Hello loves, I'm Allie! You've obviously reached this page through grave error or through curiosity. I would urge you to turn back now, but unfortunately, it seems to be too late. =)

About me: I am a writer and an avid reader here on MNFF and other various sites as well. I am an ex-beta reader, drabbler, artist, duelist, TWSer, SBBCer, and my recent project is running the Gryffindor Review Crew with my fellow crewbee Claire so please, take pity on a poor author and leave a review. Updates may be slow in coming because SOMEONE deleted all my notes for my stories off my computer and plot lines has been lost and tangled hopelessly beyond repair. However, there may be some poetry and one-shots headed your way soon.

You can find me on the boards under the pen name dragonwings, so give me a PM if you want to talk!

Please read and most importantly, REVIEW! I love reviews, don't you? I get such a warm, fuzzy feeling inside. =)

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: The reign of Voldermort comes to an end, and with it ends the prestige and power Lucius Malfoy once had in the Wizarding World. Obviously, they both refuse, but Lucius isn't going to give up easily. After all, he wants his status back. He still has a few tricks up his sleeve and is determined to play match-maker. What happens next is a series of events that serve only to bring Hermione and Draco closer, both literally and figuratively speaking. Read to find out how this one unseemly proposal causes absolute chaos in their lives! THIS STORY IS NOT HBP and DH COMPATIBLE! Hey all! An Oliver Wood/Hermione Granger Romance

Reviewer: dragonwings Signed
Date: 08/03/07 Title: Chapter 14: The Twilight of an English Mind

PLEASE KEEP WRITING THIS STORY! I have read each chapter almost obsessively since the beginning and I cannot tell you how much I love this story! You are an extremely talented writer with a head for making up great plots and finding one of the rarest pairs in fandom-- I, personally, would have NEVER thought of Hermione/Oliver, it's just never occured to me until I read this story! You handled the Marriage Law Cliche with grace along with every other obstacle. Which makes this one, fantastic piece of writing! Absolutely brilliant!

Author's Response: You have been with me for a long time, on this story, and I love you for that *hugs*

I obviously didn\'t express myself very well, as I seemed to have scared a lot of people *grimaces* I am definitely not going to abandon this story - it is nearing the end, and it will get finished, I promise. I was actually referring to the DH/HG story when I was talking about possibly junking a fic.

Sorry for the scare - but thank you so much for your lovely comments :-)

Author's Response: Edit - Do you know, I\'ve been blithely typing up all my responses, only to find I hit the same typo in each one? It\'s DM/HG *feels that perhaps it\'s time to go to bed*

MOMENTS OF BLISS by moonymaniac

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Remus Lupin is a man with a tragic past, filled with pain, suffering and sorrow. But it is also a past filled with great adventure, true friendship and…love? Even though the odds were against him, Remus found happiness at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He had the Marauders, he was a prefect and his transformations were less horrible, thanks to his Animagi friends. What more could a teenage werewolf want? And how long could his happiness last? Remus and the Marauders prove that in the saddest of lives and darkest of times, there can still be moments of bliss.

Remus centric but with a lot of the other Marauders. This story is a romance, but has almost as much general Marauder era background and side story as romance.
Pre-HBP and DH, so some things from DH will be disregarded, as the warning indicates, but some Spoilers will be incorporated.

Gah! Absolutely brilliant! And amazingly addictive! I wish I had more constructive things to say, but that chapter just blew me away!!!! I cannot wait for the next chapter!!! =D

Author's Response: *comes out of hiding* I think this is very constructive. Knowing you actually liked it motivates me to keep writing right along…until the next chapter panic sets in. LOL Thank you so much dragonwings; I really needed reassurance on this one. And sorry about the cliffie…eh, who am I kidding? *MUWAHAHAHAHA*

Clair De Lune by Astrid Skywalker

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary:

It was full moon when the Dark Lord sealed a part of his soul within a magical amulet, and then broke it in half. One half was left to the faithful werewolves to guard. The other half was tossed into the impenetrable depths of time where no one but him could get it. When the first half has been found, the Order of the Phoenix selects Hermione Granger to go back into the past to search for the missing piece. What is waiting for her is a brutal task that will test her beyond her limits, and an undying love that extends beyond the boundaries of time.

Winner of 2007 Quicksilver Quills Awards - Best Non-Canon Romance

Update (9 May): Chapter 17, Burning, is up! Enjoy!

Reviewer: dragonwings Signed
Date: 08/21/07 Title: Chapter 15: He's Harry's Dad

Oh wow, I love this story! The flash forwards are great-- I love how you just don't cut poor Ron and Tonks out of the story. They aren't going to disappear or say, 'oh well. you love someone else. too bad for me.'

The amulet legend was very clever and inventive and I like it a lot. Keep up the good work!

A Tale of Two Matchmakers by Kerichi

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Romance for three couples when Blaise and Luna use Shakespearean styled matchmaking to hook up Ginny and Draco. There's Much Ado about...something!

Nominated for a Quicksilver Quill for Best Romance-Non Canon 2007, 2008, and 2009. In 2010 mods changed the rules (they got tired of the same fics being nominated ^_~) so no more QQ hopes, but that's okay. No proof is needed that Draco/Ginny = love.

* Written before the HBP, this tale presents an alternate sixth year in which Dumbledore lives, Draco is more than a foil to Harry, and Blaise Zabini is a girl. I hope readers who ship Draco/Ginny will enjoy the story which includes dancing with faeries, Celtic and Norse mythology, school holidays in London and Spain, and loads of fantasy and romance. "Is this a kissing book?" (to quote the Princess Bride) Yes, it is. *

(Warnings were added for safety, due to brief allusions in later chapters, not graphic content.)

