Ill Met by Moonlight by Slian Martreb

Rated: Professors •
Summary: Curious as to why Sirius always seemed to harbor a special hate for Snape? The answer is here. Set in the time of the Marauders, sixth year, this is a startling revelation into their animosity. Rated R for offensive language, GA, MOL and (eventual mentioning of a) SSP. SSP means SAME SEX PAIRING. Do not read if you are offended by such things.

i do! you write beautiful endings.

Author's Response: The ending could be the only decent thing about this whole mess of a story. Really, one day, I will remix this myself and you will be amazed at the difference! Thanks for reading, anyway.

Lessons by Hallie Black

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Professor Sprout has just given 7th year Gryffindors a new project, where the class, divided in pairs, has to raise a rare plant. What’s gonna happen when Lily finds out who her partner is? And how will she survive in his sole company?

i love this. very cute and well-written, and i can't wait to finish it. is the go "ask Alice" (like the song) referrence intentional?

No One Can Save You From Yourself by Slian Martreb

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: Entered for the Redemption Challenge by Slian Martreb of Ravenclaw. Set on New Year's of Harry's fourth year, this is the tale of what happens to two men who loved too much.

Edit 1/17: Oh. And it won. The challenge. *smug*

ohhhh my this is hilarious

Author's Response: Much lighter than some of my other stuff, no? Fluff is very important once in a while and drunken fluff is a necessity in any fanfiction diet. Thanks for reading!

Redemption at the Shrieking Shack by Phoenix5225

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: She was lonely, and needed to get away. She thought Hogsmeade would make a good destination. As she entered the Shrieking Shack, she found the very last person she expected to see. She wanted to kill him, but just may end up saving him instead. For Hufflepuff.

Thank you for writing this! Ever since i finished the 6th book, i have stood strong by my belief that Snape is still good, but most of my friends won't hear anything of it. Wonderful job piecing all the facts together into something so convincing, i was so sure i had already read it in Rowling's work.

Weasley's Wearables by bajab

The Time is Now by Hermione816

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: The most succinct summary ever!! My "Book 7" told with revolving POVs from Hermione, Ron and Harry's perspectives. It's got it all! Romance, mystery, intrigue, Horcruxes, humor, international travel, house-elves, new characters, Voldy, the Burrow, and at least one wedding...

Just reread your story all these years later. I understand why you didn't finish it, what with J.K. Rowling's 7th book coming out. But it's amazing how many things you wrote alligned with her version! RAB, Mundungus, the mirror, needing a new secret-keeper, Dumbledore arranging his death with Snape... wish I knew how your version ends, but I've still really enjoyed the beginning.

Sirius: The Black Knight by Pussycat123

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Sirius was killed by Bellatrix. When he lands headlong at his dead best friend’s feet, he is a little perplexed. All is soon explained, however. He has reached Heaven, and James is here to welcome him. Before he can begin to get used to life in Heaven, he must first “watch his life” on the large screen in front of him, because it will help him understand things better. And so, that’s what he does. From the very beginning, to the very end. You too, can follow him through the ups and downs. Follow him through the highs and the lows. Follow him through the laughter, the pain, and the romance. Follow him through the story of his life. This fic is a tribute to Sirius Black. It is not all marauder-era, although a bulk of it is, and that is why it’s in this category.

um, this story is amazing. it has such a good plot and is normal most of the time and then BAM there is a llama and i am laughing my head off. so much originality in it and i like the way the Marauders interact with each other; it feels so natural.

Author's Response: Wow, thanks so much! That was a really great review, I\'m really glad you like my little fic ... I really do appreciate it! =D

As the Ink Dries by SimplyMe

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Hermione died in the Horcruxes crusade. One year later, Voldemort was finally destroyed and Ron returned home, exhausted. His room was exactly the same as he left it. But awaiting him on his desk was a small pile of letters with a short note on top.

Mr. Weasley, we found those letters addressed to you in Hermione’s belongings. It was only fair they were returned to you. Signed, Mr. and Mrs. Granger.

It's Easy by Slian Martreb

Summary: Remus has twelve years to come to term with Sirius's betrayal of James and Lily. Twelve years for memories to haunt and the thirteenth year to threaten.
Reviewer: ginevra715 Signed
Date: 06/11/07 Title: Chapter 1: It's Easy

i can't get over how beautifully you write! and i'm really glad you ended it exactly as you did, instead of reiterating what we already know from the books.

Author's Response: *blushes* Thank you so much for reading and enjoying!

Epilogues, Part I: Shadows by Grimmrook

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: The war is over, and Voldemort is dead, but the aftermath isn't what Harry had intended it to be. Amid feelings he himself cannot explain, he flees to Muggle London. Can he overcome his inner demons and lead something other than the shadow of a life his existence has become?

Actually the third story in the Epilogues story arc. If you have yet to do so, please read Right Here and One Good Day prior to reading this. Upon completion of this story, you can move on to Epilogues Part II.

this story is gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous. i love the way you write, you just capture the emotions and each character so perfectly. there is one other fanfic on this site that i've read multiple times because it is so beautifully written, and i just realized that you wrote it ("right here"). i can't wait to read the next part of this!

