Hello. You seem to have stumbled upon my author's page. If it is because you like what I write, I thank you and here is my therapist's phone number, because if you think I'm talented you are in serious need of some psycological help.

So, yeah. Basically, I’m Jordan, just a small-town girl that is trying to make the most of her life and writes to keep herself sane. My favorite character in the whole series is Luna Lovegood.

I'm a pretty nice person, and the only reason I won't like you is if you're mean to someone who doesn't deserve your disrespect. However, I'm also a very boring person. But, if you want to learn more, visit my LiveJournal or add me on IM.

Cheers,
Jordan

Harry cannot find the cure until beating Malfoy, which should be easy....right?

Not Really Saying Goodbye by Gmariam

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Harry Potter is staying at the Burrow for Bill and Fleur’s wedding. The night before he leaves on his journey to vanquish Voldemort, he goes out to the garden to think. Soon Ginny joins him, and he finally tells her about Prophecy. Ron and Hermione come out for a brief shared moment. Harry and Ginny come to a sad but resolute understanding before returning to the house hand in hand.

This is a one-shot scene from Book Seven. It is very fluffy and possibly a bit sniffly! It is also the second part of The Seventh Summer, a set of three stories taking place in the summer after Harry's sixth year.

Just thought I should point out that Ginny's eyes are brown, not blue. Other than that, you were once again amazing.

Author's Response: Wow, thanks for catching that! It\'s fixed already. :) I\'m glad you liked this story - thanks for your help and kind words! ~Gina :)

Luna Lovegood, fresh out of Hogwarts, is assigned her first article abroad in rural England for the Quibbler. However, she encounters a strange story in this small town. Soon, she finds herself entangled in a web and race to save the life of a former Death Eater.

I loved the names Luna had for the article title ;D They made me laugh.

I'm trying to think of something you could improve on, something that would make this story better, but I can't.

Your BETAs must be awesome :)

A Perfect Christmas by Gmariam

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Harry is once again enjoying Christmas at the Burrow, as he takes a short break from his hunt for the Horcruxes to spend time with family and friends. When Harry and Ron Apparate to Diagon Alley to do some shopping, they are surprised to learn from Fred and George that Victor Krum has begun working at the Ministry of Magic. Returning to the Burrow, Ron is upset to learn Hermione had lunch with Victor, and he questions his relationship with her. Ginny helps Ron understand and plan his next move. But when Hermione arrives, they fight once more over the Bulgarian Quidditch player. Will Ron be able to put aside his feelings of jealousy and insecurity and finally tell Hermione how he feels?

This is a rather long, very fluffy one-shot for Ron and Hermione and their perfect Christmas.

"'He's just an intern, but then so was Fleur and now she's part of the family.'"

That was so funny!

"'Well . . . the candy canes melted, the fairies flew away, and the star shot through the window and hit a gnome in the garden. Bit of a mess, really.'"

Also funny.

"'But I don't - not like that - he's - he's Ron -' Hermione was obviously struggling for words, and Harry was starting to enjoy himself."

Ditto.

"The perfect moment was broken by loud whooping and cheering coming from the porch. Harry turned and saw Ron's four older brothers standing at the door, whistling and clapping."

I'd hate living in a big family.

Once again, you amaze me. I'm not a big fan of Hr/R, but this fic was absolutely amazing. (you had just enough H/G in there to make me happy!) Also, in another fic, I saw that some asked you to write a Harry/Luna fic.... PLEASE DON'T!!! Your H/G fics are wonderful!

Author's Response: Mugglegurl - Thank you so much for leaving such kind words! I really appreciate how many comments you have left me.:) I am glad you found the story humorous, because that was something I worked hard on. I\'m also glad you liked Hr/R - I never thought I\'d write a story for them, but this one really grabbed me and I had to write it, just for them (they can be awfully cute, after all). And don\'t worry - I don\'t see myself writing any Harry/Luna fics. Ever. :) Thanks again!! I really appreciate you reading and reviewing my stories! ~Gina :)

At a Glance by greeneyes

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: "The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches..."
The war is over, and families are still torn apart, still mourning, still grieving. But what if the prophecy hadn't applied to Harry Potter or Neville Longbottom? What if the future of the wizarding world rests in the hands of a small boy with flaming red hair and green eyes like his daddy? Does he hold the key to a bright future? This boy is all Ginny Weasley has left to remind her of his father...her husband.

Aww! Jordan, I thought you were supposed to be perky. But you write sadness very well, and I think you captured the emotions perfectly.

I REALLY liked Ron in this story. Most people show him as some sort of idiot in most of their stories, but you showed that everyone has a brain. Even Ron. And what he said seemed like the sort of thing only HE could say, y'know? He was very IC, especially when he's one of the harder characters to write.

The idea that the prophecy wasn't about Harry or Neville was a unique idea (well, I haven't explored the AU cat well enough to know if it is unique or not...). It seemed awfully likely to me, and the evidence you used to prove it was convincing.

“Nooo!” he screamed, fleeing for his life.
Is it horrible that I sort of laughed at this part? I got a sudden image of Vold running away like Jack Sparrow, arms all out and feet pigeon-footed. Heh. The sort of thing only I would think of, I think.

But the best line of the story, by far, was the last line. It made me shiver. It showed how, even in times of grief, life goes on. And I think it was represented that Ginny finally excepted her losses, and maybe can finally move on in life.

I also adored how Ron kind of gets lost in memories at the end. The mention of U-NO-POO seemed kind of out-of-place and maybe a little bit too light-hearted for the otherwise dark/angsty story, but I can see why you wrote that in there. Kind of a, 'Think of all the good times you had,' sort of way of getting over your grief, yes?