Moons of Deceit by Grace has Victory

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: Remus Lupin tolerates mischievous friends and lycanthropy, while the prophetic Ariadne MacDougal negotiates a misguided family, and everyone must deal with the Death Eaters. A rather dark coming-of-age story about the death of innocence and the renewal of hope during Voldemort’s first war.

Rated: Professors •
Summary: All she wanted was love. What she got was betrayal and a broken heart...

Reviewer: dragonwings Signed
Date: 10/10/07 Title: Chapter 1: All I Have

This was absolutely fantastic! You didn't go too overboard on the whole "James as a baddie" concept and yet, you managed to convey his rather self-absorbed personality perfectly. Althea is a great character, you keep her very balanced in that you don't make her too much of a victim, but the cutting thing was really rather depressing, as I'm sure it was intended. The sad part was that she was a loner, not a slut and that he took advantage of her, but really I can't help but feel that she should've realized that he was just a guy trying to get a leg over, but maybe she wasn't so attune to those sorts of things.
Great job with grammar, wording, etc. etc. Beautiful story!!!!

Roses and Fire by hermy_loves_ron

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: One-shot. Two parts, first Ron/Hermione, then Harry/Ginny. Both parts take place at sunset after Bill and Fluer's wedding.

This is my first fan fiction on these boards, so please read and review!
Reviewer: dragonwings Signed
Date: 04/03/08 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1

That was just... beautiful. Really, it seems almost like a poem. The flow of the words was just incredible.
Waves of bright fire danced in the light of the setting sun, bathing the whole scene in a blood-red glow. The waves curled and tumbled down silky pale gold cloth, and sea blue eyes provided cool contrast to the hotness of the fiery hair.
That has to be my favorite paragraph! It's just so... perfect. Sorry for the fragmented review, I'm still in a daze lol.

You give a whole new look into the Ron/Hermione pairing. Usually, it's Hermione loving Ron despite his faults (which usually, the author feels compelled to mention, and which I find very odd,) but here, I felt like they were on equal footing. The "wedding" kiss was so beautiful! I sighed out loud when I read it!

Harry and Ginny's rencounter was as poetic as the first! I must say though, that your description of Ginny's eyes kept dancing around, so unless she kept changing her contacts, I felt that you should have kept to one color. The whole feeling of serenity in the scene was amazing. I kind of wish that there was more action in the scene (okay, I really wanted them to kiss!) but to have more would ruin it.

This is where you truly have mastered the art of the mood, I am sure because I can never remember reading a piece and feeling so relaxed and so lulled by the words. This story reminds me of a lullaby--very soft and loving but with life. Fantastic job!

Serpent in the Moonlight by Celestial Melody

Rated: Professors •
Summary: Nineteen years after Voldemort’s defeat, a young girl named Riana is living an innocuous life with her adoptive Muggle parents until she receives her acceptance letter from Hogwarts.

The two halves of her life clash, as her anorexia battles with the disdain of fellow Slytherin students for Muggle-born witches and wizards. Follow Riana on her journey through the world of wizardry and her search to find a true home, the identity of her real parents, as well as her inner conflict with anorexia.

omg, love the story! its the perfect almost-horror story. the part i liked the most was her own internal battle, the anorexia. many authors are afraid to face some of the more deadly issues. it's not all about defeating voldy you know... anyways i'm rambling. love the story, keep writing!

Author's Response: Thank you so very much. :) I\'m thrilled that you are enjoying Riana\'s tale. Her conflict with anorexia is one of the qualities that I truly love about her and it seems that most readers love that, too. :)
Again, thank you, thank you, thank you. Your reviews truly encourage me. *huggles*

Ginny Weasley: Supervixen by the_bartender713

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: What happens when you cross Ginny Weasley with the death of Harry, a tyrannic Voldemort, unwanted fame, and the betrayal of her best friend? You get a very pissed off Ginny, with an agenda for revenge.

A dystopic version of what happens after the final battle, and a bad (in a good way) Ginny that certainly takes her revenge on Voldemort in spades. The 'girl-power' super heroine you've all been waiting for- brought over from another site due to popular demand!

All lyrics are copyrighted by the band Garbage, and no infringement is intended- I thank them for inspiring this plotbunny!
Reviewer: dragonwings Signed
Date: 09/17/06 Title: Chapter 3: Queer

What else can I say other than... I love this story?

OK, I can say A LOT more. This is one the most creative stories I've read in a LONG time. I like the way you portray Hermione as a politician/backstabber; most authors just leave her as a sweet, simpering little girl and don't really explore all her (possible) character traits. And Ginny is terrific! I love her bad-girl side and the way you write the storyline, you can identify with her need for revenge.
Now that I got that out of the way... UPDATE SOON PLEASE!

Author's Response: lol--- I\'m glad you love it, and I\'m also glad you decided to expand on that thought. I\'m excited that you like my version of Hermione-- I think some people stopped reading after she was introduced, but I digress- you can\'t win them all. After all- Tom Riddle was a popular prefect and look how HE turned out. :-)
As for Ginny- I think EVERY girl has got a hidden side to her, but Ginny is one of the few that acted on it. I\'m so thankful you like her- and I can\'t wait to hear more from you!
Update will be in as soon as the mods can get it through!

I LOVE THIS STORY!!!
Ok, ok, it's out of my system now, but this is really a spectacular story and you are a terrific with your grammar and spelling.

Author's Response: lol-- hopefully it\'s not TOO out of your system- we still have something like 7 chapters to go! Glad you like it- and I thank you for appreciating the time I spend on my grammar. :-)
