Wow. So once again, it has been ages since I've updated this bio. Or my fic. Maybe I should do that now?

Let's see. My name is still KD. I am still a college student who is still obsessed with Harry Potter. I have a crazy golden retriever who hides my shoes, a crazy older sister who is getting married next year, and entirely too much music on my computer. (The hard drive has already died. Twice.)

Oh, and just so everyone knows: I never, ever, ever abandon stories. Even if it seems like it. Chapter 3 is coming, I swear! Follow @kd213 on Twitter for updates!

Ted Lupin and the Triwizard Tournament by starstruck7

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: When Ted Lupin is named Hogwarts Champion for the newly reinstated Triwizard Tournament he will have to use all his wits to face an angry chimera, cheating, backstabbing, ex-Quidditch stars, intrigues, waltzing, illegal magic, and fierce competition from his arch-nemesis, the lovely Victoire.

But there’s more. Something truly dreadful lurks under the cover of fame and eternal glory. A mystery Ted, his famous godfather Harry Potter, and (of course) Victoire will have to solve. Because if they don’t, this tournament will surpass even its predecessors and become the bloodiest competition Hogwarts has ever seen.

A Fresh Start by Hypatia

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Scorpius Malfoy was brought up in the knowledge that he came from an old pure-blood family. Hogwarts is going to teach him a great deal more. Will he be able to rise above his family’s tainted past, or will history repeat itself?

First place in the 2007 Autumn Challenge’s New Beginnings prompt.

Nominated for Best History/Mystery in the 2008 QSQs!

Canon compliant with all seven books, however, not compliant with all interviews given by JKR.

I love this story so far. This doesn't really matter, but did you know it's not entirely cannon-compliant? Malfoy married Daphne Greengrass's sister, Luna married a relative of Newt Scamander, and George married Angelina. Wow, I read waaaaay too many JKR interviews...
Anyway, you're a really good writer, I read your story about Molly Weasley as well. Hope you keep at it!

Oh, thankyouthankyouthankyou! I needed a break from studying for finals. This was hilarious!

Author's Response: Finals! *flash of lightening, distant scream of horror* I hate finals! I can understand why you need a break. I\'m glad you liked the chapter! Thanks for reviewing.

Very nice, very engaging! Any chance of a sequel?

Author's Response: Aw, thank you! And I kind of see this fic as a stand-alone right now, but you never know when inspiration strikes. ;)

Twenty Things That Make the World Go 'Round by eva_writes

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: It's Harry Potter's first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. But his little sister, Kata Potter, still has a year to go. She's still in Little Whinging. And nothing is the same. Her brother is gone, her friends have changed, and she's been told to trust no one. All Kata has left is an assignment from her teacher: find and catalog the twenty things that make her world go 'round. Maybe Kata's too young for the magic, but she's going to have her own adventures... adventures that will take her from Little Whinging to London, a police station, the back of a train, a stage with a bright light... and maybe even to Hogwarts itself.

Twenty Things is a story about finding yourself, your friends, your secrets, and your past, and hacking it all into some sort of future.

Very interestingg start to the story. You've gone and created a believable and mystifying character. Good work!

Author's Response: Thanks! That was my biggest concern when creating Kata... whether or not she can be see as a real person. It means a lot that you noticed this particular thig about her.

Of Understanding and Misunderstanding by MagEd

Summary: The seven women who loved Ron Weasley.

So this was a lovely surprise when I randomly woke up at 5 in the morning and you had another one of these 7 people stories up! For the most part, I loved it. There were so many great, sweet moments, especially with Rosie and Molly. The final scene, the one involving Hermione's blindness, was the only one that sort of bothered me. The reason is that I'm blind myself, and all my life it has never, ever stopped me from doing anything I want, and I don't expect my family members to take extra care of me. I do know, though, that people who become blind later in life don't realize they're still capable of so much, which is terribly, terribly sad. I think, however, that it's perfectly in Hermione's character to be insecure about it, which is why I'm sort of conflicted over it. It's just an issue that I'm a little sensitive about. This isn't meant to be a flame or anything, and I still think you're a brilliant writer. And now, before this review gets horrendously long, I'm going to try and get more sleep. Keep writing! :)

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad it could be a good surprise! I'm sorry if it upset you at all, however. I definitely don't think those who are blind lead any lesser of a life, but having seen one of my friends lose her sight after a car accident, I think when you lose it, it can be extremely hard to adjust and to realise that you can still do as much and be as much without sight. That was a lot of what I was trying to convey. I definitely don't think this is a flame -- I very much appreciate hearing all of your thoughts!
