Sparks and Mud by greennotebook

Summary: A 4-part chronicle of the collapse of the relationships between Hogwarts's Four Founders, "Sparks and Mud" follows the founders through the year that ended their ability to work together, yet inevitably set Hogwarts onto the path it is on today. Through a smattering of romance, friendship, humor, and of course, tragedy, find out how the promise contained in the relationship of the founders fell apart into sparks and mud.
Mentions of violence in later chapters- nothing big, but I'm putting the warning up anyway.

Several months have passed since Filch came into possession of Voldemort's magical powers, and he has taken over Hogwarts.
With Filch serving as The Dark Lord Snoogerblossom, the position of Hogwarts caretaker/janitor is open. Seeing as Voldemort wants his magical powers back, he and his extremely attractive new sidekick, Mungo Phelps, go undercover at Hogwarts, with Mungo posing as a transfer student and Voldemort posing as the new janitor. Wacky high-jinks ensue.
Join Voldemort as he tries to get back his magic, kill Harry Potter, steal Gryffindor's sword to make a shiny new Horcrux, romance Minerva McGonagall, discover Sirius's secret to becoming a chick magnet, and swallow a teaspoon of his pride to mop up spills the Muggle way and wear an unflattering uniform! WARNING: Extremely silly and very out-of-character.

*gasp!* malfoy being good, slytherins being eviler than usual and ginny and harry fighitng!!! WHAT is the world coming to??? lol
Author's Response: Hehe! The only thing I\'ll disagree with (sort of) there is Malfoy being good. Malfoy was being a good Slytherin. If he had just let Harry run off and kill or maim three of his students, he probably would have gone to Azkaban as an accessory to the crime. On the other hand, he didn\'t want Harry to kill or maim HIM to get to the students. So he did the only thing he could -- he made Harry back down by comparing him to Snape and Crouch. Malfoy recognized that his trick would only work once, however, which is why he went out of his way to make sure no one in his House ever put him in that position again.
