'm 20 years old and I'm writing fan fics to develop my writing style for a BIG project I'm working on (don't ask) I like things that focus a lot on canon, but if they don't, I like a more substantial plot and solid characters.
Favorite Book: While I love all the books I still have to say that the third book remains my absolute favorite. I mean, that's the book where they introduced Lupin and Sirius! So sexy...
My favorite characters are the underdogs. I.E. Lupin, Luna, Neville, and Aberforth. Oh, and I totally love Tonks, she's the perfect compliment to Remus' character. I read HBP and I freaked out. I did a little dance that went something like, "Remus is getting some--" Uh... Er...
Well, you get the general idea...
I have written a poem that describes my current Harry Potter status:
Crazy little girl with a kettle on her head,
Walks around and says she's dead,
I know better, she's still whole
And not the imprint of a departed soul.
Grr...sex kittens...very grrr...
My favorite books outside the Potterverse are:
The Decameron, by Giovanni Boccaccio (some of my work utilizes his words, check out "A Kissed Mouth" I like this because it's like a million stories in one and Shakespeare based a lot of his plays on Boccaccio's work--seriously.)
Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte (BEST CHICK BOOK EVER...so violent!)
Frankenstein, The Modern Prometheus by Mary Shelly (best feminist book EVER)
Practical Magic/Turtle Moon/Seventh Heaven all by the loverly Alice Hoffman (if you've seen any movies based on her books, I apologize...they are horrible)
The Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco (did you know he was the world first BONDOLOGIST??? That is ... the study of James Bond...)
The Bible (Okay, everyone is going to misunderstand this so let me clarify: I like the Bible as a historical book and as a mythology book because it has so many wonderful stories and allegories to tell)
And of course, like an obligatory fan girl, I love Lord of the Rings and Chron-WHAT?-cles of Narnia. There, I said it...aren't you happy now that we have SOO much in common?
Favorite Movies:
V for Vendetta, The Royal Tenenbaums, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, HERO, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Kill Bill (Vol. 1&2); Moulin Rouge; Dawn of the Dead (Oldschool Version), King Kong, Snatch, Grindhouse, Chinatown, Pan's Labyrinth, Rear Window, North by Northwest
Tada!
Now you know everything there is to know about me. Except my Klingon name...which I don't know either so we're square!
Wow. That was ...very hot.
Yet, it wasn't childish or smutty. It was vair vair good.
And you seemed to have steamed up my computer screen. ;-)
Aww...this is cute. Even if I don't ship that way. I loikes it. You should write more!
Author's Response: thanks! ;) dunno if I\'m gonna write more though..I\'m posting ffs on another site and that\'s keeping me busy as it is XD thanks for the review! :)
NAKED! Me thinks Tonks is jealous.
Aw...hell...I knew that she was his cousin AGES ago. I couldn't kill you, I had so much anticipation for how it was going to be delivered!!!
I LOVED IT!!! You've given me three chappies in a row and I think I might die with excitement. Now I'll just have to sit back and wait a few more months.
I'm just reviewing to remind you that I am a huge fan...ie: WRITE MORE!
I'm so greedy! But honestly, I'm on the edge of my seat waiting to see what will happen next. I think you have my favorite characterization of Remus and Tonks. I lurves yous.
Man o man...you've been setting this up for a while. I'm getting so excited because I know the outcome! AND I know who the grandson is...I love it when you lay out clues for me...I feel like Nancy Drew! All in all, you have once again made me a very happy reader.
"His name is Severus Snape." Bwahahhaha!!! Could see that one coming!!! Oh Snape, you're so vindictive. I lurve it dearie, just keep more coming!
Oh dearie, I can't begin to explain how much lurve your stories. You actually examine the characters and place them in plausible situations! I lurved (LURVED!) Oblivious. I actually would check MNFF every day to see if you had updated it! It doesn't hurt that Remus and Tonks are my fav characters....hee hee.

SEXUAL TENSION! I lobes it!
Rarr. I like it. Cymone makes me laugh. And Tonks is as clumsy as ever. Rarrr chica.
Please write more!!! (As I have a good idea why Goldstein looks so "familiar") I lurve the Remus/Tonks bit...I just wish you would make them a couple...sniffles... I think you're a great writer and you write on my favorite topic (ie: Remus Lupin...sexiest teacher ever!)
Tricky Pallas! You have me checking my computer every night to see if you've updated! Instead I found the WHOLE thing on FanFiction.net!!! It was great.
(I put it on my iPod and read it during class...tee hee)
*Bows down before the great one!*

Bwahhahhahhahhaahahahaaaaaaaa! Oh dearie, I cracked up. I can SO see that combination...and you threw in the little tid-bit about Aberforth and his goats! BWA hahahha!
Honestly, it was clever and cute, but sexy. Oh so sexy.
Mmm...
Author's Response: Purrrrr...You have made my day (month?). So many people misunderstand this piece but I suppose you must be as deliciously warped as I. Nice to meet you, Luna and thanks so very much for the review!
Oooh dahlin' it's purty.
I liked how you were able to place Neville in a non canon setting and make it work. I also love the Susan Bones scenario. You've done well with this whole story, but you don't even mention Luna. I mean, she doesn't have to be a love interest, but I think she and Neville were close enough for her to not be menioned. Anywho! I loves it dearie!
Author's Response: That\'s a very good point about Luna. Maybe I\'ll have to do a little adding. Thank you so much for your review! I\'m glad you enjoyed it.
Wow, I cried a bit. It made me horribly sad. Thanks for posting this, it makes for a good read.
First of all: I lurve it! I think you have a great choice of imagery and diction; it's both sensuous and wistful. I think, even if you are only writing a fan fic, you have great potential as a writer.
However, I would like to know where you are carrying this and its connections to the Potter-verse, but I guess that's why I'll just have to stick around and wait for you to update!
Author's Response: Thanks a million for leaving a review! It's one of the most constructive I've received and I appreciate your kind words so much!
I'm afraid the story itself is rather set apart from the Potterverse, centered around three events in an alternate, Muggle life. I hope to maintain the characteristics of Hermione and Lupin, but it'll be more of a reflection on them than a connected story. I'm writing Hermione's part now, and then there'll be a conclusion. I'll try to update soon, so you can see! Thanks again. :)