Author's Response: HAHAHAH!!!! You know, I had a moment like that, where I had one story I a couple of stories I loved so much, and never realized they were by the same author until one day she just all of a sudden leaves a review for Right Here. That whole situation has so far turned out rather well... Ach... Anyways, yes, and please don\'t forget One Good Day which comes between this story and Right Here. And I\'m doing my best to push through the Epilogues. At the rate I\'m going, I think Part II is a short novel length, and Part III will definitely be full on novel length, so I truly hope to continue to please. Anyway, I really appreciate the review and kind words. This is a story I am very proud of mostly due to all the work I put into it, so thank you.

A Few Moments Granted by cor_leonis

Rated: Professors •
Summary: Before Voldemort ripped them apart and banished their friendship to be something merely relived through pensieve, Sirius and James had shared a special bond. And sometimes, that sort of bond runs deeper than it seems. SB/JP slash

that was so good. and it's interesting to read a story where sirius doesn't get who he wants for once.

Under Pressure by BlackMagic

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: When Hermione goes for a charms conference, leaving Severus with their two young daughters, will he cope? And more importantly, will they all come out unharmed??

that was so cute and hilarious. poor sevvy...and i liked that you named the Potter kids Dan and Emma! tricky.

Author's Response: haha, yeah. I couldn\'t think what to call them.. XD Poor Severus indeed, I\'m really glad you got the cuteness and the attempted hilarity... :D

Narcissus by Blinded Moon

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Every night, young Sirius Black would leave his bed and sneak out of the dormitory. One night, a lovesick Remus follows him and sees a peculiar sight. Based on the ancient Greek myth of Echo and Narcissus.
Reviewer: ginevra715 Signed
Date: 10/28/06 Title: Chapter 1: One-Shot

that was captivating. i think part of what made it so beautifully sad was that after all the heartbreaking description of their love for one another, nothing came of it, when i was expecting it too. the twist really made it real for me, great story!

Author's Response: Thanks so much. I like to make stories with slightly downtrodden endings to make things more real. I\'m glad you enjoyed it!

Cliché Nation by just_the_contrary

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: A compilation of the most commonly used Harry Potter clichés in the fandom. Features Angsty!Harry, Sweet!Draco, Head Dorms, sudden romances in the forms of Ron/Hermione, Harry/Ginny and of course, Draco/Hermione, because what's a cliché without them?

The Marauders also make an appearance in this fic, including Lily/Lily's best friend/Lily's other best friend.

Warning: mention of hippopotamuses inside.

Chapter Five is up! The story is done. Also, thank you to everyone who nominated this neatly tied bundle of ridiculousness in the QQ awards, I really appreciate it!

.......................i'm trying to write a review but i am laughing to hard....................okay, so i wasn't going to review until i finished the story but this is jsut too hilarious especially with all the girls fainting at sirius and then peter wet his pants and it was just so funny i couldn't wait. all right on to read the rest of this amazingly hilarious story. you rock.

Author's Response: Ooh! Thank you. I really appreciate it.

amazing. some favorites include draco's newfound personality and voldemort waving supportively to harry from his bad seat in the back. i think the reason this story is so hilarious is beccause we've all seen these highly overused cliches and stopped in the middle of fanfics because it was our 251st time reading about Head Boy Malfoy and Head Girl Hermione.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! *squeeeeeeeee* I like the way \'newfound personality\' sounds... I can just picture Draco saying it. :)

The Things We Do For Love by Kerichi

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary:

After her first kiss with Ron, Hermione asks Ginny for advice. What follows is a lesson in the things we do for love.

This three part story was written pre-HBP, when the future looked, if not exactly rosy, at least not that dreadful shade of Lavender that coloured the Potterverse in the sixth book.

* Rated for snogging ^_~*

i love this paragraph: "It was even...snogging with Ron."

pencil in spontaneity? arrange implusiveness? hilarious, and so utterly hermione. this is a cute story, with good characterization.

Author's Response: Thank you! I\'m more of a R/T writer, but when a couple inspires like Ron and Hermione, the story has to be written! ^_^

For What It's Worth by Aelan Greenleaf

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: Three meetings, two people, one place. The girl and the boy, together and apart. Nothing lasts forever, but at least she remembers when it felt like eternity, when the days were soft, the nights of dark and their love, forever [Lily/James AU]

inredible! you have such a gift with words and imagery. the suicidal leaves spiraling into her hair...and i like the way you structured it, in different pivotal time periods all in the same location. i especially loved how i didn't realize until the very end that i read this a while ago, but this time it conjured an equally powerful but different image in my head, which just proves how well-written this is: you can suggest strong images without having to state them outright.

A Hare-y Little Problem by spunkymuzicnote

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Harry has an opportunity to view a Pensieve memory of his parents—When Lily overhears James commenting on Remus’s “furry little problem” the Marauders must do some fast talking to get themselves out of a sticky situation.

i love the marauders!! great job.

You Tell Her by SnorkackCatcher

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: As the Trio begin their quest, Hermione has an uneasy feeling that there's something very important Harry and Ron aren't telling her. And as it happens, she's absolutely right. But some things just aren't easy to tell when you're sure your friend won't want to hear them ... [Set shortly post-HBP. Gen + the canon ships.]

this was amazing. i loved the suspense throughout the whole thing of what the secret was, and while i was intially surprised the secret wasn't as serious as they made it seem, i really like this story exactly as you wrote it.

Author's Response: Thank you -- I didn\'t want things to be too dark in this one, as it\'s a sort of comedy idea treated fairly \'straight\'. :)
