I was born early on in life. For most of my life I was shorter than I am now, then I gradually grew to my current height.

This is an absolutely intriguing piece of literature, for it does, indeed, merit the word. This is something that is completely original. It takes the ideas and clues we've gathered in the first six HP books and incorporates entirely new ideas seamlessly. I'm always anxious to read more. Even the most boring parts of this story are completely fascinating.
There's definitely not enough Molly/Arthur fiction in the world. I think you've taken a very good angle here, and the first chapter makes me want to keep reading. That is hard for a lot of authors to do in the first chapter, so congrats on that!
This was such an interresting read. I've always had sort of a back-burner inclination that Percy and Hermione would be well suited to each other. This made me really wonder about the rest of their story. Why hadn't she seen him in so long, etc. That's the mark of great writing.
I ADORE Quidditch, so this was fun to read. Yay for Siobhan and...still, I love Plot!Ron.
Ah! Ah! Ah! Fluffy chapter! Fluff fluff fluff...I absolutely luffed it. :) I love the linked-journal thing. I think that the idea can be crap when the wrong people try to do it, but I have confidence in your fanfixionskillz. That's why I leave you so many reviews...even though I talk to you everyday...>> << ii :)
I felt like Harry did...Where'd Siobhan go? Quite interesting that she and Katie hit it off so well; I didn't really expect that. And what the Draco...?
"I don't know... maybe Voldemort aimed a Bludger at me, and then hid in the stands," Harry said darkly....Okay, aside from that being a hillarious line, I'm thinking this is part of some sub-plot. I thought it was way strange how he had that sting/prick/cut on his finger at dinner a few chapters ago, and I'm thinking that there's definitely a significance... And I love Ron's courage and fortitude.
Not gonna lie to you: I didn't like this chapter very much. I liked the end. And I liked Harry's character through the whole thing.
Tension between R/Hr...I fear it shan't be very smooth sailing ahead. :( Why, annej? Why? Oh...because you're freaking amazing with your plot. I forgot for a second.
I think you're absolutely brilliant. I'm just in awe that this is so thorough and lovely and totally still pre-HBP at this point. I'm going to love seeing what you do with the rest of the story and see if the Horcruxes will come into play or not. And I just love Ron and Harry. Love them.
:( :( :( :( :( How wretchidly sad. And it doesn't matter that you gave that warning to stop reading a few chapters back. It's not like I could do that after reading more than a dozen chapters of the fic. How completely emotional. On a lighter note, I was completely shocked and pleased that Siobhan asked Harry to the Halloween Ball. Brilliant, dear, just brilliant. Oh and Harry falling down the stairs was PRICELESS!
AH! AH! AH! Engaged!Harry = teh awesome. So, I loved reading the first five chapters. I'd already read bits of the first two, but I couldn't remember where I left off, so yes. I even wrote a nice shiny new paragraph for my mwpp *winks devilishly* not really for the kiddies... Um, that's not relevant to a review... Ok, one thing that I LOVE about this fic is that I don't feel lost even though I haven't read 'Year Six' because you've done a good job of covering things that are relevant to this story. I love the painting of Sirius, and I guess I can understand how Harry feels about talking/not talking to it. That would be a very bittersweet thing. Katie is an absolute doll! Will read more soon!
Grey...that really did describe this chapter. The whole feeling was just .... yes. It was sort of a stark difference. All of a sudden, everything was so serious. I was a little surprised that Harry wasn't still very euphoric about being with Katie, but I guess it's understandable when you know you're going to leave someone very soon. It was another beautiful chapter.
You know, I almost wondered if it was the Sphinx Militia who attempted to kill Minister Bones; their motive would have been to get someone else into power who would start validating and encouraging the actions the Militia takes. I don't know how much I like the idea of the AMP, but it's definitely original (as far as I know) and makes things very "exciting"....maybe just more dramatic is the word I should use. (I like exciting things to be happy.) Not gonna lie to you....started crying when Dumbledore went down. Was dying to get to the next chapter myself.
I had tears streaming down my face. I really did. I just...wow. I love the dedication of friendship that Ron and Harry have. "I'll carry you." Gah! I love the loyalty. Snape dying to save Harry... Very intense. Katie...sixteen hours does not equal a few, but I just love her and her love for Harry. I was in agony when I thought Lupin might be dead...and I was flooded with relief when Katie told us he survived. Huge relief. We just can't lose Lupin. And Harry....he just goes through so much. And...I'm not going to lie. I hate you right now. I need resolution. I need more. I at least need you to do that commentary. *huggles teh Jenna*
‘They can’t cancel Quidditch!’ match spectator and Puddlemere United Reserve Keeper Oliver Wood said. ‘It’s as if we’re expected to sit at home in fear of our lives, rather than enjoy what we still have left. It’s an outrage, it’s horrendous…’ Oh yeah, and in case Hermione doesn't already know...she lives with Katie. I was absolutely just as shocked as everyone else at the terrible news of the massacre. I'm actually quite amused because I'm also planning a "Sunday, Bloody Sunday" in my fic...massacre...trying to decide who will die...sadistic I know. But what an emotionally powerful chapter. I won't lie to you though. I almost cheered when Ron put his arm around Hermione. :)
yay lupin. my adoration for that character really goes beyond words. another really powerful chapter.
Oh Siobhan. I think I could totally ship S/R if you end up writing that. I was also way glad that I read that deleted scene of Siobhan at Gringotts...oh. snap. I think Liam is very interesting.
First, I love Alex. And Lupin. And Alex and Lupin, and I'm a bit sad I didn't get to see them in this chapter. I loved Siobhan's letter. From the opening greeting of "Potter..." to the fact that she admits that she's bored. This is why Siobhan is one of my favorite HP characters. Sweet moments between Harry and Katie. And then...grah! Harry just makes me so angry every time I read this! Why? Why? He's practically worse than Ron. Speaking of Ron...good to see he was appreciating Siobhan's lips. Flickering!Sparks. And oh snap for the obvious HMS Wildfire. Love it. Shippiest chapter ever. I'm beginning to think that I'm absolutely against the cult now too. It's too hard to see Harry and Katie in disarray. -stabs the cult-
I absolutely loved a few of the parts of this chapter. The paragraph where Harry compares Siobhan to the other pureblood families was very interesting. This was very poignant:
“I don’t live for the same things you live for. I have no war to fight, or a life to make when everything is said and done. I only have a heartache and a past full of memories that torture me, yet that I would never want to forget. That, and a flickering hope that one day I will be happy again… that I will have a reason to fight or a person to love. Just something to live for.”
And that's why Siobhan is so perfect. She's like four dimensional, that's how well she's characterized.
yay for euan abercrombie!!! I used him in my own story...well, sort of. I gave him two older siblings :)