All in all, a fabuloso story, chica! I adore your style of writing, and you have excellent flow. Keep it up!

A Difficult Choice by RedheadedWeasley

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: This story is one of a very sensitive nature. Ginny has a pregnancy scare and she and Hermione must figure out how to handle this situation. WARNING: Contains discussion of abortion. If you have a problem with this issue then please do not read this story. I tried my best to keep it non-confrontational, but I would rather not risk the chance of offending anyone. There isn't a sexual situation in this story, but since I do mention sex I added that warning to be safe. Thank you very much.

I also want to say a huge and wonderfully appreciative thank you to ProfPosky for all of the help she gave me on this story. She went through multiple drafts for me and really helped me shape this story into what it wanted to be!!

I, like Peri, clicked on your pretty banner to get here.

Anyways, it was a wonderful fic, Amy! I've had a family member that got pregnant when she was a teenager, and I have to agree with you that Ginny was NOT too emotional. I think she was just right :D Considering that she's still in the shock period, and not in the "Oh, CRAP!" one.

Just curious, what's the time of this fic? Before or after HBP? At first I thought before, but then when you mentioned Harry I got a bit confused... Anyways, great story!

Author's Response: Thanks Jordan! This takes place during HBP, right after Ginny and Dean break up. This actually provided the perfect time period, because the same thing happened to Ginny\'s real life counterpart. She had just broken up with one boyfriend (Dean) and was talking/thinking about the other (Harry). Harry and Ginny have not yet had their first kiss after the Quidditch game. This is sometime in between the break up and that time. Thank you so much for taking the time to review! The muse loves them.

The Owl and The Phoenix by Gmariam

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: After the disastrous events on his birthday at Privet Drive and a sad parting at the Burrow, Harry travels to Godric's Hollow with Ron and Hermione, hoping to find something that will help him on his hunt to find Voldemort's Horcruxes. He also visits his parents' graves. At the cemetery he encounters a figure from his past and comes face-to-face with the traitorous Severus Snape. Harry suffers another devastating loss, but at the same time begins to question many things, including the biggest mystery of all: whose side is Snape really on? As Harry says goodbye to an old friend, a new companion offers solace, and with help from an unlikely source, he comes to a realization that sends him off on his journey to destroy Voldemort once and for all.

This story is a one-shot scene that concludes the series The Seventh Summer, a set of three stories taking place in the summer after Harry's sixth year. They were written before the final book was released.

Hedwig! Oh, so sad. I never thought I'd be so sad to read about Hedwig dead, which is why I like you as an author so much! Hedwig's death would be a hard thing for Harry, and you captured it well and Harry was completely in character. The part with Snape and Wormtail was also great, but the ending part with Fawkes was probably the best part of the whole story! I loved it, hun, and can't wait to read more from you!

Author's Response: Hi there! Thanks so much for leaving me another nice note! I am really glad you liked this story - its a bit different for me, I think. For one, it was the first time I\'ve stepped out of Harry\'s POV. I don\'t want Hedwig to die in the next book, but I would like to see Fawkes play a role in Harry\'s future. Thanks again! ~Gina :)

Dear, the Susan Bones' Book Club is in the forums *points to link under navigation* We pretty much sit around and talk about great fics. You should be honored-- we only talk about the best over there.

Anyways, when I saw that we were suggesting good Gryffindor fics, I up and nominated you (with Harry being the Gryffindor character)! I'm glad we decided to discuss it and I hope you will drop by in the forums to see us (although, I'm not sure, but is the SBBC one of the places you can only see if you are sorted?) Anyways, cheers and good writing!

Author's Response: Thank you, mugglegirl. =) I see now that I have to register. I\'ve done that and I might take a look when I have a spare minute. Thanks for nominating me, though. It was quite the surprise. =)

Wow. I agree with Gina, this was an absolutely marvelous fic. Just reading it gave me goosebumps... Truly original. I must say, your author's note at the beginning is what caught me into reading this, and I have no regrets. You put everything into so much detail. The lake, the silence, Death himself were all incredibly desribed. The grass chain was a great touch, by the way. I thinks its what gave this story such a unique touch. Also, you portrayed Death in an interesting way. Most of the time Death (AKA Grim Reaper) is almost said to be like a dementor, but the way you described him (the eyes...) was almost mesmerizing. I can't wait to read more from you!

Let sleeping wolves lie by Foxy Wolf

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: A poem of Remus Lupin's first love at Hogwarts. James and Sirius, being the true Marauders they are, tease him about his feelings. Remus ignores his friends and enjoys the secret rendevouzs but knows he'll always be doomed when it comes to loving someone else.
Reviewer: mugglegurl Signed
Date: 01/23/07 Title: Chapter 1: Let sleeping wolves lie

I don't read much poetry, but I really did like this one. I liked how you described friendship, because, to me, it's true in so many ways. I also liked how you described Remus on the full moon, especially the 'living on a whim part', because he really can't control his werewolf self, can he? The only thing that confused me (which is saying something, because I'm terrible with poetry) was the fifth paragraph down. Who's he so romantic with?

Author's Response: The poem is about his first love at Hogwarts. It isn\'t any known girl. It\'s more about the feelings.

Thank you for your lovely review.

Dear Fans,

I know that I have not been on Mugglenet FanFic in SEVERAL months and I am sorry. These past months and year have been so crazy, hectic, and frustrating there has been no time for DD. I am sad to tell that I will not be finishing DD unless a random amount of freetime appears.
Instead of leaving my fans to a cliff-hanger, I might be writing an ending chapter to summarize how I planned to finish DD. I am so sorry for all my fans! I appreciate your time in reading and reviewing- you guys are wonderful! 200 reviews! Thanks to my fans!
