Like most people on this site, I am obsessed with Harry Potter. I began reading the books in 2008 (yes, I know, fairly late), and they instantly became favourites.
I love Next-Gen, because it allows you to do anything with the characters without making O.C.'s, which is really neat. Stories I have ideas for are mostly Next-Gen. I also love Fred and George, Tonks, and Hermione.
My Stories:
Right up thr Road: This was the first fanfiction story I ever wrote, and it was written about a year ago. I only have three chapters up, but I have more written. The problem is that I can see that it lacks a lot of plot. For now, it is on hiatus, until I can come up with a better plot line. If not, then, it may be deleted.
It's All You Need: First one-shot and songfic. I hope you enjoyed this as much as I did!
Stop Signs: Found the analogy in a book I was reading, and I fell in love with it. Based around the death of Fred, this is such a cute, fluffy tale.
So, for now, I am sticking with one-shots on this site. I have so many one-shot ideas bouncing around, and I just submitted one that I'm very excited about. The reaction of James on discovering the news of his missing sister reminds me of Harry's reaction towards Hermione in the Department of Mysteries in OoTP. This short story is really reminding me of that book :) Nice chapter!
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing this as well as the first chapter. Yes it is a lot like OotP - that is purposeful because it's showing Harry's (and others') characteristics coming out in the next generation. But I mainly used that situation to explore James and Lily's relationship - they'll be more on that in the last chapter which will hopefully be coming soon. Thanks a lot!!

Nice work; some people are too judgemental of the Dark Side to write about them, so congrats! If I was a witch, I would not stand for anything involved in the Dark Arts or blood purety, but it really is an interesting subject to write about! Very enjoyable!

I am not a huge Ron/Hermione fan, but this story was very nicely done. I think there was a little bit of grammar problems in Ron's blow up, but other than that.
I always wondered if Hermione could really tolerate Ron; sometimes it seems like he's just too much for her to handle! Very cute little piece :)

Aw, I love the Marauders. I really liked the intro, and it looks to be a fun story! But I do have a little critique for you, if that's okay!
It moves a little fast (i.e. you might want to spend a little more time on your scenes), but other than that it was very entertaining! Keep going!
