Well, I'm 20 years old and I'm writing fan fics to develop my writing style for a BIG project I'm working on (don't ask) I like things that focus a lot on canon, but if they don't, I like a more substantial plot and solid characters.

Favorite Book: While I love all the books I still have to say that the third book remains my absolute favorite. I mean, that's the book where they introduced Lupin and Sirius! So sexy...

My favorite characters are the underdogs. I.E. Lupin, Luna, Neville, and Aberforth. Oh, and I totally love Tonks, she's the perfect compliment to Remus' character. I read HBP and I freaked out. I did a little dance that went something like, "Remus is getting some--" Uh... Er...

Well, you get the general idea...

I have written a poem that describes my current Harry Potter status:

Crazy little girl with a kettle on her head,
Walks around and says she's dead,
I know better, she's still whole
And not the imprint of a departed soul.

Grr...sex kittens...very grrr...

My favorite books outside the Potterverse are:

The Decameron, by Giovanni Boccaccio (some of my work utilizes his words, check out "A Kissed Mouth" I like this because it's like a million stories in one and Shakespeare based a lot of his plays on Boccaccio's work--seriously.)

Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte (BEST CHICK BOOK EVER...so violent!)

Frankenstein, The Modern Prometheus by Mary Shelly (best feminist book EVER)

Practical Magic/Turtle Moon/Seventh Heaven all by the loverly Alice Hoffman (if you've seen any movies based on her books, I apologize...they are horrible)

The Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco (did you know he was the world first BONDOLOGIST??? That is ... the study of James Bond...)

The Bible (Okay, everyone is going to misunderstand this so let me clarify: I like the Bible as a historical book and as a mythology book because it has so many wonderful stories and allegories to tell)

And of course, like an obligatory fan girl, I love Lord of the Rings and Chron-WHAT?-cles of Narnia. There, I said it...aren't you happy now that we have SOO much in common?

Favorite Movies:

V for Vendetta, The Royal Tenenbaums, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, HERO, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Kill Bill (Vol. 1&2); Moulin Rouge; Dawn of the Dead (Oldschool Version), King Kong, Snatch, Grindhouse, Chinatown, Pan's Labyrinth, Rear Window, North by Northwest

Tada!

Now you know everything there is to know about me. Except my Klingon name...which I don't know either so we're square!
