So cute! And such an accurate portrayal of Ron and Hermione while still making it your own.

Seven Simple Years by HalfASlug

Rated: 6th-7th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: The story of Ron and Hermione through a series of missing moments. Who said love was simple?
Reviewer: ginevra715 Signed
Date: 01/27/13 Title: Chapter 18: Nineteen Minutes Later

This was absolutely brilliant! I loved the attention to detail and the perfect way you captured Ron and Hermione's insane way of dealing with their feelings... And I especially love every time you wrote a missing scene that I had never even given a thought to before, like the scenes over the summer or their Hogsmeade trip without Harry, etc. Thank you for the incredible read!

Author's Response: Thanks for reading and reviewing! It really was seven years of insanity that could have otherwise been easily dealt with but that would be no fun at all. I really tried to pick moments that hadn't been done before I'm glad you liked that! So yeah... thanks for reading :)

That was so sad, but also a lovely combination of light-hearted and funny and serious. Thanks for giving Fred a proper send-off.

Author's Response: Thanks for reading and reviewing :) I'm glad you enjoyed it! It always made me sad that George never got to say goodbye.

Wandwork by Gmariam

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: The remarkable story behind Griselda Marchbanks' enigmatic reference to all those things Albus Dumbledore could do with a wand.

Wow, so strange to think of all these ancient characters as young people... this is great, enjoyed it :) The perfect level of subtle inappropriateness. Maybe not so subtle at times... but still perfect.

Author's Response: Thanks so much for the review! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I was giggling as I wrote it. Yes, it is weird to think of some of them as young people. 1899, imagine! But some things are probably the same in all eras. ;) Thanks again for the lovely review! ~Gina :)

Just Before Healing by WeasleyMom

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: With Hannah, things always go to yellow.

This is really beautiful! Poetic, but without losing the thread of the story. Every time you jumped a few years forward I wanted to know what was going to happen in the past scene, but you made the transition so subtly that I immediately accepted and moved forward with the story.

Author's Response: I'm glad you thought it worked. It's really almost a drabble in terms of length, but it just seemed right to handle in this way... almost just a little glimpse of each time. Thanks again -- I appreciate you taking the time to read and leave a review!

For Him by Gmariam

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: As an older, wiser Remus Lupin returns to school on the Hogwarts Express, he meets a memory from his past: his best friend's son. And he realizes that he now has a second chance to protect Harry from whatever harm the recently escaped Sirius Black may intend.
Reviewer: ginevra715 Signed

This is wonderfully written, and a great encapsulation of Remus's various roles throughout Harry's life. I think Remus has had more hardships dealt to him than any other character, yet he maintains an amazingly composed and determined outlook on life, which you capture very well.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I really appreciate the lovely compliments and am so glad to have done Remus justice here. I truly feel for him when I write things like this. You are exactly right about his hardships. Thanks again for reading this and for the lovely review! ~Gina :)

Sophomore Spells at the Wizarding University of Paris by jenniferes

Rated: Professors •
Summary: Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy attend their sophomore year at the Wizarding University of Paris. This is a sequel to both the Dragon Does the Tickling, where Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy complete their seventh year at Hogwarts after the war and fall in love and More Wandless Magic with Malfoy, where they complete their freshman year at WUP. I strongly recommend reading both those stories first.

It makes me so sad that they have to hide their relationship again! But I can't really be mad at you because you write Hermione and Draco so well! And you really think through how difficult so many aspects of their relationship would be.

Author's Response: Thank you! I figure something has to happen in their relationship for the story to be interesting. I'm not sure whether having them just solve a mystery of my own invention would be enough to keep readers engaged. But my end game is always a happy one! I also worry about the folks who say Hermione and Draco would never work out, so I try to be realistic about the difficulties. Thanks! Jenny

Figgy Christmas by ProfPosky

Rated: 1st-2nd Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: Arabella Figg expected to spend Christmas alone, as she did almost every year - as she did almost everything else. A knock on the door changes that...

I liked this! I loved your characterization of Mrs. Figg; I really felt part of her lonely little world.

Fairy Cakes by The owl

Rated: 3rd-5th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: At the end of the Christmas holidays, James and Sirius find that Mrs Potter has baked rather a lot of fairy cakes. Fairy cakes which they realise could be put to very good use. But even the best laid plans always have the potential to go wrong.

This is cute! And well-written and funny. Please write a sequel where the Marauders actually manage to get the teachers drunk?? I was looking forward to the entertainment that would surely ensue :) But therefore the twist took me off-guard and made the story all the better.

Author's Response: Haha, I'm glad you enjoyed it enough to want more. Writing a sequel would be fun, but I have other things on the go at the moment, so I don't know if/when it would happen. I'll certainly consider it. Thank you for taking the time to review :)

Agony Aunts by BrokenPromise

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary:

Albus Dumbledore sees it as an opportunity to help his students. Severus Snape sees it as an opportunity for a free drink. What could possibly go wrong?

An early birthday present for a great friend over on the boards, Sophie, otherwise known as the owl. Have a great time!

Substance Abuse added for Snape possibly getting drunk.

hehehe once I got over the fact that Albus is acting like a silly schoolgirl, I thought this was excellent! Once you accept the OOCness, Albus's and Snape's replies actually seemed incredibly true to their characters. And they're a great juxtaposition. Thanks for making me laugh!

Author's Response: Glad I could make you laugh! I tried to keep as close to character as possible, but you have to give them some leeway for the plot. Thanks for reviewing and glad you enjoyed it!

This was an excellent story! Such good characters and interwoven plot for so few chapters; I loved it. Nothing felt cliche, everything was so original -- and so well written!

Author's Response: Oh thank you!! :) This is a very lovely review. ~ Natalie
